Misako sighed as she Ronin goes outside. "I cannot believe that Ronin is such a." She trailed off as she shook her head.

"He's a gold-digger!" Eleanor huffed as she held one of the new jars in her arms.

Chantal looks up from the book she was looking through. "I'm a little surprised that he hasn't even asked about your car." She notes. "It's pretty fancy!"

"That rat goes near my car, I'll slice his di."-

"Eleanor!" Misako scolded, making the raven haired girl flinch.

"Uhh, peepee?" She tried, the older woman continued to give her a look. "Weewee?"

Chantal giggled, then frowned as she turned to look out the window and saw Nya talking with Ronin.

The Ninja return to Yang's study. "Alright." Jay began as he looked at the grandfather clock as it read 2:15 AM. "So there's no way out of the Haunted Temple, but at least all the commotion's died down."

"Yeah." Kai agreed. "we just gotta get through the night together. Show Yang we're not scared." He turns to see the portrait of Sensei Yang when he thought he saw portrait moved.

The grandfather clock chimed, causing the Ninja to scream, Cole even jumped into Zane's arms.

"It's just a clock!" Cole said as he jumped out of Zane's arms. "We're not afraid of time, but we are afraid of not getting outta here in time." He started to panic when the clock soon read 2:16. "Oh my gosh, why did we spend the night in a haunted temple?!"

"Everyone, get ahold of yourselves!" Zane yelled. "Even if my volume wasn't stuck, I'd still be yelling at this decibel!"

Cole forced himself to calm down. "Zane's right. What are we doing? We need to toughen up. We're ninja! We already missed out on the Airjitzu the first time, we can't let this opportunity pass."

Kai walks over to a picture of a ship that's sailing in the sea. "Uh, guys? Are paintings supposed to move?" He asked nervously, Jay walks over and knocks on the painting, causing water to start to spill out onto the floor, making Kai back away from the water.

"Why did you touch the scary picture, Jay!?" The water started to spread out under their feet, making Kai panic even more.

"I didn't know it would do that, Cole!" Jay defended as Kai raced to the door of study as more water gushes out.

Kai grabs the handles and tries to open the doors. "Unh! It's locked! Ugh!"

"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student!" Yang's voice is soon heard.

"Oh, great." Jay said as the water is now at their waists. "Back for round two!"

Poor Kai is hyperventilating as the water is now up to their shoulders. "Water!" He was breathing too fast. "I'm afraid of ... water." In his hyper panic attack, he starts to turn the handles the wrong way. "We're all gonna drown!"

Under water, the team begins to float along with everything else in the room.

Above the water, Jay holds onto the table. "It's all in your head, Kai. He's trying to scare us out so we don't get Airjitzu."

Cole soon emerges from the water. "I don't know, tastes pretty real to me."

"Where's Kai?!" Zane asks in a yell.

The three look around, and quickly realize he's still under the water trying to open the doors. While under the water, Kai manages to open the doors.

Out in the hallway, the water rushes and flows out as the Ninja yell while they moves along with the water. They start to cough as the water begins to drain. "Well, that wasn't refreshing." Kai said as he ran his hands through his hair.

"First the haunting." Cole starts. "Then the water. What's next?"

"That's it!" Jay exclaimed. "He is testing us! Don't you see, Cole's afraid of ghosts, and Kai's afraid of water."

"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student." Kai realized. "He's making us face our fears!"

"Which means whatever he throws at us next, we have to face together." Cole said. "And this time, no running away."

"Or swimming away." Jay added.

"Fine." Kai said as the water is now mostly gone, but the four are still drenched. "But time's running out and if we don't figure out a way of staying in this together, none of us are gonna get out alive."

Chantal ran over to Nya. "Nya!" She grabs her arm and turns her around. "Nya, what are you doing with Ronin?"

"I have to help the Ninja!" The sister of the fire Ninja said. "I mad him an offer that he couldn't refuse."

The engine of R.E.X. comes to life and Ronin pokes his head out. "Let's go Nya, while the night is still young."

Nya starts to move towards the vessel.

"Nya!" Chantal protested. "You can't be serious!"

"I'm going!" Nya said firmly and with anger. "The boys need my help!" She points at her. "Don't you dare tell Sensei!" She turns and jumps into the vessel.

Chantal watched as R.E.X. flew off into the night sky as Eleanor walked over to her.

"How are we suppose to tell Kai, that his sister just left with a snake rate?"

"Make excuses or try lying." Chantal shrugged. "Until Kai threatens to burn down the tea farm."

"Well, let's pray that Nya comes back before Kai does!"

At the Temple Of Airjitzu, the Ninja are tied together with rope. "Alright, no matter what happens, no one can run away." Cole said. "We're in this together."

Jay laughs. "Haha! Ain't no thang but a Sensei Yang. Let's find him and get that Airjitzu."

The team start to move down the hall. "Just so we're not surprised, Zane, Jay, what sort of things are you afraid of?"

Zane turns to look behind them. "Ah! I think I know what I'm afraid of!" He yells, they all see Morro at the end of the hallway. "It's Morro!"

The team screams.

"Of all the times to have to fight him again!" Cole complained.

"Ugh, and he already knows Airjitzu. We don't stand a chance!" Jay complained.

"Wait a minute." Kai looks at them. "If we're all afraid of Morro, this must be the next test. And how are we supposed to save Lloyd if we don't even have the courage to face him?"

Cole nods. "He's right. Let's get him!"

The team runs after Morro, but they fumble cause they're all tied to the rope. Morro turns the corner, the team follow but he was gone. "We weren't fast enough!"

Kai turns and sees Morro. "There he is!"

"Alright. Let's step together." Cole instructed. "One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three." Morro climbs up a ladder as Kai completely stops, making the others crash into each other.

"Ow!" Jay cried when he smacked his head into Zane's titanium head.

"He went up to the attic." The fire Ninja pointing up.

"Uh, attics." Jay shutters. "Definitely near the top of the list of things I'm afraid of."

The team climb up to the attic. Kai is holding a lantern and they see Morro, who's back is to them. "He's just standing there." The blue Ninja said. "What do we do?"

"I don't know." Kai said. "But go face him, Jay."

"Ugh, you face him!"

"We'll all face him!" Cole said, before the team approach Morro, who disappears causing the Ninja to leap backwards in fear. Sensei Yang takes Morro's place.

"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student." Yang said as he faced the four. "You have passed the test."

"Huh?" Kai asked. "Then you'll teach how to do Airjitzu?"

Yang holds up a scroll. "Only those who see things through will reap the benefit of the reward." He gives the scroll to Cole, as Jay looks at his hand.

"That's not the only thing we see through!" Jay cried. "Why is it I can see through my hand!?"

Yang laughs as he starts to glow, and reveals ghosts wearing gis with chains on their waists. "Now you will join my students."

"He's not just their mentor, he's their captor." Cole breathed as the Ninja back away from Yang.

"The new dawn's upon us. Get out of here before the clock's last chime, if you can."

Cole's left foot took a step back, only to hit the entry of the attic and the four Ninja dropped with screams as they fell.

"Why did we tie ourselves together!?" Zane yelled as they climb off each other.

"There's no time to complain." Cole said as they stand back up. "We just have to move!" The team race down the hall. "One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three."

The grandfather clock just started to chime as dawn was breaking outside the temple. "The door!" Kai cried as they ran down the stairs. "Hurry!"

AS they ran for the door, Cole trips on a bar making him drop the scroll. "Uh-oh! Aah! The Scroll!" He quickly untied himself and run for the scroll.

At the last chime, the Ninja manage to escape and are now standing safely away from the temple. "Ah. My hand." Kai smiles as he looks at his left hand as he moves it. "I can see my hand!" He looks up. "We made it!"

Jay soon notices Cole's absence. "But where's Cole?" He asked, picking up the rope that his best friend is suppose to be tied to.

"Don't worry!" Cole's voice calls out. "I got the scroll!" They turn to see him, and gasp with Jay dropping the rope in the process. "Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"Y-y." Jay stutters. "You didn't make it out in time." He said sadly.

"Yeah, Cole." Kai nods. "You're a ... a." He trails off.

Cole looks down at himself and is frightened. "I'm a ... ghost." He sinks to his knees in shock as his friends try to comfort him as Yang's evil laughter is heard.
