Mulan is desperate to put on a pair of green scrubs and walk into Orthopaedics. She's getting tetchy at home and is sick of being mollycoddled. If Shang isn't home minding her, her mother is.

In three weeks, Mulan has realized there is only so much k-drama one can watch with their mother. And only so many family recipes that can be imparted via osmosis.

In three weeks, Mulan has realized Shang Li has a completely inflexible will. He's even hidden her La Perla lingerie. And when she tries to lead the kissing somewhere, he somehow eases it into nothing more than cuddling. The closest Mulan gets to breaking him is the night he comes home after a double shift, and she straddles him on the lounge. But even then, Shang only holds her face gently as she kisses him and swirls her hip against him. He's hard and she knows he wants her, but their amorous connection proceeds no further than a very heavy make-out session.
