The Ninja walk through the door and are shocked. "But ... that wasn't here before." Cole said with a frown as they walked in a different room. "How can it be the way, if that's the way we came in?"
"Well, welcome to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Kai said.
"Hey, hey! Nice one, Zane." Jay thumbed him on the back. "Who needs the Sword of Sanctuary when you've got a Nindroid?"
Kai notices a golden staff. "The Staff of the First Spinjitzu Master." He prepares to move forward.
"Wait!" Eleanor cries as she grabs his arm, stopping him. "This is the second test, remember?"
"Zane, what do you think?" Chantal asked, looking at him.
Zane looks around the room. "P.I.X.A.L. can see no pattern. For this riddle room, I'm at a loss."
"Think about it." Jay said. "The first test was a 'A Spinjitzu Master can.' So this one's "A Spinjitzu Master cannot." Though, saying it out loud, I don't like the sound of that."
Kai turns back around to look at the golden staff. "Hmm." He moves forward, but the tile moved under his weight. "Uh oh."
Arrow spikes quickly come at them, and the Ninja quickly move out of the way. Jay pushed Rainn behind him, her back hit the wall and his back bumped into her front as Zane ends up on the wall near the arrowheads over his shoulder and hips and one came near Kai's groin when he fell backwards, the others were able to dodge the rest of the attack.
"Is everyone ok?" Cole asked.
Zane sighs as he frees himself. "Oh, that was a close one."
"Every step ... is a trap." Jay whimpered as Rainn hugged his arm.
"How does one reach the staff if it becomes more difficult with every step to get there?" Zane asked. "If I'm correct, this riddle room poses quite the conundrum."
"So if a Spinjitzu Master can't do it, how are we supposed to reach the staff?" Cole asked.
"Watch and learn." Kai uses Airjitzu, but comes out of it and he grabs a hold of a column in front of the pedestal, activating another trap. "Huh? What-uh-oh!" He jumps back as an arrow barely misses him, but the second he landed on the tile he had stepped on, triggers another trap.
"No! Wait!" Cole cried as Kai kept dodging all the traps that he keeps activating.
"Not that one!"
"Just stop!"
Kai finally comes towards them, but a wrecking ball passes by him, causing him to step backwards and onto another tile.
"Oh no!" Kai yelled as the floor between him and the others disappear and they step back. Jay accidently steps on a tile that goes down, causing a boulder to appear behind them and everyone but Cole, jumps over towards Kai. Jay has his arm streched out as Rainn holds it with both her hand.
"Cole!" Eleanor cried as a wrecking ball soon comes at Cole, he backs away but it goes through him as he stepped on a tile that goes down. "Wait, I'm a ghost!" He said while looking a his hands, what am I worried about?" The wrecking ball hits a wall, causing water to burst out through the crack. "Huh? Whoa!" He jumps over to where the others are. "That! That, I can worry about!
The team soon looks at the staff. "I can make it!" Kai runs along the tiles, activating an ice spike to come down, making some tiles to fall, some fire at Kai causing him to dodge as two more ice spikes come down between him.
"Kai!" Zane yells as Kai dodges more and more traps.
"No!" Cole yells as Kai keeps activating more traps, and because of the the Ninja are now spread out.
"WILL EVERYONE PLEASE STOP MOVING!" Jay screamed out.

Finally, all the traps were broken. Kai is looking at the staff while the team is spread out on their own tiles. "I can make it." He repeated. "It's just a hop, skip, and a jump." He tries Airjitzu but falls back down causing more tiles to fall making him crawl backwards then stands up.
"But what else comes with a hop, skip, and a jump?" Cole asked. "You trigger one more trap, I don't know how much more we can take."
"The clue clearly said this is a test a Spinjitzu Master cannot do." Chantal said.
"So why are we not listening to the clue!?" Jay yells.
"Trust me, I can make it!" Kai insisted.
"Wait." Cole said. "What if it's a trick? What if the reason we can't do it is because we were never meant to reach the staff? What is the first rule of being a Ninja?"
"A Ninja never quits." Rainn answered.
Cole nods. "Exactly. And that's why we can't do it. Because a Ninja would never give up."
"What are you saying?" Kai asked. "We just quit? Are you insane?"
"I understand now!" Eleanor said, she looks down at the dark that surrounded the floor, swallowing hard she took a step forward and jumps down. Her team yelling for her.
"Oh no!" Jay cried, grabbing his head in a panic, suddenly they hear a whooping noise from down below.
"Guys! Come on down and enjoy the ride!" You can hear the smile in Eleanor's voice.
"She's alive!" Zane said, the Ninja minus Kai jump down, he looked at the staff before he jumps down.

At the bottom, Kai slides down a path just like a big slide as everyone is sliding down the spiral slides. "Seriously?"
Everyone but Kai, Jay, and Rainn enjoyed the ride. "Try to stay together!" Kai yells as the Ninja come across gaps and slide over them, before moving in different paths separately and comes across each other before they all slide away.
"Stay together!?" A freaked out Jay scream as he laid on his back. "I'm just trying to stay in one piece! Aah!" He yells as they kept sliding down, coming across some loops, which they slide around before sliding off and and going through different tunnels.
"No!"
Kai's sliding was soon at an angle and he soon stops. "Oh, great, aah!" He falls and lands on top of Eleanor. "Sorry."
Soon the others come by as they yell before sliding over to them, landing on top of them.
The team look ahead. "Whoa!" They yell as Jay is right behind them and he crashes into them, separting them as they slide along some bumps. The team minus Cole and Zane grab big ice stalactite.
"Uh oh! Aah!" Kai cries as he crashes into Chantal and Zane, making them fall down with him.
"Whoo-hoo!" Jay cheers, using icicles like skies. "I love skiiing!"
"Yeah!"
"Alright!" Cole smiles as he, Zane and Rainn slide along a path. Soon they come up to an ice wall, causing them to scream as they break through leaving their body shapes. Jay screams before he goes through it, but his shape went through Zane and Rainn's shapes before the others crashes through.

The team is now in a heap on the other side. Zane slides off the pile of snow. "Is everyone ok?" He asked.
"That was fun." Chantal smiles as they all climb off each other, then pouts. "Lloyd would have enjoyed that ride."
"What did we get ourselves into?" Kai asked as Jay climbs up another wall of snow to see their surroundings.
"Oh!" He cried. "It's a maze! I'm great at mazes!"
They move through the cave, until Kai sees his reflection on a wall. But he's older. "Whoa!" He moved his hand to his reflection. "If my reflection means anything, I'm starting to think we won't be breaking out of this maze any time at all."
Zane comes up to another wall to see his reflection. "My reflection." He placed a hand on the wall. "Is that me?"
Eleanor walks up to the same wall, seeing her reflection. Her hair is waist length, tied behind her back. "Wow. We're older, but our gis are different."
"I don't believe these reflections reveal our inability to escape, but a mere glimpse of our future selves." Rainn said as she looks at her reflection, her hair is the same length.
"Misako said 'To move forward, don't look ahead.' Is that what it means?" Cole asked as walks up to a wall. "Wait a minute, why is it I can't see my reflection? Where is my reflection?" He cries in panic.
"It's probably because you're a ghost." Kai said with his hand on his reflection as Jay walks up to another wall.
"Ghosts cast reflections, Kai." Zane said as Jay's reflection of his future self resting on a hand on his best friend's shoulder, but Jay's future reflection looks like he's just holding his hand out.
"He's probably just looking in the wrong place." Jay said.
"I am looking at the same place you are!" Cole then sighs heavily, folding his arms with anger that he can't see his own reflection. "Wait a minute." He turns to the wall. "I think I see me." He takes a closer look, but it's not him at all. "It's Morro! He's in the maze too!"
Morro strikes the wall with the Sword Of Sanctuary, breaking the wall, barrying Cole in the process, as Jay comes at him, but Morro holds the sword at his neck. "All you ninja do is talk!" He complains. "Blah, blah, blah. I'll stop you from talking!" He swings the sword at Jay.
"Jay!" Rainn cried as he moves back and kicks Morro down. Jay turns and runs away as Morro jumps up and quickly chases him.
"Aah! He's attacking an unarmed man!" Jay cried.
The Ninja give chase. "Jay, hang in there!" Rainn cried.
"We're coming for you!" Kai added.
"No! Not that way!" Zane yelled.

Jay comes up to a dead end before he sees Morro's reflection behind him, preparing to strike. Jay dodges the sword and it hits some ice spikes, causing more to grow in their place. As Jay stumbled backwards, Zane soon jumps on Morro's back and struggles as Morro tries to buck him off.
Jay comes up to an ice spike and pulls it off. Creating more in it's place. Jay uses it against Morro.
"Zane's here, but Cole, where are you?" Jay calls as Zane tackles Morro again.

"I don't really know!" Cole called as he ran down a path. "But I'm coming!" He soon trips and goes through a wall, colliding into Morro. "Huh, why didn't I do that sooner?"
Kai soon slides to a stumbling stop. Rain, Chantal, and Eleanor soon crash into him and the four stumble forward before regaining their balance as they watch Morro fight their friends.
"What'd we do?" Chantal asked as Kai notices all the growing ice.
"Ellie, can you make some crystal?" He asked as he turns to Eleanor.
"Of course I can." She answered with a frown. "Why?"
"Can I have a crystal shard?"
Still confused, Eleanor creates a small crystal shard before holding it out to him. "I don't understand." She said as Kai took it.
Kai charges up to Morro, who just blew Zane and Jay backwards. Morro swings the sword at the red Ninja, but Kai blocked the attack with an ice shard, then quickly backs away. "Come on! Catch me if you can!" Morro charges at him, and Kai throws the crystal shard at him, Morro looks at the shard for a second and suddenly he's trapped in ice.
"No!" Morro yells as the Ninja regroup. "You can't trap me. I'll find you, Ninja. Just wait, you'll see!"
"Quick." Jay looks at his friends. "How do we get out of here?"
They soon move on and Rainn trips. "'To move forward, don't look ahead.'" Cole recites the clue.
"Don't look ahead." Jay said, noticing the light from under their feet. "Look below!"
"There's light!" Kai said. "Everyone, dig!"

The Ninja fall through the hole that they've just dug. "Ow!" Jay cried as they stood up and looked around.
Up ahead is a stream along with shrine, the Ninja jump down from from rocks. "What?" Rainn starts, confused. "What is it?"
The team had just come up to the remains, with a very old straw hat, a large crystal in the hands. "It's him." Kai breathed. "Lloyd's grandfather."
"The First Spinjitzu Master." Zane said. The Ninja bow in respect.
Chantal slowly walked up to the remains. "Please forgive me, Master." She apologizes as she took the Realm Crystal and the skeleton's hands fell apart. "I'm sorry Master." She apologized as she backs up and bumps into Kai.
"How does it work?" He asked as she turns around.
"How it works is you'll hand over the Crystal, or say goodbye to your friend!" Morro yelled as he brought up an unconscious Lloyd.
Lloyd groaned as he regained consciousness. "I'm sorry. I couldn't stop him."
"So what'll it be?" Morro demanded.
A thought struck Rainn, she grabs Jay and whispers something to him.
"That's it!" He gasps, making his friends look at him. "Ellie! You have your dragon."
She gasps. "Yeah!" She thrusts her arms out, summoning her dragon. That startles Morro, making him let go of Lloyd as he took a step back.
Eleanor runs and does Spinjitzu towards her dragon. Lloyd turns and kicks Morro, who grunts and growls before shoving Lloyd into the stream.
"Lloyd!" The Ninja cried. Eleanor's dragon flew towards Lloyd. Catching him.
Lloyd grunted as he landed on Eleanor's dragon, he slowly opens his eyes to look up at her. "Ellie?"
She smiles at him. "Hi." Her dragon roars and blasts at Morro, but he dodges the attack. "Sensei and Misako are gonna be extatic to see you." Her dragon turns and flies off out of the cave.

Outside, Eleanor's dragon flies out of the cave. Lloyd winces a little from the shinning bright sun, but smiles as the dragon lowers down onto the Destiny's Bounty.
"Lloyd!" Misako is in tears as Eleanor's dragon lowers down and Lloyd slowly pushed himself up and used the dragon's wing to slid down like a slide.
"My son!" Misako said brightly, tears shinning behind her glasses.
"Hi mom." Lloyd smiles at her, she grabs him in a tight hug as her tears slid down her cheeks.
"Thank you Eleanor." Sensei walks up to her.
She nods. "You're welcome. But I'm not the only one who deserves the credit."
Sensei places a hand on her shoulder. "But you deserve some credit too." He turns to face the mother son hug. "Could you help Lloyd down below so he can rest?"
Eleanor nods. "Of course."

A few minutes later, in the boys' quarters. Lloyd is lying in his bed wearing his pj's as he looks at everybody. "You all sacrificed so much to save me." He looks at Cole. "Cole."-
"Hey, don't worry Green Machine." Cole cuts him off.
Lloyd looked at Chantal and gently took her hand. "But now Ninjago's gonna be cursed." He said as he turns back to look at everyone in the room.
"Yes." Zane nods. "But now we have you."
Jay walks over to a window and opens it. "And now our powers are back."
Cole walks over to his best friend as he looks at Lloyd. "As you get strong, so will we." He said with a smile. "And they haven't even seen us at full strength." He turns and shoots his powers out of the window and into the air, the others following him.
While the boys have their back to him, Lloyd turns to Chantal and leans to her and kisses her cheek, making her blush.
