Summary: After his break-up with Naruto, Sasuke expected to be more heartbroken. But life is full of surprises.
Bisexual Sasuke & Sakura
"Sasuke, we should go to the pride parade." The Uchiha shook his head, he didn't fancy going. It used to be a thing he and Naruto did when they were together, but now that they broke up it was painful. Why go somewhere that's only going to remind you of your ex-lover?
Especially as the said man moved on with someone else. Naruto would probably be there with Gaara anyhow.
"I'll pass." The blonde pouted.
"Sakura's going to be there, you know?"
Sasuke gave Ino a look.
"And why would that interest me?"
"Because she's the only one who can keep your mind off Naruto." The Yamanaka grinned, she was the one who introduced them to each other. Sakura and Ino were long childhood friends whilst Ino knew Sasuke from college.
She had set them up on a date, without their permission mind you. Just Ino being Ino.
"There's nothing going on between us."
"Oh believe me I know, you're still hung up on Naruto. But you like her, she likes you. Something's going to happen in the future." Well, he wouldn't lie. Sakura is the only person he made a connection with after Naruto which he didn't think was possible.
Still, it wasn't fair for her to wait for him to move on.
"And what if I see Naruto with Gaara?"
"Again, Sakura's going to be there. You'll be fine, please for her." Sighing, it would probably be best to go along anyway. He couldn't avoid a place just because his ex-lover was there.
"Fine."
"Sasuke, you're here." Sakura's face perked up seeing him. Her cheeks had the bisexual flag painted on, Sasuke had his on one cheek. He gave a small smile feeling his heart flutter. "Ah, someone wouldn't take no for an answer."
Tilting his head towards the blonde woman, she just ignored him and grabbed hold of Sakura's arm. "Let's go!"
"I think we lost her," Sakura said as she couldn't find Ino anywhere. Well, that's expected considering the big crowd. Looking around Sakura spotted Naruto and Gaara ahead, kissing. They hadn't noticed them thankfully but it still felt awkward.
"We can leave if you want?" Sakura suggested, knowing he wouldn't want to see Naruto kissing his boyfriend.
Surprisingly though he wasn't bothered by it rather found himself content? There was no broken heart, no jealousy, nor even surprise. Sasuke expected to see Naruto as he always forced him to go to these events.
Naruto loved to socialise, he not so much.
"Sakura will be there, you'll be fine."
Ino's voice rang through his head. Maybe she was right.
Sasuke never thought about Naruto being with her. He couldn't take his eyes off her with the way she smiled and laughed, or how she easily got flustered when he flirted back.
He loved to tease her.
Even when he went to bed, she was on his mind instead of said blonde.
"I'm fine," Sasuke said, facing her. "You're with me."
Well, she wasn't expecting that.
"Oh." Blushing at the little confession, Sakura squirmed on the spot with the way his eyes looked at her.
He smirked, taking her hand catching her off guard kissing her knuckles lightly.
"We should probably find Ino though," although he made no move to go looking. Sakura grinned, latching herself onto his arm.
"But what if I want you all to myself?"
"That can be arranged."
A little something different for this prompt. Since pride month was last month, it was the first thing I thought of when I saw pride.
