Summary: After years apart Naruto reunites with Sasuke and Sakura again along with some news. Highschool AU

He hadn't seen them in nine years, almost ten. Once you leave school, it's hard to maintain contact with everyone. So of course he had been surprised when he came across a pregnant Sakura in the market like it was nothing.

"Sa...Sakura-Chan?" Naruto sputtered, unsure of what to make of the situation. At the age of sixteen, the two of them had graduated together and left school. And now at twenty-five, she was going to be a mother?

"Oh, hey Naruto." She stood up straighter, hand rubbing her back because who said carrying a child is easy?

"You're… you're... " He closed his mouth then, a scowl made its way across his face. "I mean seriously? You're pregnant and he left you like this?"

Sakura laughed at that. "My husband is with me, Naruto, don't worry. I just needed to get out and do something."

"Oh…" Well, that's a relief. For a second Naruto thought that either he had gotten her knocked up and left or got her to do the shopping. Either one would have made him pissed because hello. You can't let a pregnant woman do the shopping by herself.

"How have you been? It's been ages," she turned around smiling at him leaning on the trolley for support.

"Huh oh yeah, all good with me. Me and Hinata just recently got engaged. Wait a minute… Did you just say, husband?" Sakura slowly nodded, then showed the wedding ring.

"You're married before me?" Sakura huffed at that.

"It's not a competition, and what's that supposed to mean? Are you saying I can't get married before you?" He quickly put his hands up shaking his head.

"Hey, you know that's not what I meant. It just seems like yesterday we were in school together and now I see you like this." Sakura gave him a sad smile.

"Yeah, it has been a while. I'm really sorry I haven't been in contact with you."

"It's all good, not exactly like I've done any better."

"I thought I heard a loudmouth," a new voice spoke out and Naruto turned to see his best friend there. Since when did he return?

"Sasuke! You're here too? Well, this is quite a turnout. How long have you been back?"

"I see you haven't changed," Sasuke smirked, putting in the drinks he was carrying into the trolley. Naruto let out an 'oi' as he took over the trolley from Sakura.

"Hey, hey, Sasuke bastard, did you know that Sakura-Chan's going to be a mother now? Can you believe that?" Sasuke gave him a look as if to say, how much of an idiot are you?

"I can believe it because she's my wife."

There was silence for a moment as Naruto stood there processing the words.

"3...2...1…"

"Wait, your WHAT?! How? Since when?"

"We both went to the same University and bumped into one another. And well, we… kind of started dating." Sakura blushed a little at that, still not used to telling the story.

It almost seemed like a fairy-tale.

Unlike them, Sasuke had moved schools at fourteen due to his father's business so it was unlikely they would meet again. Yet fate had said otherwise.

"Kind of? You're pregnant! You two did a lot more than just date." The two turned red, taken aback by the forwardness.

Sasuke coughed composing himself.

"Am I not allowed to sleep with my girlfriend?" This caused Sakura to slap him on the arm, glaring at the man. He only rolled his eyes in response, smirking, Naruto tsked.

"I expected better of you."

"We're fine Naruto, it's what we both want." He was being serious while holding Sakura's hand. Sure getting pregnant so soon wasn't what they planned, but the couple talked it over and wanted to keep the baby. Sasuke had planned to propose to Sakura before they found out, it was just a massive coincidence really.

"It is?" Sakura nodded, giving Naruto a grin. They both had decent jobs and Sasuke along with Itachi were doing the baby's room. Life couldn't be more perfect.

"Oh, well in that case. I guess congratulations are in order. Two to be exact." Recalling the earlier words of them being married.

"You two work fast though, I don't even think Shikamaru and Temari have tied the knot."

But then again, Sakura had been in love with Sasuke for as long as he can remember. Maybe it is meant to be.

Hmm, I'm not sure why but I'm not satisfied with this one. I think because I had a longer/better version in my head and this just out like 'bleh'
