Summary: Uh tbh I have no idea how to summarise this one. Enjoy^^

Mikoto gave a dramatic sigh, causing her husband to glance at her from reading his paper.

"Is there something wrong dear?"

"I just miss Sasu-Chan, he never comes home and when we talk on the phone he hardly talks about his day, what he's been doing and ends the call so quickly."

"I mean can you blame him? He and his friends are always harassed by the paparazzi, there's always something about them in the paper." And as proof he finds the double-page showing her a new photo they've taken of them. She just pouted in return.

"I know, I know. But he's our son, if I knew this was going to happen I would have never encouraged him to pursue his passion for music." Fugaku merely rolled his eyes at his wife's dramatic behaviour. He knows she would have never done so.

Sasuke and his friends were the most popular band in J-Pop. All the women loved them and they were touring around the world. It's a dream come true for Sasuke, even if the hassle was a pain.

The phone rang and Mikoto practically bolted out of the seat to get to it.

"Hey, mom?"

"Sasu-Chan! How are you? Are you eating well? How are your friends? Why haven't you been contacting me as much recently? You know how that makes me feel." Poor Sasuke had barely gotten a word in and rolled his eyes.

"I'm fine and yes I am eating well. My friends are annoying but they're fine. I know but recently we've had trouble with reporters trying to hack into our phones and devices. So we have to be careful about what we say. Uh… I need to tell you something. But, I think it's better if I do so face to face. Is it okay to come by this weekend?"

"You're coming home for the weekend?" Mikoto's eyes lit up squealing. She would finally have her baby again. Fugaku shook his head but smiled lightly. It was rare to have Sasuke home.

"It would have to be longer than the weekend, we're on holiday and well… there's something else. But that would easily be explained face to face." Not really caring about the other reason, Mikoto told him how he's welcomed anytime and there didn't need to be an excuse of why he wanted to go home.

"We'll see you soon sweetie," she was practically jumping up and down.

"Yeah and mom, promise me you won't freak out?"

"Why would I freak out? I'm just happy to have you home. Take care of yourself, okay hunny." Hanging up the phone she turned to Fugaku excitedly.

"He's coming home this weekend."

"You don't say?"

Everything was prepared, as soon as she got off the phone with Sasuke, Mikoto immediately called Itachi to let him know so that they could all be there this weekend. He asked to bring Izumi seeing as they had plenty of room and of course Mikoto agreed.

They were husband and wife so she was family. Shisui had also turned up, having not seen Sasuke for so long.

The car pulled up and Mikoto let out a squeal gathering everyone to the door. There were even balloons and decorations about to welcome him home.

"He's here, he's here." Itachi tried to calm his mother down, the last thing Sasuke needed was to be smothered just coming through the door. But alas, no one could stop Mikoto Uchiha.

"Sasu-Chan!" Mikoto gave him a big hug just before he got in, almost squeezing him. Itachi chuckled at the scene and as he got his breath back he turned to his family awkwardly.

"There's something you need to know and mother please don't freak out." Now that got their attention. What could there be to possibly freak out about?

"You can come in now," a familiar petite pink girl made her way in.

"Hi, Mrs. Uchiha, Mr Uchiha." Sakura waved, smiling sheepishly.

"Sakura-Cha-" Mikoto stopped in her tracks seeing a small baby cradled in her arms asleep, with black hair. The family stood there in shock as Sasuke gave an awkward cough.

"You already met Sakura, well, she's my wife now and this is Sarada. Our child," and that was it before Mikoto fainted.

"Isn't this a bit of an overreaction?" Itachi muttered, fanning his mother. She was finally coming around on the sofa, eyes fluttering opened.

"My baby… is a father?" Sasuke felt his face turn red and Fugaku was currently holding baby Sarada. After carrying his wife to the sofa, the two felt awkward feeling bad about bringing such news on the doorstep… literally. Whilst it is a surprise, it's not an unwanted one.

He along with Izumi and Shisui tried to make them more comfortable whilst Itachi teased his brother for keeping such a big secret. They all took turns carrying little Sarada cooing at her, she was awake now and let out little giggles, smiling at them.

"It's not like we wanted to, I didn't want to expose Sakura and Sarada to everyone. Like I mentioned, we've been having troubles with reporters. Apparently, there's a load of money to whoever can find the biggest scoop about us."

"You've seen what they did to Naruto." Itachi nodded, remembering the news about his engagement with Hinata. The poor girl was threatened online and fans even turned up at her house. Thankfully though she had Neji who took care of them, but it's still extreme.

It's no wonder why he wanted to keep his own little family a secret.

Sitting upright, Mikoto looked at the scene fondly of her husband with his granddaughter. She most certainly looked like Sasuke. Sakura sat next to Mikoto, hands put together in an apology.

"We're really sorry about keeping this a secret. It's not on purpose or anything." She waved her off. "Oh, don't worry about it. I'm sorry about the… overreaction but if your youngest came home with a baby it would shock you too." Sakura laughed at that nodding, and as the two chatted away, about how Sasuke and Sakura reunited.

I mean Sasuke did travel around often, apparently her son had found out that Sakura had become a doctor and got Kakashi to call her and set up to be his personal one. After being hassled over and over with every other doctor appointment he went to.

She had started spending more and more time with him and he finally asked her on a date. There were candles lit and rose petals everywhere. It seemed he went all-in on their date.

How romantic. Who knew Sasuke had it in him.

"Anyway, I want to hold my granddaughter." Fugaku was surprised how long it took her to say so, but nodded, walking over to hand their granddaughter.

"Hello, little Sarada." She cooed in response, grabbing hold of her hair looking up curiously. She was so cute.

Sasuke sat next to his wife, hand at her back gently stroking her. She smiled in response, head resting on his shoulder, cuddling next to him.

"We figured with the big news you would want to make up by spending time with Sarada. That's why we thought we would stay here longer."

"I have no complaints, you hear that Sarada? We're going to have so much fun." She only let out a small smile as Fukgaku sighed.

"You have no idea what you've let Sarada in for."

I felt like this should have been an angsty fic but it just ended up being more fluff instead haha
