Summary: Sakura has been stuck in bed all day worrying Sarada. And Sasuke's being suspicious.
"Where's Mama?" Sarada asked as she came into the house from spending the day training with Boruto and Mitsuki.
"Resting," Sasuke replied, sipping his tea.
"Still?" She knew her Ma had aches and pains, but she didn't think it was that serious. Did she need to go to the hospital?
Voicing her thoughts she caught her Papa almost choking on his tea as he tried to collect himself.
"No, it's nothing serious."
"But she's been in bed all day, surely we should get Tsunade or Aunty Ino to check up on her."
"There's nothing to worry about Sarada. Trust me."
"How can I when you're being dismissive about it. You know what's wrong. If it's something serious you can tell me, I just want to know." Sarada gave Sasuke a pleading look. If there was something wrong with Sakura, then she should know.
Sarada is their daughter, plus old enough to handle it.
Sasuke's lips thinned as he tried to consider his options, which wasn't many.
"It's…" Sasuke wasn't sure how to explain. How would you explain it to your daughter?
"Your mother's just recovering from the activities… we've been doing." Sarada gave him a weird look. What kind of activities could cause so much pain?
Suddenly it clicked.
"Oh...oh." So that's why her Papa was being so dismissive about the subject. Why he wasn't worried. There wasn't anything to be worried about in the first place.
"That's… omg seriously? What are you two, horny teenagers?" About to open his mouth to protest, Sarada continued.
"I thought Mama was in pain heck I thought for a moment she was dying but you're saying you two had rough passionate sex last night and now she can't move."
"Well…"
"Tell me I'm wrong." He said nothing.
I mean, she wasn't wrong.
Sarada bashed her head against the table, and here Boruto told her how lucky she is about not having lovey-dovey parents.
This is much worse.
Meanwhile, poor Sakura who could hear the conversation from the bedroom buried her head into the pillows.
"I hate you so much anata."
I honestly feel like poor Sarada would be on the receiving end with her two parents. I mean hey, they have been away from each other for so long.
