That night, Apple had made the excuse of seeing a movie to leave her and Raven's room. An hour after the blonde had left, a knock came from the door.

"Who is it?" asked Raven as she got up to answer it.

"It's Ashlynn," came the daughter of Cinderella's voice from the other side of the door.

"Is everything alright?" asked Raven as she opened it to allow her in.

"Yeah, everything is fine," said Ashlynn while walking past Raven.

"In fact I came with news that Apple told me earlier that I think you need to hear," she said while turning around to face the young witch.

"Are you sure it's okay to tell me, I mean this is betraying Apple's trust isn't it?" asked Raven who was a little nervous about this.

"Normally I wouldn't say anything, but this may help you get with her," said Ashlynn.

"What do you mean?" asked Raven. Upon hearing this her cheeks turned a bright shade of pink as she was not used to talking about her crush on the blonde princess and felt a little embarrassed about it.

"Apple told me she doesn't want to marry Daring, she said that she's actually gay herself," said Ashlynn, which caused Raven's eyes to go wide and her mouth to drop open out of shock.

"You… you can't be serious," said Raven.

"I am, she didn't say anything about liking anyone though but it does mean that you may have a chance with her," said Ashlynn.

"She may not want to marry Daring, but with all of the fights we have had since Legacy Day I doubt she would ever like me back," said Raven while looking down at the floor with depression written all over her face.

"You can't let that stop you, you have to fight for what you love, Raven," said Ashlynn who was starting to get worried about the way this was turning out.

"Thanks for letting me know about this, Ashlynn, but I don't think I can confess to her," said Raven.

"Hex, she may even be worse than Apple," thought Ashlynn with a concerned expression as she watched the witch flop down on her bed. The daughter of Cinderella then left without a further word.
