Two days later, Ashlynn and Briar were talking as they got ready for bed, and what a conversation it was.
"Well, the last few days have been fun," said Briar while sitting down on the side of her bed while letting out a frustrated huffing sound.
"You mean the whole Raven avoiding Apple thing?" asked Ashlynn while standing with her back against a wall as she stood on Briar's side of the room.
"Yeah, that may have been too big of a blow we gave her," said Briar while rubbing her eyes out of frustration. She then got a hext alert on her mirrorphone which was sitting on the nightstand.
"Your fairy sending you sweet dreams?" asked Ashlynn who had been filled in on Briar and Faybelle's relationship.
"Maybe," said Briar with a smile as she wrote something back.
"You know, it's kind of funny that you and Apple both fell in love with the people who were meant to be your storybook villains," said Ashlynn.
"Guess so," said Briar before turning her mirrorphone off and putting it back on the nightstand. Over in their room, Apple and Raven were already in bed, but Apple was on her mirrorphone while laying in her bed.
"Maybe I should tell her," thought Apple as she looked at the picture that she and Raven had taken the day they had become co leaders for the yearbook committee. Suddenly, a hext alert came up on her mirrorphone which was in silent mode.
"What do you want?" thought Apple as she noticed that it was from Daring. The hext read, 'I talked to our parents and said that since Raven refuses to be The Evil Queen for our story then we should just go ahead and up our wedding date'.
"Oh no," whispered Apple before she continued to read. 'A car will be sent tomorrow at five, the ceremony will be held two days from now at your mother's castle; P.S, I overheard your conversation with Briar at Ashlynn's party, and I'll tell everyone if you refuse to show up'.
"This can't be happening," said Apple, who had started to cry while dropping her mirrorphone as her hands began to shake.
