16 years later (Katie's story)
In one of the luxurious buildings Katie was awake at the same time the sun rose since she has nothing better to do Katie decided to draw pictures from her sketchbook, and using her pencil and color pencils. As she draws her newest pic her sun pendant began a soft glow as her parents who adopted her were sneaking into her room to surprise her with a birthday soufflé which had a candle lit.
"Surprise!" Katie said happily that it was the sixteenth year she spoiled her own surprise on her own birthday.
"She found out again." Her mom said as Katie giggle, and blew out the candle on her soufflé.
"Well someone has been busy drawing."
"Yeah I thought I would do some art while I was awake very early. Oh I got it."
"Got what I didn't hear your pho-" Before her dad could finish Katie's Iphone rang, and Katie pick it up.
"How did she know that the phone is going to ring?"
"Luck I guess. Hello? Hey Leslie! Thank you. Shopping day at Time Square? Sounds good to me. See you soon." Katie said hanging up, and going to the closet finding the right clothes for the day.
"Who is this young woman?" Her mom asked as Katie looked at the picture.
"I'm not sure I saw her in my sleep, and decided to draw her. Anyway I have to get ready to shop with Leslie at Time Square."
"You know you have a performance at the Radio City Music Hall."
"I know, but I need to relax once and a while without filming a movie or television show or a interview or recording a new song or performing." Katie said. Katie is raised as a celebrity, and starred in multiple films, and shows even record her own songs for her albums, but sometimes the spotlight is stressful that she wants to relax and be like a normal teenager. After she picked out her clothes for her birthday she took off her night clothes, and put her regular clothes on along with fixing her hair.
"See you two later." Katie said putting on her shoes, and grabbed her purse, and phone leaving her room of the penthouse, and taking the elevator down to the lobby. Once she arrived she saw Leslie at the lobby who happily greeted her with a hug.
"Happy birthday."
"Thank you."
"We're going to have the best birthday shopping for you. Did your parents say where they're going to have your birthday dinner?"
"No I have to perform at the Radio City Music Hall tonight."
"That sucks. Hopefully a little shopping could make you feel better."
They arrived at Time Square beginning their shopping day. When they were heading to the next store a girl in a hoodie bumped into Katie.
"Careful where you are going." Katie said as the hooded girl ignored her. As Katie walked she noticed something was missing. Her wallet was missing that she looks behind her seeing the hoodie girl realizing she stole her wallet.
"Hey!"
The hooded girl looked up and took off as Katie chased after her, and cornered her in a alley.
"Give me back my wallet!"
The minute she grabbed her hand the sun pendant began to glow brightly along with the hooded girl's pendant resembling a crescent moon began to glow as well that sparks of magic began to appear in their hands and the wind blew really hard that the girl's hood blew off revealing her face that Katie realized she is the girl in her drawing.
