Chapter 6

Rory Winston was pleased that he had transferred the stolen money from Switzerland to the Cayman Islands just as a precaution. He flicked through a brochure he had on superyachts. He intended on using some of Emily Prentiss money to purchase a second hand one and disappear, never to be seen again after he had changed his identity.

"Buzz, Buzz."

He pressed his intercom button and asked who it was suddenly his heart nearly stopped

"FBI, Mr Winston, can we come up?" Elle Greenaway asked, smirking at the surprise in his voice

"Of course, Agent." He answered a lot calmer than he felt.

He opened the door and waited for the agents to arrive.

Elle and Hotch noticed the smug man stood by his door.

Hotch surprised him by grabbing his wrist and turning him around, and handcuffing him

"Rory Winston, your under arrest for Embezzlement of 85 million dollars from Emily Prentiss." The colour continued to drain from the man's face as Elle read his Miranda rights to him.

He managed to regain some composure. "That was Jareau, and you have all the evidence." He told them

"No! Mr Winston, we have your fabricated evidence, setting up Ms Jareau to be your patsy. We have the files from your home laptop. We have watched you transfer the money from Switzerland to Cayman Island this morning. We planted a keystroke recorder on your laptop yesterday, so everything you have typed appeared on a computer screen in Quantico. Your files were downloaded to Quantico last night." Smirked Elle

"I want a lawyer, now." He screamed as all his plans fell apart

"I would think about that first, Mr Winston. We want Elizabeth Prentiss. If you cooperate with us, we could talk to the federal prosecutor and make a deal. If you don't, I will personally make sure you spend the rest of your wretched life in a maximum-security federal prison, not a country club. You tried to screw over a sick FBI agent and Jennifer Jareau, who my whole team think of as a family member. I will ask you again when we get to Quantico." Hotch warned the worried man

Elle and Hotch sat opposite Rory Winston in a Quantico interrogation room. The two FBI profilers could see he was in total panic. His brow had a sheen of sweat visible, and he had a slight shake visible in his hands resting on the tabletop.

"Mr Winston, would you still like us to contact your lawyer?" Hotch asked the worried man

He bowed his head as he thought. He looked up

"What deal is on the table?" He questioned, "better make it a good one." He snarled with his last fragment of confidence left.

"You were willing to let an innocent woman go to prison for your crime." Snarled Elle as she slammed her palms into the table, making Winston jump.

"You will help us arrest Ambassador Prentiss and give us your full cooperation. I will talk to the Federal prosecutor, and we would recommend a less brutal prison and the possibility of parole." Hotch told him using his patented glare.

Winston just shook his head side to side when the interrogation room door burst open

"You bastard, why me?" A furious Jennifer Jareau yelled at him

Rory Winston made the mistake of smirking at Jennifer. The furious blonde running on her emotions slammed her cocky bosses head into the table. The angry blonde was grabbed by Emily and pulled out of the room.

"I've got you, Jennifer," Emily told the furious Blonde as she pulled her back into the observation room.

Garcia sat in her lair with a can of monster next to her keyboard as she chatted with an old hacker friend in cyberspace and watched as he bypassed the last part of the banks' security. When the bank noticed the security breach, it would have originated in Singapore and never be traced to the 6th floor of Quantico.

'Thank you, Blue Smurf; great job. Great working with you again.' Garcia signed off with her old hacker friend.

Garcia had full access to Ambassador Prentiss, remaining 4.5 million dollars.

"Try and steal from my Princess and hurt her Ice Queen. You evil, evil witch." Snarled Garcia

She transferred her remaining money out of her account, leaving her a generous 100 dollars. The money went into a secure FBI bank account; Elizabeth's bank would think she had transferred it to a group on the FBI's watch list. This would mean she wouldn't be able to use her bank's fraud promise. One Ambassador, Elizabeth Prentiss, was nearly broke and needed quick access to her embezzled money.

Garcia watched as a very upscale Italian restaurant tried Elizabeth Prentiss's black Amex card for payment. With great glee, she watched as it was declined once, then twice and for a very embarrassing third time.

"Payback is a bitch, you old troll." Smirked Garcia.

Elizabeth Prentiss sat with her old friend having a power lunch at her favourite Italian restaurant. The restaurant was so exclusive it took three months for most ordinary people to get a reservation. Elizabeth, of course, could always get a table the same day because she was one of Washington's elite.

"I am sorry, Ambassador, your card has been declined. Do you have any other form of payment?" The bistro manager told her.

"That's ridiculous; try my card again." Replied the annoyed ambassador

The bistro manager just nodded and walked away.

He tried the Amex card for a second time and still received 'Card Declined' with a deep sigh; he pushed the card for the third time and again received 'Card Declined.'

He returned to the ambassador's table "your card has been declined again twice, ambassador. Do you have another form of payment?" He asked her again.

"Allow me, Elizabeth, how embarrassing to have your card declined three times. Of course, this will remain between us that you're having money troubles," smirked her friend, who obviously couldn't wait to tell everyone of Elizabeth's public shame. Even the higher echelons of society had their professional gossips.

It took five minutes from her leaving her embarrassing lunch to get the first offer of help.

After receiving a further two embarrassing phone calls, she sat at her desk in the mansion, staring in disbelief at her laptop screen. Her bank balance glared at her '100 dollars.'

She picked her cell phone up and dialled Rory Winston, annoyed that she got his voice mail. She refused to leave a message.

EJ

"Emily?" Jennifer asked

Emily looked at the blonde and smiled "say that again." Smirked Emily

"Emily?" Replied Jennifer

"If I'd known a night in a cell would have loosened that stick in your ass, I would have done it six months ago." Smirked Emily

Jennifer smiled "make the most of your time Ms Prentiss. I will be back!" She smirked. "All big and bad Ice Queen. You wait." Winked Jennifer

Emily gulped, not know if she was serious

They both watched the breaking news on the plasma reporting the Embezzlement of Emily's 85 million by Jennifer.

"You naughty, naughty woman." Laughed Emily

Jennifer pushed Emily over and laid on top of her kissing down her neck. She snuggled into her side and fell asleep. Emily just held her why she slept, smiling, thinking back to last nights epiphany.

"I need you, Jennifer Jareau. You are my gorgeous safety blanket." Smirked Emily closing her eyes.

Garcia walked into the room and smiled at the sight of Jennifer asleep in Emily's arms. She pulled her phone out and snapped off a couple of photos, and quietly walked out, leaving the couple sleeping.

EJ

Elle walked into the interrogation room with Winston laptop and placed it down on the table.

"You will transfer all the money into these three accounts in the name of Rosalyn Jareau." Elle passed him and the account details.

Hotch glared at the man in front of him. He disgusted him. Willing to send a young woman to jail because of his greed. "Remember your plea deal is dependent on your full cooperation, any issues, and the deal is off. Normally things don't bother me, you disgust me, and I would love you to mess up." Hotch unusually showed his emotions

"You have my word." An unhappy man told Hotch

After twenty minutes, all the money had been transferred to the allocated accounts.

Hotch handed Winston his cell phone and told him to turn it back on. Winston had meant his P.A to inform any callers he was in a meeting and could not be interrupted. This was not uncommon for senior members of the law firm.

Within five minutes, his phone rang.
