Lobotomy [Help Wanted/Gameverse – no pairings]

Mitch remembered the pain. Pain that had cut through his blinding terror before everything went dark. Then the nightmares came. Horrifying and warped versions of his father and uncle Henry's creations coming after him again and again. He wasn't sure how long it lasted, but he survived and fought on until it ended.

After that…well, he sort of floated? He didn't know how to describe the time he existed in the dark. Sometimes sounds would penetrate the endless quiet, but not much else.

Once he thought he heard Michael. He wasn't angry this time though, he was crying and apologizing for everything, begging him to wake up. Mitch wanted to tell him it was okay, to hug the big brother he thought was gone and tell him he forgave him. But no matter how hard he tried all he could do was float in the darkness.

He wanted to wake up.

Haunted Halls [Help Wanted/Gameverse – no pairings]

The place had been eerie enough before he learned the animatronics walked at night. There was a heavy, melancholic air about the failing pizzeria that clung to the wall just as thick as the pizza grease did.

Now that he was on his fifth night, he knew at least part of the reason why: the animatronics were haunted. Four nights of terror, witnessing robots behaving in ways that went beyond programming or malfunctions. Disembodied voices and strange illusions. Either the place was haunted or Mike was losing his mind. He didn't know which option was worse. After last night's call, the brunet had found a new resolve for surviving his final shift. He was going to get his check and corner his boss for answers only he could give.

What he'd heard… oh God that last call.

He desperately hoped that the Phone Guy hadn't joined the other restless spirits haunting the pizzeria.
