Part 3
Barry followed Caitlin into their apartment. He looked around and recognized it right away.
"This was your apartment before we got married. I moved in here because I lived in this tiny studio apartment." Said Barry
"Yeah actually you moved in shortly after we became engaged. Charlie has her own place above the bar."
"Well this is new. But I kind of like this change."
Both turned to find Sara Lance sitting on their couch.
"Did you break in here?" asked Caitlin
"No seems in this timeline Rip recruited me for the Legends right before the Amazo went down. So I never joined the League of Assassins. But I have all my memories from the old earth. Someone gave Rip his memories and he came back for all of us. By the way Ray, Snart, Rory and I are responsible for your dad getting out of prison. When he got out was what we call a soft point in the timeline. We went back to the night your mom died let Thawne kill her seeing as it was a fixed point. Recorded Thawne killing her then had Gideon make it look like security video and dropped it off at the DA's office." Said Sara
"But you had to wait until my dad had spent nearly ten years in prison?" asked Barry
"Unfortunately yes. He had to go to prison so you would become a CSI to ensure you would become the Flash. Now if you need it we will help you get rid of Thawne for good. Oh and I already had Ray build a quantum splicer so that we can stabilize Firestorm. Now the question is. Is Firestorm Stein and Jax or Ronnie Raymond? Gideon doesn't know."
"We don't know. I do know that Ronnie is presumed dead like before. But we have an idea on where to find Firestorm." Said Caitlin
"Do you have a plan to deal with Thawne? Cause while I would rather not kill someone. I am willing to make an exception for that bastard." Said Sara
"Yeah. We are going to talk to Kara about sending him to the Phantom Zone. I mean I wish it were possible to get rid of him before he killed my mom. But I know better than to screw up the timeline." Said Barry
"Lucky for us this is a new timeline. So only the past can't be messed with any more than we already have. By the way when did you get a twin Caitlin?" asked Sara
"Apparently on this Earth I always have had one. But Charlie use to be Frost." Said Caitlin
"So she has powers and you don't." said Sara
"As far as we know I don't but who knows I could develop them later. On the old Earth it was well over a year and half after the particle accelerator explosion that Cisco developed his powers." Said Caitlin
"There was one other reason I stopped by. It was to give you this."
Sara handed Barry a ring.
"That is a memory ring that Cisco will design in a couple of years. Gideon fabricated it. That way J'onn doesn't have to reveal his identity to everyone you want to remember the old earth." Said Sara
"Thanks. I know just who to test it on. My mom. While it seems that we have a better relationship on this Earth then the old one. There are things I need her to remember to get some answers about my dad. She lied on the old Earth about him being dead. The truth was that he was alive just taken over by an evil ice persona that made Frost on her worst day look warm and fuzzy. Oh and if you ever tell Charlie I said that about her I will amputate your hands." Said Caitlin
"Damn girl you are so hot when you talk like that. But I am in love with Ava and you are married to Barry so that is going nowhere."
"And I have never been attracted to a woman." Said Caitlin
"True. Well I need to get back to the Waverider. Got to make sure Mick isn't trying to roast anyone. Or Snart isn't freezing anyone." Said Sara
"Tell Mick that Frost loves his books. She also is expecting an autographed copy of the next one for Christmas."
"I will pass on the message. Though I think he kind of has a thing for your sister."
"Wouldn't surprise me. She likes to criticize my chose in men. Barry excluded but she seems to have a thing for men with criminal records."
"Well on the old Earth she might have had a point. Well Ronnie wasn't bad. But then you went and fell for Zoom in disguise. Then there was Julian who was a smug bastard. He was going to turn you in unless I quit my job."
"Which you did. I never thought anyone would do something like that for me."
"I think that really is my cue to get out of here. Call if you need our help." Said Sara
"We will." Said Barry
"By the way congratulations on getting hitched."
Sara then left using a time courier. Once Sara was gone Caitlin headed over to a book shelf and pulled an album out. Barry was looking around the living room and smiled when he saw several framed photo of him and Caitlin including one of them dressed as Danny and Sandy from Grease.
"Cait?"
"Yeah Barry?"
"When was it we were dressed like Danny and Sandy?"
Caitlin came over and looked at the picture he was staring at.
"That is from a costume party you dragged me to our junior year of college. It was at the student union."
"We won cutest couple. They wanted us to sing a duet."
"That was never going to happen. While you can sing I still am completely tone deaf. So is Charlie by the way. That reminds me. She still wants you to take her white water rafting."
"I will put that on the list of things to do. First we stop Thawne. Stop any rouge metas we need to. Keep a look out for Zoom, hope that we don't need to stop Savitar. Come up with a plan to deal with DeVoe."
"If we can stop DeVoe before he can set the enlightenment into motion then we shouldn't have to deal with either version of Cicada." Said Caitlin
"What about Ramsey?"
"He maybe a problem. I don't think that there is a way to talk him out of using dark matter in his cancer cure. Charlie never liked him. Thinks he is to full of himself."
"Maybe you should start looking into a cure now. Talk to Alex Danvers. Kara told me that Alex has basically the same degrees you do. But you know that. I just remembered you were in college with her."
"True. I can also talk to my mom and Alex's mom both also bioengineers."
"That is a great idea. I do have a question about when we go to bed."
"You are on the right when looking at the bed from the foot of it."
"Actually I can't find it in my memories if you like to cuddle or not."
"I do actually. My memories of this Earth tell me you really like to."
"I do. Cait, I know we are married. But we can take things slow. Wait can Thawne see or hear us?"
"No Cisco already placed a jammer in the apartment. He did it while we were at your dad's."
"Good. Cause I find it a bit creepy that he could spy on us."
"Yeah that was creepy. Now how about we look at our wedding album?"
"Sounds great. Maybe we can order pizza?"
"Sure. But we are going to need to get rid of Thawne soon. We could use his money to keep you fed. Seeing I am the only one that has had a paycheck for the last nine months. Oh and once we get control of Star Labs we should have J'onn and Lyla look into getting the government restrictions lifted."
"We will. But first we get rid of Thawne."
"Good because trust me Charlie will have no problem with freezing him to death."
"That is one thing I wouldn't doubt."
Barry leaned over and kissed Caitlin. They then curled up on the couch to look at the pictures of their wedding.
