A few hundred years into the Third Age, Lord Cirdan of the Grey Havens sends an elleth named Elluin and her family to Greenwood the Great to make their home under King Thranduil. They bear a prophecy that hints at fruition when Elluin, now a servant in the palace, finds herself falling in love with the troubled Elvenking.

The prisoner spoke reluctantly, "there was a rumor going around the wild that-" he paused "someone was looking for a particular warrior, for a particular job involving a Princess, and a kidnapping. I suspect no-one else would take the job, and so he found me, no more." A threat lies on the Greenwood, one that affects both Legolas and his sister, Elwen.

As an Elleth trying to help save Middle Earth, I was far too busy to be looking for romance. Despite this, I ended up finding it with someone I would never have expected.
