To make matters worse, Hux starts to experience sporadic episodes of paranoia that may or may not have something to do with the Force.

The Republic is at War, and only an old hope can save it. A reimagining of the Last Jedi, with justice done to characters like Luke Skywalker and Rey, deeper roles for Captain Phasma, Snoke and Poe Dameron, as well as the removal of unneeded side plots, the expansion of others and the return of fan-favourite EU characters. "This will begin to set things right."

Post-Revenge of the Sith. Obi-Wan gets lost in a Sandstorm on Tatooine and finds more than he expected. Obi-Wan Kenobi/Darth Vader.

A dark Luke Skywalker comes to terms with the fact that the Force, and indeed the universe, are not what he thought they were. As he clashes with past enemies and allies, his father remains a source of strength for him; and the deadline for their mutual goal to dethrone the Emperor is fast approaching. An AU in which the universe is more realistic in terms of 'good' and 'evil'.

Prince Luke Skywalker is missing, Jedi Apprentice Leia Organa is fighting for her life captured by her father. The Rebel Alliance has seized the Galaxy's distrust of Emperor Darth Vader after revealing his illegal First Order Navy and their threat to the Empire is now more dangerous than ever. Faced with threats to both his Empire and his family, the road ahead is darker than ever.

This is the start of my rewrite of the force awakens. Rey is now played by Millie Bobby brown and will not be powerful. There is no Finn. I've done away with the Kylo in Ren's name, who won't be played by Adam Driver. This is my verison and what I would of liked to of seen. I've still used elements of the force awakens but the story will be very different.
