(MAY NOT BE CONNECTED TO THE MAIN STORY BUT WILL SEE. JUST FUN STORY I WANTED TO WRITE.)
Lady Daphne Blake was walking through a town of York near a swamp taking a vacation from her life in Coolsville and to get away from her cheating boyfriend Sir Fred Jones.
"Damn Fred! I need a place to get away from that asshole!" Said Daphne after overhearing two young girls talking about how handsome Sir Jones was. Suddenly a hand grabbed her shoulder.
"Why hello there Sugar." Came a voice behind Daphne. Turning she saw a beautiful woman with raven hair tied back with a red headband dress in a red and grey outfit that made her look similar to a Gypsy to Daphne. Yet Daphne felt something familiar about the woman but couldn't place it.
"Oh hi." Said Daphne thinking that if Fred wasn't screwing his whore right now he would immediately try to stick himself in this woman. "I couldn't help be over hear you Sugar, saying you need a place to get away. A place to be alone."
"Um yeah I do." Said Daphne. "Know a place?" The woman smiled. "I know a whole island."
"I'm Lady Blake but you can call me Daphne." The dark hair woman smiled. "Madame Dupree but please call me Lena." The two got to the docks and they climb on to a feir driven by a old man name Jacques, who Lena called a old friend. (He not evil in this.)
That night a dream came to Daphne that felt so real.
In the dream Daphne saw settlers dancing under the stars. She focused on one of the dancing pair. She saw what looks like Lena dancing with a woman that looked… just like Daphne. The dream ended when Daphne saw the other self face.
Daphne woke to someone entering the bedroom and sitting up she saw it was Lena holding a smoking cup of what must be coffee. She remembered being invited to MoonScar Island and was given a room in the big house. "Good morning Sugar." Said Lena smiling as she sat at the edge of Daphne bed. "Morning Lena." Said Daphne taking the cup Lena offered. Taking a sip Daphne realize it wasn't coffee but still good and some how familiar to Daphne. "So what shall we do to Darling?" Asked Lena with a cheeky grin.
"Well what do you do as a hobby?" Asked Daphne and Lena chuckled. "Well I'm very good with Wax. And perhaps I can cast a spell to help you find true love." Daphne giggled. "I wouldn't mind the help."
Daphne watch as Lena humming a little song molded the wax into a human like shape. And what seem like no time Daphne was looking at a wax figuring of her which look so lifelike. "Can I have some of your hair Sugar?" Asked Lena smiling at Daphne pulled some hair off which the dark hair woman set into the doll. "Now the next part." Lena went over to a cat statue that held a container which when she opened it revealed pink liquid. "A love potion made it last night for you." Explained Lena winking as she set the wax doll into the liquid before cutting off a strand of her own hair. Tied it together with a string before putting it in the container with the doll and closing the lid.
"Now it will require a couple day for it to work. For the potion needs to get absorbed into the doll. Hope you don't mind Daphne?" Daphne smiled. "I don't mind. My vacation doesn't end for another three weeks."
"Plenty of time." Said Lena also smiling. "Care to help me in the garden Suger?" Daphne nodded. "Sure I love planting." Lena giggled. "I fetch you some clothes that you can work in."
The clothes Lena brought were old but worn out like they been well maintain. They fit Daphne like they been made for her and she will admit they felt very familiar. Both women worked in the garden before doing other task around the house and yard. And despite Daphne being raised in a rich family she love getting her hands dirty.
When they retired for dinner they enjoyed a nice meal then talked about nothing really next to the crackling fire. At one point they stopped talking and just gazed into each other's faces their eyes glowing in the fire light. Then they decided to retired for the night. Standing in front of Daphne's room they looked at each other again.
"So how was your first day on my little island?" Asked Lena. "It was quite enjoyable. Especially with company like you." Then not know what compelled her Daphne brush hair out of Lena's face.
Lena then grabbed Daphne's hand and then kissed her palm lovingly. Electricity seem to shoot through Daphne and her heart race. "Well goodnight." Said Lena walking towards her own room. Though Daphne thought she could hear something like purring come from the dark hair beauty. After a long minute Daphne entered her room and in a daze mange to get ready and in her bed.
Over the next couple of days Daphne grew closer to Lena. They would spend long talks about their lives though Lena seem to be kinda hesitant to go into much details. They worked in the garden and took walks together. Daphne keep having dreams of a different her being together with a Lena which made her heart feel stronger for the dark hair woman.
One night when Lena and Daphne were outside Daphne's room which had become a regular thing. "The stars were Beautiful tonight." Said Daphne as she kissed Lena's palm since it was her turn. But Lena place her hand on Daphne's face again and move closer. Daphne's breath caught.
"That Fred is quit a fool for ignoring a beautiful woman like you." Said Lena and Daphne looked at the dark hair woman brown eyes.
"If he was here he'll try to fuck you right against the door." Said Daphne her voice annoyed. "A man isn't my type." Said Lena moving closer to Daphne gently placing her other hand on Daphne's hips. Daphne didn't think much of it as she giggled. "So what type of man is your type the King?" Lena moved very close to Daphne who still wasn't thinking about what she should not be doing.
"Sugar, i didn't say my type is male." Then Lena captured Daphne in a kiss. Daphne was surprised because she always saw herself as a straight woman but no thoughts of that came to her mind, only desire for this beautiful woman. Daphne found herself returning the kiss. Their hands traveling over each other's body as they press together.
"Lena…" Moaned Daphne as Lena kissed her neck while as grabbing her left breast.
"You don't need a man to make you happy." Said Lena. "Not when I can give it to you for eternity." Daphne strangling believed her.
Then Lena kissed Daphne again which she eagerly returned and soon they were in Daphne's room and on her bed.
Lena seem to be purring for that was the only thing Daphne could call it. "How are you doing that?" Lena smiling raised a eyebrow. "Uhm what?"
"The purring thing. I can hardly focus on breathing while your making a sound that can rival thunder." Lena chuckled. "You admitting I leaving you breathless Suger?"
Lena eyebrows move up and down like saying. "Hun Hun." Daphne giggled. "I totally walked into that didn't I?" Lena pulled Daphne to her again. "Yes you did Sugar." They returned to the making out. It didn't go so far that they were only in their birthday suits but quite a lot of skin was exposed and some hickey were given but the two didn't care.
The next morning before the sun rose Daphne woke and by the light of the moon saw Lena's face which had tears running down it. "Hey what's wrong?" She asked whipping the tears away. Lena mange to say. "Just remembering old memories." Daphne thought about her dreams. "Do you want to talk about it?" Lena took a deep breath. "Actually after we eat breakfast I want to show you something."
"Ok." Said Daphne attempting to get up but Lena with surprising strength pulled her back down. "We have at least 4 hours before sunrise we can make breakfast then." Daphne got a feeling that Lena wanted to hold her as long as she can before revealing her secret. "Alright." Then Daphne kiss Lena slowly. She couldn't get enough and she told herself not to judge Lena for whatever secret she was going to share.
After breakfast Lena showed Daphne a secret trap door and lead her through a dirt tunnel using a lantern for light.
Soon they were in a stone room. Where a statue of a cat stood, a sundial and a skylight.
"What is this place?" Asked Daphne. "It's a shrine to our cat god that we worship over two hundred years ago." Said Lena and Daphne look at her.
"I know you been having dreams of our past life Daphne. Seeing what we were before MoonScar." Daphne might have denied it but didn't. "What happened?" Lena growled like a cat. "Morgan MoonScar." Lena held out a hand to Daphne who took it and immediately had a vision of what happened.
It was during a harvest moon. The settlers of the island were attacked by a pirate with a scar looking like a moon on his face. He and his crew chase the settlers including the other Daphne into the swamp where crocodiles attack. Only Lena survived and watch unable to do anything. Then they were in the shrine where Lena in her grief begged the cat god to curse the pirates to destroy them. The Lena became a cat creature and destroyed the pirates. But found out afterwards that she need to drain life force from victims on her island to keep her immortal up. Turning them into undead zombies that try to scare fresh victims away.
Though Daphne saw the time Lena was going let herself die hating that she had to kill to live and not being with her beloved. But the cat god gave her message. Telling her that she would be reunited with her beloved who would free her from the curse during the Blood Harvest Moon a very rare thing.
The vision ended and both women gazed at each other. Lena waiting for Daphne to run away screaming. But instead.
"Show me your cat form." Requested Daphne and after a moment of hesitation Lena transform into the cat monster that killed so many people over the last 200 years. Daphne gazed at her but didn't feel any fear. "What about the love potion?" Lena gave a small cat smiled. "Fake. I didn't want to force you to fall in love with me. I wanted it to be real like it was 200 years ago." Daphne nodded and was glad she did that for her.
"I have my own life beyond this island Lena."
"And I want to join you in it!" Said Lena surprising Daphne.
Lena looked down. "During the Blood Harvest Moon we can perform the special ritual that will free me from this curse and bind me to you Daphne. So when you died I will also die… But if you don't want anything to do with a monster like me, all I ask that tomorrow night when that line on the moon dial past the peak, you hold me in your arms as I die. Allow me to die in the arms of the woman I love." There was silence for awhile. "Please just think about it."
Another dream came that night.
Daphne watch the scene which was a wedding both her past self and Lena stand in front of the cat statue saying their vows before kissing each other which made Daphne's heart flutter. Then she found herself face to face with her past self.
Daphne stared at her past self no words pass between them only a understanding.
When Daphne woke the next morning she not having Lena next to her and throughout the day the dark hair woman was respecting her space. Daphne decided to give her answer tonight.
Time Skip
"You came." Said Lena as Daphne entered the shrine holding a knife. Seeing it Lena didn't look surprised probably thinking Daphne killing her would mean still spending her last night with the reborn love of her life. But that's not what Daphne had in mind as she grabbed Lena's left wrist.
After kiss Lena's palm like she did during their first night together, Daphne did a shallow cuts on both their left hands that In their past life held their wedding rings. Daphne look right into Lena's eyes. "Fred is the beast not you. And I refuse to let you suffer anymore my love."
Understanding Lena smiling then began the ritual as the harvest moon began turning red. [MAY WE BE BOUND BY THREADS OF SILVER.] They clasped their left hands together between them as their bodies press together. Foreheads touching and their right hands held each other's faces. [MAY WE BE BOUND BY ROOTS OF BLOOD.] chanted Daphne. [MAY WE BE TIED BY FAULSE HOLLY.] Said Lena both their eyes closed. Both felt their bodies turn into cat creatures yet they kept going.
[MAY WE BE HELD TOGETHER BY GREEN IVY.] The Next words they said together as one. [SEVEN SWITCHES OF YEW, SEVEN TIMES KNOTTED.] The sounds of the undead zombie victims drew closer but they didn't stop as they said the last part.
[BOUND TILL OUROBOROS LET'S GO OF HIS TAIL.] To a outside watcher like the zombies both cat women glowed in the blood moon. Then as they kissed there was a flash of light and the Zombies began crumbling finally at peace as the curse was lifted and Daphne and Lena returned to their human forms yet keep kissing each other.
"I can still feel that I can become a cat creature." Said Lena. "But I feel the connection between us which means the ritual work." Daphne smiled. "Your free and here with me Sugar." Lena smiled as well. "Thank you my love and I hope one day I can prove worthy of your hand in marriage-…" Daphne puts a finger on the dark hair woman's lips. "Between you and Sir Fred even if you were a lover of killing I would choose you every time because your faithful. He is not. Now how about you can show me the things you use to do to give my past self pleasure in bed." Lena grinned a cat like grin.
Time Skip
Arriving at the docks of the town they said goodbye to Jacques who wished them well and said he was happy for Lena to finally be free. They returned to the town of Coolsville. When they arrived they were met by Daphne's parents. "Who this?" Asked Barty Blake. "This is Lena." Said Daphne taking Lena's hand in hers. "My fiancé." Daphne waited for her parents to explode, to forbid her and Lena and that she must marry Fred. But Nan Blake step forward and embrace Lena. "Welcome to the family Lena."
"Better her then Fred." Said Barty. Nan pulled away from Lena. "Yeah especially when only yesterday did try to seduce me!" Her voice angry. "If had to be with another man with Barty permission I would go with your friend Shaggy again or even his dog Scooby because they got game and manners."
Daphne blushed at her mom's words once catching her and Shaggy years ago before he met Crystal. At least he good to her. Barty laughed. "True on that. But I doubt Fred isn't going to try to seduce you Lena or try to get back with you Daph."
"Oh I have a way." Said Daphne her voice a growl like a cat.
Two days later Fred came for a visit.
Daphne was in the barn with Lena taking care of the horses. Thank to their cat like ears they heard Fred coming and put their plan into action. Using cat like reflexes Daphne jump to the rafters. While Lena went to brushing down one of the horses. Fred Jones entered and immediately spotted Lena. Going over to the stall Fred lean against it.
"Hey there baby. New in town?" He said in a flirty voice that made Daphne want to slash his throat open with her claws. "Yes I arrived two day ago and staying with the Blakes." Said Lena continuing to brush the horse. "I'm Fred." Introduced Fred. "Sir Fred Jones."
"Madame Lena Dupree." Said Lena not looking at the blonde.
"You know there's a special way to brush a horse." Said Fred not noticing Lena turning the horse towards the stall opening. "Oh yeah?" Asked Lena playing along. "Yeah let me show you." Said Fred and he was about to hop the stall when Lena said. "Use the door!"
"Whatever the lady wishes." Said Fred going to the gate. "There a wish I want Bruno here to fulfill." Said Lena as Fred opened the gate to enter. "What's that?" Asked Fred. "This." Said Lena and slapped Bruno's rear causing him to kick Fred right in the chest and sending him flying back into a wall. "Thank you Bruno." Said Lena kissing the horse muzzle before leaving the stall. "Sorry Sugar but I'm already with someone."
"Who?" Asked Fred groggily. Daphne jump down next to Lena. "Me." Fred attempted to compose himself even with wind still out of him. "Daphne i glad your back from your trip."
"Glad to see you too asshole. I see you met my fiancé Lena." Fred eyes widen. "Fiancé?!"
"What you thought you were my only one!" Daphne spat on the ground. "I met someone far better then you Fred. Someone who actually give a damn about me and who I love beyond anything." Daphne kissed Lena cheek. Before glaring back at Fred. "You know cats are very territorial and don't like others touching their stuff!"
Daphne morph into her werecat form grabbing Fred throat to stop him from screaming. "Let's make something very clear Freddy!" Growled Daphne. "We are through and will never be again!"
"If you come close you to Lena then your going get something far worse then what your going get for trying to seduce my mom!" Fred gulped. "I'll second that if you come close to Daphne, Freddy boy!" Growled Lena. "What do you mean worse then flirting with Nan?"
"This!" Roared Daphne and five minutes later Fred found his armor and clothes off tied to his horse in a way so he couldn't hide himself or his little self. "Mom right Shaggy got more game then you." Said Daphne as she and Lena back to their regular forms whispered to Fred's horse. And when released instead heading towards Fred's house the horse took the long way right through the middle of town for all to see.
"That should get the message across." Said Daphne and then waved at her other friends Velma her girlfriend Marcie Fleach or Hot Dog Water, Shaggy his girlfriend Crystal, Scooby and his mate Amber. (In this Crystal and Amber are regular people but with the ability to turn into their alien forms but more like a were creature. Shaggy and Scooby know and don't care. Love.)
Daphne actually wonder as the group aproceh whether or not Scooby and Amber would immediately hate her and Lena being cats. But that hope was dashed aside when Scooby jumped on Daphne and started licking her like mad. "So you don't mind me being a cat?" Whispered Daphne to Scooby. "Rnope!" Said Scooby immediately before returning to licking.
Later after explaining everything to the others Velma said. "I wonder what next thing is going to happen in York." To which Lena taking Daphne's hand said. "Whatever happens Sugar. We'll do it all together." Daphne smiled squeezing Lena's hand. "Without Fred in the picture." Everyone one agreed with her.
