A/N:Helloooo, it's nice to see you again! I hope y'all are doing good. Anyways, sorry for the wait again school is such a drag but i still managed to come up a chapter! Enjoy!
6 months had passed and for Jiraiya to say atleast. It had been the happiest months, being surrounded with some overwhelming feeling.
June 21, the summer has started and began to spread it's heated magic around Konoha. People couldn't help but whine in unison as they could feel the heat wrapping itself around them. Though, summer is a great way to start a relaxing beach vacation. Not for the Ninjas though.
Thud
A soft thud came as Tsunade leaned her back on her office chair in relief. She just finished stamping some files and couldn't help but feel the urge of getting out of the office and go to the marketplace to grab a bottle of a cold sake, as it is so hot. Though, that won't be necessary because there's still a little girl who needs her. She already tied her hair up into a tight bun just to somehow feel 'fresh' and discarded her green haori off of her body but it seems to be not working, it's still hot.

The door has suddenly gently opened, revealing her trusty brunette apprentice and-
"Sorry for bothering you Tsunade-sama, but.." Shizune looked at the crying babe in her embrace as she walks towards the Godaime Hokage. "She wouldn't stop crying, so i decided to take her to you because i figured out that, maybe, she needs you."
Tsunade looked at her daughter with nothing but a blue face as she picks her up from Shizune's hold before cooing at her, "There, there. Momma's here."
She stood up from her chair, facing the big windows as she began to move side to side. The sky seems to be more vibrant and the sun too, it's like a giant ball flame. And that was when the office became quiet. So quiet that you could heared yourself breath and that was because Shion had stopped crying.
"She stopped crying." Shizune exclaimed, charcoal eyes gleaming in amusement and excitement.
A smile graced Tsunade's lips once she looked down to her daughter. Her amber eyes were still filled a little with her tears and her soft tiny lips were shaped up into an 'ooohh' as she looked through the window. She has been mesmerized by the view of the village. It was no doubt a beautiful sight to see.
"Looks like she's fascinated." Tsunade said as she warmly looked to her daughter in her embrace.
Shizune let out a soft giggle, "Yes, maybe because you rarely take her out of the compound so she really would be fascinated at some littlest things around the village."
"It's just a little uncomfortable to me for everyone to be looking at her where ever she goes and something more that makes me really uncomfortable." Tsunade stated, brushing a strand of white hair off of her daughter's face.
All that Shizune could respond is a sigh. She knew that her dear mentor is scared for her daughter's sake, she could see it in her. The way she talks about her, the way she worriedly looks at her, and the way her embrace around her tightens-
Shizune let out a quiet gasp. She looked at Tsunade that's now starting to hum a lullaby at the baby on her arms. The light in the office is very dim but she couldn't really explain at why Tsunade seems to be glowing. Is it just maybe because she's infront of the windows? Or not? She couldn't really tell, but for the first time in years...
...she could feel the overflowing happiness Tsunade radiates. Some things really had changed and some people too. Shizune smiled as she spoke in her mind, "You did great, Tsunade-sama."
Tsunade suddenly snapped out from her musings, she turned around to face Shizune. She was smiling at them. "Uhm Shizune?"
"Huh? What?" Shizune snapped out, blushing as she was caught.
"Why are you just standing there? I thought you're gonna organize the files?"
Shizune sheepishly laughed as she scratch the back of her head, "I-it's nothing! I'm gonna organize these up."
It's now night time in Konoha. The moon above the sky illuminated the whole village.
"Are you sure you don't want any help?" Shizune asked, standing outside of the Hokage Tower with the Godaime Hokage.
Tsunade shook her head and gave Shizune a slight pat on her left shoulder, "Yes, i'm fine. You should go home and take a rest, you deserve it."
"A-alright, but if you need anything just call me."
"Yes, yes, now go." Tsunade said as she push Shizune as a sign to get moving.
Once Shizune said her goodbye, Tsunade also started to walk through the familiar street that leads to the Senju Compound. Everything is quiet, just how she likes and needed it. It's been a tough day for her and a quiet surrounding is a great start to relax and loosen the tensions in her. The way wasn't that dark as some lanterns were turned on.
After passing the market place, she's now walking near the lake. She could hear the water streaming and some crickets singing. And that was when she sensed someone looking at her. She looked down and saw her daughter's amber eyes that's gleaming under the moon staring at her. The soft and gentle suckle of her pacifier reached Tsunade's ear. It wasn't irritating to say at least, it's kinda nice.
Her embrace around her daughter tightened a little. She continued to stare at the babe's eyes. She looked so comfortable in her arms, maybe to the fact that her green haori is wrapped around her tiny body.
Tsunade smiled at her and craned her head up so she could look at the stars and the moon. "Isn't the night lovely, my dear?"
The stars twinkled more and the moon seemed to brighten up more. She didn't get any response from Shion but she knew that she understands her. And without realizing it, she started humming a song everyone well knew. Then the hum turned into a singing one.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star..." She started singing so serene and gracefully like a child's lullaby. She could tell that she caught her daughter's attention as she could sense her eyes staring up at her again.
"How i wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky.." She closed her eyes, still tilting her head up the night sky as she feels every melody. "Twinkle, twinkle, little star.."
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How i wonder what you a-"
"AHA!!" A sudden voice came, startling the blonde teenage girl from her singing.
She looked behind her and saw none other than her idiot of a teammate, Jiraiya. "J-jiraiya?!"
Jiraiya smirked as he walks towards her. He sat beside the flushed Tsunade. "Been singing Twinkle little star i see?"
"Why do you even care?" Tsunade grunted, crossing her arms over her chest as she slump her shoulders down.
He chuckled and gazed up at the stars and moon. "I'm not gonna tease you, ya' know. I'm just asking. So what's up with you?"
She didn't answered him, she just sat in there while gazing up at the stars.
"You miss Nawaki huh?"
She snapped out from her mussings, she looked to Jiraiya with nothing but with a face of complete disbelief and shock. "How did you know?"
"It's really obvious-"
BAM
"YOU IDIOT!! IF IT'S OBVIOUS THEN WHY ARE YOU ASKING?!"
Jiraiya groaned as he soothe the pain away on the back of his head that he got from Tsunade's punch. "Okay, okay sorry. No need to be harsh, geez."
"Hmph!" Tsunade crossed her arms again and slump her shoulders down with a frown plastered on her face.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How i wonde-"
"EHH?!" Tsunade exclaimed in shock.
Jiraiya averted his gaze from the sky and focused it to her. He arched a brow up, "What?"
"I thought you don't like the song!"
He chuckled at her. "Who said i don't like it? It's really nice to sing songs like this one ya' know." He turned his gaze up at the stars again, "Especially at a time like this."
Tsunade giggled and leaned her body against his as she decided to go with the flow with him.
"Twinkle, twinkle little star..."
They started singing as if they're some kindergarteners.
"..How i wonder what you are,"
People may think that it's so immature for adults and teenagers to sing a child's song but...
"...Up above the world so high,"
...once you took it to heart, you'll understand why does it feels so great to sing it.
"...like a diamond in the sky."
Every song has a deep meaning or a message. Every song is a masterpiece. It's lyrics and melody are hard to make. Every song takes so long to make, so never judge every bit of it. Just like the two members of the Legendary Three...
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How i wonder what..."
"You are."
Tap
Tsunade stopped walking as soon as she's already infront of their front door. She immediately unlocked the door when she heared Shion yawn. It seems that she also had a long day.
She pushed the door open and was welcome with darkness. She expected a deep voice welcoming her home but she remembered that Jiraiya was away from the village because he just took a mission. Of course, she protested at first but after a long 'i'll be okay' 'don't worry, i'll be safe on the way' session, he managed to woo her. Yay.
She went straight up to her bedroom as she didn't planned to stay up all night in the living room as she's already so worn out from work.
Thud
A soft thud sounded as Tsunade placed Shion on the soft surface of the bed.
"Stay here for a minute okay? Mommy will just change into her night gown." With the words spoken, Tsunade turned around and walked towards the bathroom to change after kissing her daughter's forehead.
A slight whimper from Shion stopped her. She knew that she wouldn't like it, but it wouldn't hurt to try right? Shion really is not the type of a baby whose okay being left alone for a minute.
"I know, i know, you don't like it but mommy needs to change." She cooed before kissing her forehead again. "I promise it will be quick."
Shion made a sound of protest again but it was stop when Tsunade showed her the teddy bear Jiraiya got her when they went out for shopping. And her prediction is right, her eyes sparkled upon seeing the stuffed toy. Tsunade stood up and made her way to the bathroom as she took the opportunity to change into her night gown as Shion is still distracted. She was about to enter the bathroom when something stopped her that sent shivers to her spine and sent goose bumps to all over her body.
"Shion.." She slowly turned around so she could look at her daughter that's laying on the bed. "...what did you just said?"
Her heart is hammering against her chest. There was a knot in her stomach that she couldn't quite explain, but what she heared is what she heared.
"Mama."
In the outskirts of the Hidden Sand village, under the sparkling stars and glowing moon, Jiraiya sat on the edge of a cliff as he gaze up at the stars.
Just like in Konoha, the surrounding is quiet and all you can hear is the crickets and the gush of the winds. And his whispers.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How i wonder wha-"
Poof
He snapped out from his own world when a small smoke suddenly appeared beside him. He sighed and fanned the smoke away so he can see what it's in it. A scroll appeared. He looked at it confusedly and just thought that it's probably from the village, of course. Unlocking the seal a small paper and a camera recorder appeared. Oh now he's really confuse. He picked the paper up and began to read it.
"Watch the new video in the recorder. From Tsunade." He read. He opened the recorder and went to the videos. "What's with her sending me things like this at a time like this? Must be important? I guess?"
The video started loading at the count of 5 the video has started-
"Say hi." Tsunade said behind the camera as she's the one filming while the camera is focused on their daughter.
Jiraiya couldn't help but smile and chuckle at the same time. "They miss me this much?"
Shion was looking up at the camera confusedly, not knowing why is her mother filming her.
"Come on, say it again." Tsunade giggled.
Jiraiya's brows knitted in confusion again. "What's with these two?"
"Tell dada what you just said earlier. Come on don't be shy." Tsunade happily cooed.
Shion's expression were still a confuse one. "Dada-"
"IIIHHHH YOU JUST SAID YOUR SECOND WORD!!" Tsunade exclaimed, scaring the baby a little. "Are you hearing this, 'Dada'?"
Tsunade was all caught up to what just happened and didn't realize that she startled her child, scaring her in the process. Shion has began whining, ready to cry but she said a word that made Tsunade yelp in happiness.
"Mama."
(Video end.)
Swoosh
A wind blew pass the froze up Sannin. He couldn't move or utter a single word. What just happened? Things are going so fast and he's still processing things. He finds himself struggling to breath. His heart is pounding so fast against his chest and the sound of it were echoing through his ears.
Dada...
...dada..
...dada..
"Dada."
"Dada." He whispered as his lips his curved up in a smile. The word feels so right. It feels so good to hear it from his child, it's like a melody.
He's smile grew wide as he tilt his head up with his eyes close.
"Dada..."
