Previously on Dragon Ball: Lifelines, Marlene faced her second opponent in the West City Grand Tournament, a Ninja named Nasku who was unfortunately not very good at fighting and was defeated fairly easily. After the battle, Marlene met the large fighter Tuger who was obviously not very bright but definitely had some sort of strength. Will Marlene beat Tuger? Find out now on Dragon Ball: Lifelines!

Marlene woke up from yet another match and looked around the waiting room expecting to see her next opponent. "Huh... I guess I woke up early." She said as She began doing leg stretches to prepare. Midway through one of her stretches She was surprised by somebody being thrown through the door to the waiting room. Followed by the injured person was Tuger, who instantly turned his attention to Marlene. "Hey. It's Your turn. This guy kinda broke." Tuger said. "Is He even... Alive?" Marlene asked as She saw that the person on the floor was barely recognizable with all the broken bones and blood. "We can't kill in the Tournament dummy. I think." Tuger said with a shrug. "Now are ya coming or am I dragging You out?" He asked. "Yeah, Yeah I'm comin' dude." Marlene said following Tuger out to the arena.

"Ladies and Gentlemen it appears Tuger is back with his new opponent! It appears it is gonna be Tuger vs Marlene Kruger this time folkes!" The Announcer exclaimed. Marlene got in her corner of the arena and began thinking. She had no idea what Tuger had going for him other than raw strength, so She was honestly kind of scared. Tuger on the other hand was on his side of the Arena chugging a bottle of water, excited for the match clearly. "And now... Fight!" The Announcer said, starting the battle. Marlene took her stance and waited for Tuger's move, She wanted to see what exactly Tuger does before She made any moves. Tuger simply put on a stupid grin and took a strange position. "Uh... What is that f-" Before Marlene could finish her sentence, Tuger had already grabbed her by the neck and was in front of her. "Impact Slammer!" Tuger exclaimed as He slammed Marlene into the Arena floor extremely hard.

It was such a powerful slam that Marlene actually made a hole in the floor. Marlene laid in the hole, twitching and unable to move. Instead of screaming in pain though, or passing out, She was thinking. "How the hell did He get to Me so quickly? I didn't even see him move." Marlene thought to herself. "Hey lady! You getting up?" Tuger asked as He looked down at her. Marlene of course got up slowly, dusting herself off. "Alright... You pack quite a punch Toger." Marlene said.

"Toger? My name is Tuger." Tuger said, confused. "Right... Tuger. Got it." Marlene said as She cracked her knuckles. "Time to get a little more serious." Marlene said as She launched a punch directly into Tuger's abs. Before Marlene could even register that her punch didn't land, her arm was broken and She was back on the floor. Marlene bottle up all of the pain and didn't scream, though anybody who looked at her face could clearly tell that She was ready to burst.
She continued thinking, trying to figure out how Tuger works. "Dude literally broke my arm and I didn't even see him move. How am I supposed to fight this?" Marlene thought to herself as She held her arm. "Well... Time to see if this works." Marlene said to herself as She started messing with her arm. Miraculously, She put her arm back in place. "Eh? You think that'll fix it?" Tuger asked as He saw her do this. "Not really..." Marlene said as She resumed her stance.

"I'm one arm down and I haven't even landed a hit. Great start Mar." Marlene thought to herself as She watched Tuger. Tuger rushed toward Marlene, and this time Marlene actually saw Tuger run. Or at least She did for a second before She was slapped onto the floor. "Well at least I could see him... Maybe if I can keep going I'll be able to track his movements." Marlene thought to herself. "Tuger, come on man is slapping really needed?" Marlene asked as she held her cheek that was slapped and got back up. "Sorry. Just trying to win." Tuger said, surprisingly actually being sorry. Marlene ran at Tuger as fast as She could, but before She was about to reach him She saw him dash behind her. Before Marlene was able to turn around, Tuger slammed both of his fists down onto her back. Marlene landed face first on the arena floor and kept trying to strategize. "I can see him for a moment... I don't know why I can, but I just can. I just need to keep going so I can see him longer." Marlene thought to herself as She got back up.

"You don't like to stay down huh?" Tuger said, smiling. "Let Me put You on the ground for good this time." Tuger said as He ran toward Marlene and punched her in the gut. The punch was so powerful that Marlene was launched upward. "Tuger's Impact Barrage!" Tuger exclaimed as He launched a flurry of 20 punches within five seconds, leaving Marlene on the ground with blood coming out of her mouth. "Can I even beat this guy if I can see him?" Marlene thought to herself as She coughed up more blood. Will Marlene be able to survive long enough to beat Tuger? Or will She lose the Tournament in her third fight?
