Chapter 5 - Epilogue
Optimus and Kelly had grown so close together; the remarkable thing was Optimus' spark had merged with her heart bonding them together forever. Optimus had loved her so much, something he would never give up never!
The two had become inseparable; they might have been a different species but, in a way, were the same. It was true one made from flesh and blood and one made of metal, but both held emotions and love.
Kelly jumped when her cell phone rang, and she saw it was her father.
"Oh great, my dad," Kelly muttered.
She sighed and answered.
"Hey, Dad, what's up?" she asked.
"Oh, I don't know; please tell me you're not making it with some alien robot," Tony demanded.
Kelly's anger peaked them.
"That is not any of your business," she snapped.
"It is when that government group Cemetery Wind comes knocking at the Avengers headquarters," Tony said as she realized what he was doing.
He didn't know where the log cabin was in the woods, and now he would trace it and would lead Cemetery Wind right to them!
"You're leading those bastards right to him; I can't believe you, Dad!" she yelled as she hung up on him and turned her phone off.
"We're going to find Dr. Strange and have him get the three of us out of here; my dad can't be trusted," Kelly said as both Haley and Optimus looked at her.
Optimus looked away; he started to break once more; he loved this human. He didn't want to lose her.
"I lose everything that means anything to me," he whispered as Kelly narrowed her eyes at him.
"Shut up!" she exclaimed as he frowned and gazed at her.
"I beg your pardon?" he questioned.
"You belong to me, and no one is taking you from me or hurting you. Do you understand what I am saying to you, Optimus?" she asked as he slowly nodded.
"They killed my friends and human allies..." Optimus said.
Silence...
"I don't want to lose you," he whispered.
"You won't," she said.
"What makes this time different?" he asked.
"You didn't have your protector then," Haley said.
"Who is this protector?" Optimus asked as he glanced at Kelly and saw her hands glowing.
"Me," she said. "I believe that Dr. Strange brought you here because he saw this and knew after we would be going somewhere else with you," she said as she walked up to him and kissed him.
The kiss strengthened as they unexpectedly heard a cough, and standing there, Dr. Strange.
"You figured it out you're a lot smarter than your dad gives you credit for," Strange said.
"Yeah, well, dad really doesn't like me; he pretends to, but I wasn't a boy," Kelly said.
"How the hell can you say that? Why are you with this guy who really isn't a man at all?" Tony shouted.
"Your remarks are enough; when this is over, we're leaving. I am done, dad. I love Optimus, and if you can't accept him. I am done with you and the Avengers," she remarked as she looked at Optimus' holoform because he winced, and the holoform disappeared as they heard weapons going off.
Optimus had been taken off-guard, and Savoy had his men firing at him; when Kelly got side, it was like a tidal wave hit her. She got outside; her eyes turned bright glowing blue, and her hands glowed as she took out every single Cemetery Wind member except Savoy, who seemed to be swiftly afraid of the girl.
"Alright enough," Savoy snapped his hands up.
"Leave," was all she said.
"Dormammu, get me out of here!" Savoy shouted.
Tony walked up to his daughter.
"We need to talk," Tony started to say until Kelly put her hand up as she saw Vision and Dr. Strange help Optimus.
"I am done talking, dad; you led them here to kill Optimus," she said as Optimus looked despairingly at Tony as he spat out energon.
"I didn't trust, Savoy!" Tony shouted.
"Really? Is that why you led him right to Optimus?" Kelly demanded.
"I made a mistake, alright? I'm not perfect, Kelly," Tony remarked.
Kelly watched Dr. Strange and Vision helping Optimus as Haley walked up to her best friend.
"You two might want to pack whatever you are bringing to where I will transport you," Dr. Strange said from he was standing helping Optimus as Captain Marvel smiled sadly at Kelly.
"What? I get no second chances. I'm your father; I made a mistake," Tony said. "Being a parent is not an exact science, alright," Tony remarked.
Silence...
Tony glanced at Strange and then walked over toward him and pulled him aside to talk privately.
"I can't lose my kid; look his troops and human friends. Can they be brought back into this realm?" Tony asked.
"Yes," Strange said.
"Bring them back, I will talk to him and Kelly," Tony said.
Tony talked to Kelly and Optimus, giving his blessing for the relationship, not that they needed it. NEST had a side building next to the Avengers headquarters for their group, but they were also a part of the Avengers. Sam and Mikaela lived with the Avengers along with Wheelie and Brains.
Kelly and Optimus had gotten married, and soon after that, Kelly was pregnant, but Optimus was sparked, and trying to explain that to Tony and his Avengers was humorous.
"He's what?" Tony asked.
Laughter could be heard all over, and the fact that Optimus would be carrying for over a year was crazy to the female Avengers. Plus, the fact, the more Optimus wanted to interface with his wife and try different things.
Haley would talk to Wanda about it, and Tony overheard and walked out of the room.
"I don't want to hear this. I am leaving the room," Tony said.
While somewhere in Kelly and Optimus' bedroom, they were curled up together.
"I love you," Optimus said.
"I love you more," she whispered.
The End of the story...
