A/n There is much more revision in this chapter.

Eddie followed the small trickle trail of blood with his eyes and that's when he saw the fire burning in the tanker's engine. The tanker was about an 1/8 of a mile farther down the road. The large vehicle wasn't smashed through the railing but it was scraping the rail harshly.

"Cap, fire in the tanker's engine!" Bobby snapped orders and the firefighters all ran to go do their various jobs, taking out fire extinguishers, directing traffic away from the accident as the cops were stuck in traffic themselves. Eddie decided to continue looking for Buck when out of the chaos somebody shouted.

"Hey, heyyyyyyyy! Over here! Their hurt!" The voice came from the grass on the other far side of the big tanker blocked from view. Coincidently, as Eddie ran over with his eyes frozen on the the trail of blood that led to the tanker and then stopped as the asphalt met dirt and grass.

Eddie looked up while he was in front of the stopped tanker and noticed immediately at the top of a small hill were figures. He ran as fast as he could up the small hill and stopped dead in his tracks at the sight. Buck with blood still trickling from a big gash on the side of his head, several large ugly looking bruises forming on his sleeveless arms and peeking out from under his collar, was straddling a large pot-bellied man. Buck's cut up hands were interlaced and pushing down on the man's chest rapidly, counting out loud a number each time be pressed down.

He was doing CPR. Buck, was hurt himself and yet was doing CPR on a man much larger and heavier than he was. Knowing Buck, Eddie guessed that Buck was probably the one to pull the driver out of the wrecked tanker as well. Eddie wanted to laugh at just how much of a real, life hero Buck was but reality set in and Eddie filed the laughter away till he and Buck could laugh together.

Preferably with Chris at either one of their homes watching a cheesy movie that Chris had already seen a hundred times, because neither of them were impervious to Chris's puppy dog eyes, just chilling out together.

Like…As Eddie thought of it a dozen different names swirled round his head but the one that popped out at him was Brothers and to Chris, Buck was an Uncle/ big brother. Eddie mentally smiled at the thought of Buck being his brother... Mainly because that was exactly what he was. A grunt of pain from Buck pulled him back to the present. "Buck. Buck! Evan, buddy I got it."

Eddie tapped, then shook Buck's shoulder until Buck's baby blue, unfocused, eyes tried to focus on him. "E-Eddie?"

The hope, desperation, utter relief that sounded in Buck's voice made Eddie lose his voice for a second. I'm sorry I took so long baby brother.

"Y-Yeah buddy its me. I'm here." Buck's eyes looked at him, but the gaze was far away, still unfocused and when he spoke, he sounded like he was about to pass out.

"I'm glad." Chim and Hen arrived just as Buck's arm's stopped pumping and he started falling over to the side, stopped only by Eddie's arms as he lunged for Buck.

Eddie gently pulled him into his arms before laying him down flat on the grassy hill. Hen checked the driver's pulse while Chimney put a mask pumping oxygen over Buck's mouth and nose. Eddie looked questionably at Hen and sighed when she shook her head, removed her gloved hand from the potbellied man's neck and said "He's dead Eddie."
