I don't own of the characters other than the bullshit name I pulled out my ass so Nifty can have more friends. Nifty and the rest of the characters belong to Vizziepop and her team.
"Nifty, I know you're nervous and stressed but I promise everything's going to be fine. Today is an important day. Try not to worry about controlling or cleanliness today…. And for fuck's sake stay still before I burn your hair." Nifty sat straighter and tried to listen. Vaggie was wearing brand new never used gloves while doing Nifty's hair. She forced everyone who helped with anything to wear gloves, or wash their hands. Nifty was grateful for that. She had a few friends. A girl called Jewels was her maid of honor, Charlie and two other girls were bridesmaids. Vaggie had helped with the planning(more so keeping things on track and doing her best to accommodate Nifty's and Husk's different opinions). After a few moments she hummed. "Don't touch your hair or face. You look beautiful. I'm going to check on the last of the details, and then the boys. When everything's ready, I'll be back with Alastor and take you out to him after I'm certain everyone else is in place. You're gonna be fine, I promise." She turned and walked out the door but paused for only the briefest moment without looking, "Charlie, no drinking before the ceremony." Nifty watched Charlie pout but she set down the wine bottle and gave Nifty a huge encouraging smile. Nifty laughed but she sat trying not to be anxious.
"She's right, you do beautiful and knows everything. Don't doubt her." Charlie encouraged. Nifty just nodded while she watched the other girls get help each other get ready. She doesn't know what strings Charlie pulled to have the wedding in her family's party house as Charlie referred to it but she was thankful. The ceremony was to take place in a room that almost looked like a church alter but in deep red and she supposed lighting the candles have not so holy purpose too. Husk went to light one when they first toured the venue with Charlie, her mother and Vaggie; Charlie quickly stopped him and told him he just shouldn't do that. All three women had a different response; Charlie slight embarrassment, Vaggie seemed lost somewhere unknown, and Lilith was a mix of amusement and disappointment. She remembered hearing Charlie and her mother hushed arguing about not removing the candles. The ceremony will take place in a ballroom that over looks an amazing garden. Nifty is trying to be patient but something has to be wrong. It's taking too long. She tries to breath through and talk herself out of bad thoughts. He didn't change his mind, Alastor didn't kill him for thinking about it. Everything going to be fine. She feels like she repeated herself a million times before Charlie checks her phone and tells the other girls it's time. They each offer some form of encouragement as they leave. After what feels like centuries Vaggie comes in, placing her veil in her hair, taking her silk robe off of her and leading her into the hall. Alastor joins arms with her. The size difference makes it a little awkward but the procession starts. She instead of focusing on all her nerves she notes the mysterious red candles are gone. She lets herself dwell on that instead of everything that could go wrong. They walk pass a bunch of people who watch her. What the candles do? She walks pass someone who sneezes. She flinches and then the candles smelt really good. It smells nice in here but not candle nice. The room is lit by a crystal chandelier with red droplets that look like blood.
"Smile, Natasha, we're proud of you." Alastor says before handing her off to Husker. She smiles through her viel; she's grateful no one but Husk can see her face because she is quietly laughing. He's wearing that stupid suit Alastor and Angel forced him in the night of their first date. He smiles at her and then starts his vows.
"In the entirety of my time in hell, I have only been sober twice. Once by force and again today. When Charlie said that night I should be sober, because it could be the start of something special and a better after life, I was certain she was on something better than what Angel was. I never imagined she'd be right. A year later and here we are in a place I never imagined I would be in existed. Two years with you and I'm finding myself being taken to the most amazing places with you. You've challenged how I perceived what death. I spent my afterlife up to this point being bitter about my life and damned. I let go of a life that's not wroth remembering. I let go of my bitterness at being sent here. When we first arrived at the hotel Charlie told me I would love it in there, I told her I lost the ability to love. Somehow with your need to put things where they belong, you found it. I would like to spend the rest of eternity thanking you for finding and returning my ability to love." He finishes and her laughs have turned to tears. She hesitates. Her vows aren't that good. She wished she was better at this.
"I spent time in life bouncing from people who would never love me, which is how I ended up here. I kept doing that for nearly 40 years. I knew something about you was different. Everyday I wake up with anxiety about the things I can't control, the messes that will never be clean. But it will be okay. You will walk me through it and I'm excited to have you with me. I love you." He smiles after some boring words from someone who doesn't matter (only they matter) he lifts her veil and kisses her. Everyone is watching but she can't remember who everyone is. All she knows is they're going she's going to be okay. They're going to be together forever.
