Read bottom notes( mention of death and torture)
It was foggy, the dirt path she was treading was muddy and slippery from the rain earlier in the day. Her clothes were already splattered with mud and rainwater, so there was no point in trying to carefully traverse the deteriorated tracks. In one of her hands, she clutches a fresh bouquet to her chest and a dirty brush that hangs loosely from her left hand.
The rain cooled the atmosphere, so she had slept a little more than normal but in contrast to the hour the people in the town woke up she was still an early riser.
Another dark cloud was slowly approaching the graveyard, so with that thought in mind, the woman picked up her pace, soon coming upon the familiar sight of the old and rusting gate of the graveyard. The place itself looked like a tornado had walked past it as some of the graves were shattered, and even the ones who were kept in good shape by relatives were usually knockdown by teenagers who had nothing better to do with their life.
Sighing, the woman maneuvers through the small pathways before reaching her husband's grave. The headstone itself was still in good condition besides the new pen mark that was added to the simple words engraved on the delicately cut marble.
'Harold Buttowski
1970-2013
Beloved husband and a great father of t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶c̶h̶i̶l̶d̶r̶e̶n̶ a demon'
'Although you were lost to the shadows of the world your kindness will always be remembered'
Honey grimaces at the simple but painful modification. Using the brush she had brought along, she scrubbed away the pen ink until there was nothing left. She was far past speaking to the grave, as her rambling words only made her feel more lonely, so instead, she closed her eyes and let herself be absorbed in beloved memories.
The woman knew that letting herself live in the past was detrimental to her mental health because good memories were always accomplished by the one she hated the most.
The day the love of her life lost his life.
She could feel the logical part of her brain trying to protest but it was futile as before Honey knew it, the memory was unraveling like the petals of a rose.
The mistake was on her for going to the scene. She lied to herself that at least she owned him that.
It was beyond anything humanly imaginable and she would have probably vomited if not for the cold shards of ice that course through her veins. One of his arms and the opposite leg had been torn completely off, the rest of his limbs being bent beyond any repair. His torso had been shredded to such a degree that…well, it didn't look like a person at all.
And that was something that gave her hope.
Hope that the mutilated body in front of her didn't belong to her kind husband. That belief was soon crumbled down as her eyes landed on the short, light brown hair.
She had always loved his hair so much and even attached to the shattered ruin of his face, Honey knew it was Harold. The worst part of it all were the remarkably perfect cuts that embellished his face as if the monster that had mangled her husband took delicate care in making sure his death was as painful as possible.
That was the thought that broke her, the only thing stopping her from taking her own life was the agonizing feeling of letting the rest of her family to fend on their own.
Even now, three years after the darkest day in her life, she thinks about reuniting with his husband in the afterlife but those thoughts were quickly dismissed as by ending her life, Honey would automatically lose against Ozymandias.
Rubbing out her tears she slowly picked herself back up as the sunlight that filtered through the leaves mange to break her from the trance.
Approaching the edge of the graveyard, Honey kiss the top of it before making her way out of the graveyard toward her home.
After all, she still had a family to feed and protect.

Hello once again and welcome to the fifth chapter of this story. This was no doubt a small chapter compared to the other 4 but just as important in showcasing that there still are a small number of people who are fighting against the demon of next chapter would differ from the regular since it would include the rules that the demon has followed plus some description of the demon himself so stay tuned for that.
With that said, BYE.
