Bravekit POV

"Come on Bravekit, hurry up!"

Bravekit put her tail over Savannakit's mouth. "Shh, you're gonna get us caught!" she whispered. "Be quiet!"

The two kittens snuck through the Dirtplace, and peered out at the entrance of the camp. "The coast is clear," Bravekit whispered, then motioned with her tail for Savannakit to follow. They crept out of the camp, quickly but quietly, and Bravekit sniffed the dirt for the scent of her clan. "They went this way, come on!" She said, and the two sprinted away from the camp, in the direction their clanmates had gone.

"Woah," Savannakit muttered as they approached the lake. "It's so much bigger than I thought it would be…"

"We're lucky we even made it this far," Bravekit said. "If Orangeflame had actually taken his guard post right away, we wouldn't have been able to leave the camp. Now come on," she said, leading the way along the lake shore.

Bravekit looked around, sniffing the air as she walked along the lake with her clanmate. She had never been outside the camp before, and the amount of the scents was a bit overwhelming.

"I'm so excited!" Savannakit said, as she matched Bravekit's pace. "What do you think the gathering will be like?"

"I don't know," Bravekit said, as her nervousness faded and excitement started to build up inside of her. "I bet we're gonna meet lots of cats from other clans! Maybe we can even make friends with the apprentices!"

"Do you think they'll show us some cool fighting moves?" Savannakit asked.

"Maybe they'll even show us some cool hunting techniques!" Bravekit suggested.

"Come on, let's hurry up and get there! We're falling behind!" Savannakit exclaimed, as she sped up.

Bravekit quickened her pace as well. Savannakit was a bit bigger than her, so she could travel that speed easier, but Bravekit did her best to keep up. Savannakit is big enough to pass as an apprentice, Bravekit thought. I'm smaller than her, but since I'm 5 moons old, I could probably pass as a small apprentice. And hopefully we can blend in with the other apprentices, and the ThunderClan warriors won't notice.

Bravekit continued following Savannakit, barely noticing as they passed into WindClan territory, as all the thoughts were buzzing in her head. Eventually they made it to a slippery log, which led to an island, where a multitude of cats were mixing, greeting each other with nose taps and tail waves. The whole place was abuzz with chatter, and it filled Bravekit with excitement. This is it, she thought. This is the Gathering.
