Yuuri was out of breath and stunned beyond reason. Why? Why would Victor do something like that? Small tears began pooling in his eyes.
Victor seemed shocked to see this. He pulled the other into a sitting position and then hugged him tightly. "Yuuri, I'm sorry." He didn't know what else to say.
Yuuri sat there, helpless and motionless, trying to process. Mainly, trying to forget how all of that had just felt. He couldn't. It was burned into his brain, and body, forever. "That was cruel," was all that he replied.
Victor froze. Yuuri was right. He slowly released him. Then he looked around the room, seeing all the other shocked faces, for the first time. The Russian stumbled to his feet and then left without another word.
Yuuri also rose to stand. "I'm going to turn in," he managed, before also leaving. Sarah didn't try to stop him. When he got inside the safety of his room, he swiftly closed his door and stood facing it, breathing heavily.
"Yuuri."
The Japanese almost jumped out of his skin at the sound of Victor's voice. He turned, and now that his eyes were adjusting to the darkness, he could make out the form of Victor sitting in a slumped position, on his bed. Yuuri took a calming breath. "What," he whispered.
Victor didn't know what to say. Perhaps the truth was best? "I love you, Yuuri." There. It was out, hanging between them.
"Vic-tor."
Victor raised his head, hopefully. Yuuri still cared for him! He could hear it in his tone. Victor swallowed as he stood. He crossed the small distance of the room. "Yuuri?" He questioned, when he was standing right before the one he loved.
Yuuri could not help himself. He was overcome with love for Victor. He rushed into him, wrapping tight arms around his back and neck, and struggling to bring their lips together, once more.
Victor smiled as he assisted, tenderly kissing Yuuri's hungry lips. "I am never letting you go," he said as a simple statement. A fact. Yuuri was his. Always.
The two spent a good deal of the rest of the night, getting lost in each other, exploring as lovers, exhausting themselves entirely.
The next morning found them tangled in a loving embrace, both feeling the happiest they had ever been.
