Authors Note: So I want to continue this series as one shots with different songs. I'm not sure how far I'll take it but I have some ideas bouncing around in my head. I most likely won't follow along with the show because some parts of it just tick me off. I'm going to live happily in my AU where Grissom wasn't an idiot when it came to Lady Heather and neither Grissom or Sara left. So we'll see where it takes me. I've also changed the rating due to GSR sexy times.
Disclaimer: Nope, I sadly don't own CSI or it's characters. Just taking them out to play.
Song: Let's Make a Night to Remember by Bryan Adams
"I love the way you look tonight
With your hair hanging down on your shoulders
And I love the way you dance your slow sweet tango
The way you wanna do everything but talk
And how you stare at me with those undress me eyes
Your breath on my body makes me warm inside"
It was a Thursday night. Nothing special about it. Just one of those rare nights that they both had off together. Sara spent more time at Grissom's place these days than at her apartment. When they did have time off together, they normally spent it on his couch watching old movies or locked up in his bedroom together under the sheets.
Grissom walked out of the bathroom, fresh from the shower and made his way to the closet. As he was rooting around for something to wear, he heard music coming from the kitchen. Pulling on a black V-neck shirt and worn jeans, he made his way out of the bedroom and stopped dead in his tracks.
Sara had her back to him, swaying slowly to the music as she lit candles around the room. She was wearing a pair of skimpy red shorts he loved that showed off her mile long legs. Her black tank top stopped just a few inches above the top of her shorts. She had her dark, wavy hair down and Grissom was itching to run his fingers through it.
He leaned against the counter as he continued to watch her. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever encountered in his life and sometimes, like now, he still couldn't believe that she had chosen him. He knew that Sara could have her pick of men. He also knew that Sara loved him. They didn't say the words often but they didn't need to. They proved their love to each other in their own ways.
Sara knew he was watching her. She felt him the moment he entered the room. She had always been acutely aware of him, even before they got together. She could just feel him anytime he was within her range. He was a part of her, like the other half of herself.
She finally turned around and saw him leaning against the kitchen counter, his blue eyes watching her intently. God he looked good. His curly hair was still slightly wet from his shower and he had trimmed his beard. His shirt stretched against his biceps, those jeans always did something to her and he was barefoot. She wanted to eat him alive and he knew it.
"Hi." Grissom gave her one of his smirks that he knew set her body on fire.
"Hey baby." Sara grinned as she made her way toward him. "Have a good shower?"
"Would have been better if you would have joined me." Grissom replied as he pulled her against him and nuzzled her neck.
"You can shower without me sometimes, ya know?" Sara giggled as she ran her hands through his hair.
"Mmm yes but it's so much more enjoyable when you're with me." Grissom murmured as he kissed her neck. "As well as environmentally friendly. Showering together saves water."
"I bet it does." Sara moaned as she felt Grissom's tongue on her neck.
"Let's make out - Let's do something amazing
Let's do something that's all the way
'Cause I've never touched somebody like the way I touch your body
Now I never wanna let your body go"
Grissom moved his mouth up her neck until he met her lips. He licked her lips until she opened her mouth and he slid his tongue inside to meet hers. They tasted each other, the kiss growing deeper until the need for air forced them apart. Grissom slid his hands down her back, cupping her backside through her thin shorts before he grabbed her and lifted her up on the counter. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Sara opened her legs and pulled him between them.
Grissom looked up at her and he knew that if he were to die right at that moment, he would die a happy man. Her lips were swollen from his kiss, her cheeks were flushed and she was breathless. He had never seen a more beautiful sight in his entire life.
"What is it?" Sara asked as she ran her thumb across his cheek and looked into his eyes.
"I don't know how I ever existed before you." Grissom said as he kissed her shoulder. "I wasn't truly living until I met you."
"That makes two of us." Sara whispered as she cupped his cheeks and looked into the bluest eyes she had ever seen.
Grissom brought her head down to him and captured her lips again. Their kiss immediately turned heated. Grissom inched his hand up beneath Sara's tank top and stroked the soft, bare skin of her stomach. He never got tired of touching her.
"Oh, well, I think about you all of the time
Can't you see you drive me out of my mind
Well I'm never holdin' back again
Yeah I never want this night to end
'Cause I've never touched somebody like the way I touch your body
Now I never want to let your body go"
"God Griss." Sara breathed as they broke apart for air. "You drive me crazy. I want you all the time."
"I know the feeling, baby." Grissom said as he brushed her hair back from her face. "I can't ever get enough of you. You're all I think about. You don't know how hard it is for me when we're at work and I can't touch you."
"Touch me now." Sara whispered as she took his hand and moved it up under her shirt to her breast.
Grissom took her in his hand, kneading her soft flesh as he gently kissed her again. They both kept their eyes locked on each other as they kissed slow and lazily. Grissom nipped at her bottom lip and then licked the sting away, drawing a moan from Sara. Grissom took her hand in his free one and moved it to the bulge in the front of his jeans.
"See what you do to me?" He murmured as he moved his lips to her neck. "Every single time, Sara. It's never been like this with anyone else but you. One look from you sets me on fire."
Sara grabbed his face and pulled him back up to her, plunging her tongue in his mouth. Their hands were all over each other and it was hard to tell where one of them began and the other ended. Sara pulled back long enough to pull Grissom's shirt over his head and threw it somewhere behind her. She ran her hands down his chest, loving the feel of his muscles under her hands.
"Greedy girl." Grissom smirked at her. "Tell me what you want."
"You." Sara nipped at his lips.
"What do you want me to do?" Grissom whispered as he fingered the hem of her shorts.
"Take me to bed Griss. I want you to make love to me." Sara kissed his neck and smiled into his skin as he picked her up and headed toward the bedroom.
"Let's make a night, to remember
From January, to December
Let's make love, to excite us
A memory, to ignite us
Let's make honey baby, soft and tender
Let's make sugar darlin', sweet surrender
Let's make a night, to remember, all life long"
They spent the rest of the night loving each other. When the sun came up the next morning, Grissom woke up to a sleeping Sara half on top of him. He ran his hand up and down her back as he gently kissed her forehead, taking care not to wake her. He knew this was how he wanted to wake up every single day for the rest of his life and that's exactly what he planned to do.
