Poppyfrost woke up the next morning as her kits were busy getting themselves ready for the day. Poppyfrost decided to turn on the weather as she was looking out, it looked like the storms were coming.
"Well the weather is going to start getting sour, we should keep an eye out in case the weather gets bad." Poppyfrost began as she looked around to see what they were going to do.
"I think the thirty percent chance is questionable but it's just thirty percent." Molewhisker responded as he went off to brush his teeth.
"What are we getting for breakfast?" Dovewing asked as she came from the other room.
"Yeah I bet there are a couple of places that we can go out for breakfast, we will hit the beach after this as we will make the most of this and we'll see Thunderstar and Violet Dawn for the afternoon." Poppyfrost laid her plans out. The others got out of the hotel as they knew that their plans were set, and might as well watch the weather. Blossomfall came out of the room as she began to speak.
"What are we waiting for, let's head on out." Blossomfall responded as everyone nodded. They stashed their electronics into the safe as they didn't want them to get stolen by anyone cleaning the room.
After breakfast, the cats returned back to the hotel as they knew they were going to head for the beach. Blossomfall was reading the directions on where they wanted to go.
"Beach is to the left." Blossomfall responded as they decided to start their way there. Blossomfall took the lead as Poppyfrost and the others followed up behind, they then went to the stairs and headed down the stairs to the lower floor as they were going to access it. When they reached the bottom, they found the signs heading left and right, the beach and the pool to the left.
"We're heading in the right direction." Honeyfern told them as they headed to the left, they might as well follow the directions. They continued following the signs that would say for the pool. Cherryfall turned her head to the right and spotted the gym. Honeyfern opened the door to the pool as the others followed out.
"This is the pool, are you sure we're heading in the right way?" Dovewing asked Blossomfall if she knew where she was going. Blossomfall and the others began climbing up the stairs as she was following the signs.
"Yeah we are heading in the right direction." Blossomfall responded as they were now right on the boardwalk as they were now following their way down to the beach. Molewhisker looked to his right as he spotted the gray, brown and yellow sand mixed with each other as he was heading down the stairs. They wanted to see what they wanted to do.
"So what do you want to do for today?" Ivypool asked the group as she didn't know what everyone planned on doing.
"Digging the biggest hole I could ever make. I hope the reach the ocean." Molewhisker replied as he raced off ahead. Cherryfall knew she didn't want her brother to be going off on his own.
"Wait for me!" Cherryfall responded as she raced after Molewhisker. Poppyfrost giggled as she watched her kits running off to have fun.
"Well they seem to be having fun, mind if I get the chairs?" Blossomfall asked as Poppyfrost strode out and placed her stuff down.
"Sure go ahead and get some umbrellas so we don't cook out in the sun." Dovewing responded as she decided to answer for Poppyfrost. Poppyfrost looked up as she saw the clouds gathering over to her right. It looked like it was going to rain. Might as well make the most of the time out here.
Molewhisker and Cherryfall were busy digging in the sand as they were trying to make the biggest hole they could make. They were using their paws as they didn't bring any shovels. Molewhisker stood up to see Dovewing relaxing in a beach chair with Blossomfall. Ivypool walked over to the two of them as she wanted to join in on the fun.
"Hey can I dig with you?" Ivypool asked as she wanted to join in on their fun.
"Sure, choose a spot, we have plenty of space." Molewhisker replied as Ivypool began digging right by their spot.
"So Molewhisker, is this all you do when you go to the beach is dig holes?" Ivypool asked as she was scraping away at the sand and making a neat pile. Molewhisker was digging like an excavator as he looked up to Ivypool.
"Yeah this is all I do, I'm not one to go in the water all that much. Neither does Cherryfall. Berrynose says there are sharks in the water." Molewhisker responded as Ivypool joined in as she was packing the sand together.
"I guess he's looking out for you and at this rate, you might as well be a good digger, want to decorate our mounds?" Ivypool asked as she spotted some shells and pebbles.
"Sure thing. I bet Cherryfall wouldn't mind." Molewhisker nodded yes as Ivypool began decorating the top of the mound. Poppyfrost was watching from the background as she finished setting themselves up.
"Aww. Ivypool's joined my kits in their play. I think Dovewing should as well." Poppyfrost looked at Honeyfern as she was happy that her kits were playing with Ivypool. Dovewing, who was relaxing in her chair, looked at Poppyfrost as she had an answer.
"No, because Ivypool is a rat." Dovewing responded. She turned away as Honeyfern gasped as she didn't like the fact that Dovewing was being rude.
"Dovewing, that is no way you should talk to your sister." Honeyfern mewed as she was appalled with how Dovewing treated her sister. She then turned to Poppyfrost and Blossomfall as she had an idea. "Hey, any of you want to get back at Dovewing with what she had said." Honeyfern asked as she wanted to see if they were on board with it.
"Yeah I want to." Poppyfrost whispered to Honeyfern.
"Sure." Blossomfall whispered as she was willing to join. Poppyfrost and Honeyfern began to think on how they should get back on Dovewing. Honeyfern looked at the ocean for ideas. She noticed that the surface of the ocean was red with seaweed where Molewhisker, Cherryfall and Ivypool were playing; it turned out they had made a pretty big sand pile.
"Do any of you want to go into the ocean?" Honeyfern whispered. Honeyfern, Poppyfrost and Blossomfall got up as they made their way to the ocean while Dovewing was fast asleep on her chair under the shade. They had a plan.
Molewhisker, Cherryfall and Ivypool were busy making their own piles of sand as they were merging them together. They were happily chatting among themselves as they wanted to figure out what they were interested in.
"Do you enjoy digging around in the sand so far, Ivypool?" Cherryfall asked as she was packing some of the sand down hard as Molewhisker was digging away in the sand.
"I guess but I think something like this would be interesting." Ivypool responded as she was decorating the sand mound as she looked around.
"Do you do anything fun like this back home?" Molewhisker asked as he was playing around.
"No I don't. There's nothing really fun back at home as Dovewing doesn't want to do anything but spend time with Tigerheart." Ivypool groaned as she didn't like Dovewing's friend that she spends so much time with.
"That's a bummer, I wonder if you could move in with us, there is plenty of stuff to do until you did it all." Molewhisker offered to Ivypool if she would want to live with him and his family.
"I'll pass." Ivypool replied as she didn't want to move. "But thank you for the offer." Ivypool responded as Blossomfall, Honeyfern and Poppyfrost walked over to the three of them as they were playing around in the sand.
"Hey you three want to go in the ocean, we should be able to cool off for a bit." Poppyfrost asked for her kits and Ivypool. She looked to her right as the clouds were continuing to gather, it looked like it was going to rain.
"Sure, we can get some of the sand off of us." Cherryfall responded as her fur was full of sand. Poppyfrost giggled as she was ready to race her kits.
"Come on, let's be chomp chomps." Blossomfall responded as she was the first to dart into the ocean. The others followed behind as they splashed into the ocean water as Molewhisker was trying to swim like a gator, to no success. Ivypool laughed as she looked at Molewhisker.
"Not that silly. You swim like a dog." Ivypool responded as she began paddling out with her head above the water as she began demonstrating on how he should swim. Molewhisker was quick to catch on as he swam following Ivypool. Poppyfrost giggled as she looked over to the two of them.
"Now don't go too far okay." Poppyfrost told her kits to not wander off. There were clumps of seaweed drifting in the ocean.
"Hey should we put this on Dovewing to get her back for sure." Blossomfall began as she grabbed the clumps of seaweed so they could use it. Honeyfern and Cherryfall began collecting the seaweed as Poppyfrost would observe Molewhisker and Ivypool as they swam in the waves.
"Wow we got enough of it, let's go back." Honeyfern told them as they managed to gather a ton of the red seaweed from the ocean. Poppyfrost turned back to Molewhisker and Ivypool as they were swimming around.
"Come on you two, it's time we head back." Poppyfrost told them as she turned around and began to head back to shore. Molewhisker and Ivypool swam after Poppyfrost as they wanted to have a race to see who could get to shore the fastest.
Ivypool and Molewhisker rejoined with Cherryfall as they went back to digging in the sand and making their pool. Honeyfern, Blossomfall and Poppyfrost would head up to the sleeping Dovewing as they dumped the seaweed all over her. Dovewing woke up as she saw the red seaweed was on her, she screamed as she was terrified.
"Who did this?!" Dovewing screamed like a little girl as she didn't like the fact that someone would douse her in seaweed. She began brushing it off as she disliked this. Blossomfall, Honeyfern and Poppyfrost looked at each other as if they seemed innocent, they didn't do it. Once Dovewing brushed all the seaweed off, she laid back down onto her bed and went back for her nap. The three of them were now laughing to themselves.
"That was perfect, I didn't know how we pulled this off." Poppyfrost was giggling as she didn't know what they were going to do next.
"What prank should we do next? We should bury her in the sand." Honeyfern mewed as she had some ideas. Poppyfrost would turn back as the clouds were getting closer.
"Yeah I think we should get back to the pool, the weather's starting to get ugly." Poppyfrost would tell them as she was beginning to have second thoughts, the pranks would need to wait for another day. She decided to make her way to her kits. "Ivypool, Molewhisker, Cherryfall, we're heading to the pool as the weather's starting to get ugly, come on." The three of them got up as they began to run after Poppyfrost but they wanted to be the first one to get cleaned.
The time would tick by as Poppyfrost, Molehwisker and Ivypool would have gotten themselves cleaned and they were enjoying some fruit punch.
"How was it?" Poppyfrost asked as she wanted to figure out what it tasted like.
"A little fizzy but I feel like I would want to enjoy what I would like to relax but keep an eye out for the rain." Molewhisker told Poppyfrost as Honeyfern came up to them and dove into the pool. Molewhisker went to find Cherryfall as she was in the jacuzzi. Ivypool went up to them as she was finishing her fruit punch.
"Nice waterfall we have?" Ivypool began as she was watching the waterfall pour water into the relaxing tub. Molewhisker walked in as he was submerged up to his head in water as he decided to relax.
"I heard that the beach was nice and we dug a hole together. That's neat." Molewhisker began as she wanted to know his reaction.
"We can do this again tomorrow and we will make it bigger and better." Ivypool told Molewhisker as she touched his head with her paw.
"So does Blossomfall have any plans later on today?" Cherryfall asked as she was curious about what they were going to do for the rest of the day. Molewhisker began to think as he tried to remember what some of the cats said they were going to do.
"We're visiting Thunderstar and Violet Dawn later on today." Molewhisker told the three of them as she didn't know what was going to happen.
"Yeah that's it." Ivypool mewed as she knew that was it. "I think Violet Dawn was mentioning we will go out for Thai."
"Oh yeah Thai, I think that will be interesting." Molewhisker told them. Molewhisker looked up as droplets of water began to fall from the sky. The rain had finally come.
"Oh look, free showers if we were going to not use the shower." Cherryfall mewed as she looked up as the rain was pouring. Blossomfall walked over as she decided to round up the three cats.
"Come on, the rain is pouring." Blossomfall told the group that they needed to get out and head back to the room. The three cats got out of the hot tub and decided to make their way back up to the room. They were going to have to get back to their room. They were going to decide on what they were going to do after this.
The next couple of hours will pass as the cats were held up in their room by the light rain. The minutes ticked by until it was the clock struck three in the afternoon. Blossomfall knew that the time to go was now as they needed to be there. They knew they needed to meet up with the cats to see if they were going to go back to Thunderstar's estate.
"Okay everyone, let's get ourselves to Thunderstar as we're going out for dinner." Blossomfall decided to announce to the group that they were going to go. The cats got up as they heard the news that they were heading out.
"I heard Thai food was being served, are we getting that?" Honeyfern asked as she was waiting by the elevator. Molewhisker pressed the button for the elevator as the button pinged as the door opened. The seven cats entered inside of the elevator as Ivypool was reading the floors,
"I wonder if we will be allowed on top of the penthouse, maybe we can go up there one day." Ivypool mewed as she wanted to see if they would be up there.
"Maybe." Blossomfall mewed as she didn't know if they weren't going to get onto the terrace. The doors closed as Molewhisker pushed the button for the lobby. The elevator began going down as they were now heading for the lobby. Once getting to the bottom, they looked out ahead as the doors opened. The cats exited the elevator as they went to the truck.
The cats entered the truck as they began to drive away as they were now heading to Thunderstar's estate.
"So does anyone have any plans for what they want to do when we get there?" Molewhisker asked as they wanted to do from now to when they get to the restaurant.
"Probably talk." Dovewing responded as she was texting on her phone.
"Look at the chomp-chomps?" Ivypool asked as she was still wondering what a chomp-chomp was.
"A chomp-chomp is an alligator Ivypool." Blossomfall mewed as she knew that she needed to describe the Alligator. "An Alligator is a big, vicious reptile that has lots of teeth, a powerful bite. It's fast and it;s huge with these huge pieces of bone along its back and tail."
"Wow, when are we going to see an alligator?" Ivypool asked as she wanted to see one of these reptiles.
"Probably not on this trip, I'm not sure." Blossomfall responded as they drove their way to Thunderstar's house.
It was a half hour drive as they arrived at Thunderstar's estate. They got on out as Blossomfall walked over as she knocked on the door. Violet Dawn opened the door as she was more than happy to greet her.
"Welcome back Blossomfall and company. I bet you're heading out for dinner with us tonight hub?" Violet Dawn asked as she wanted to figure out if this was going to work.
"Let's get to drive off as we are ready but we don't know if we are going to be able to stay for very long. The drive will be another half hour." Blossomfall responded. Thunderstar walked over as he shook his paws with Blossomfall and her friends.
"Yeah so how are we going to be able to get there as we will not have the room to carry everyone." Thunderstar began. The other cats had got out as they wanted to stretch their legs so they could finish the journey. Molewhisker has a solution.
"I know, how about we take two cars. We travel in the truck while Violet Dawn and Thunderstar will travel in another car." Molewhisker told them. The other cats were confused.
"Two cars, I thought we were going to take the truck to the thai place and get to have dinner?" Dovewing was puzzled as she thought they were just taking just the truck.
"Dovewing there isn't going to be any room for us when we go out." Molewhisker tried to explain to Dovewing as he knew he was right. Thunderstar walked over as he was ready to jump to his defense.
"Yes, he's right about that. We might as well take two cars." Thunderstar responded as they were going to drive off. Dovewing wasn't pleased with what was happening as of today. She knew she was outnumbered and couldn't compete.
"Okay you got me, we'll take two cars." Dovewing sighed as she knew she didn't want to compete with the two of them. Poppyfrost walked up to Thunderstar as she began speaking.
"Well since you're the only ones who know where this place is, you lead the way." Poppyfrost mewed as she didn't know where this place was. Thunderstar and Violet Dawn looked at each other as Thunderstar began speaking again.
"Well let's get going." Thunderstar responded as they piled into their cars and began to drive away. They knew they were going to clean the towels sometime when they got back. For now they should enjoy themselves.
The two cars would plow ahead as they were going to the thai place. Originally the trip was supposed to take about fifteen minutes, then it went to twenty minutes, twenty-five minutes, finally it came to thirty minutes as the cars finally pulled into the parking lot. The cats then came out of the cat as they began to look around.
"Well that trip took longer than anticipated and it seems to be that you have everything in your area. Mega shops, urgent cares, you have everything in your area." Honeyfern mewed as they walked off to the place as they were definitely going to have some dinner.
An hour later, the same cats exited the thai place as Violet Dawn, Cherryfall and Honeyfern turned and she told Thunderstar what she was going to do.
"I'm going to run into Trader Joe's for a few things, get the cars up and running." Violet Dawn told Thunderstar what she planned on doing. Thunderstar nodded as the several cats went to their cars. Blossomfall was the first to enter as she wanted to begin a conversation.
"How was dinner tonight?" Blossomfall asked as she wanted to see how everyone was feeling.
"Man I'm full, I wasn't expecting the portions to be so big. I wonder what tomorrow will bring." Poppyfrost responded as the cats began to buckle themselves in. They began to drive off as they were going to pick up the three remaining cats as they were going shopping.
"Yeah I don't want to punch anyone in the gut in case they might puke." Molewhisker responded as he was playing his phone game.
"Yeah except for Dovewing, I think she might keep it down." Ivypool teased Molewhisker.
"Yeah, what's for dessert?" Dovewing grumbled on what she was going to eat. Molewhisker growled as he knew Dovewing wanted more food.
"You just ate and you want more?" Molewhisker asked as he knew Dovewing would be crazy and just eating. Poppyfrost knew she wanted to break this up as she didn't want this to escalate.
"Let's settle down, I think we should be able to decide on what we can do tomorrow." Poppyfrost told her friends as Cherryfall and Honeyfern entered the car as they had the stuff. Now they could make their way back to the house. Time to decide on what they should do for tomorrow.
When they arrived back at the house, they were discussing what they had in mind for tomorrow. Dovewing was getting impatient as she wanted to get back to the room.
"So what you plan on doing tomorrow as we can decide on what you want to do?" Violet Dawn began as she was serving something light.
"So what will we be tomorrow/" Ivypool asked as she seemed curious about what they had in mind. Violet Dawn looked as she was deciding on what they were going to do.
"We can play some games as we have a clear schedule until Thursday when Gray Wing is hosting his barbecue. We can kill time by having you over for dinner once more." Violet Dawn mewed as she decided to let them listen in on what their plans were.
"Sounds great, what will be for dinner?" Honeyfern asked as she was wondering what Violet Dawn was going to serve them.
"Sausages, I think you'll like them." Violet Dawn responded. Poppyfrost looked at her clock as it was getting late.
"Yeah sorry to say something but we need to be back into our rooms as its getting late. We'll be back tomorrow." Poppyfrost responded as she and the others packed themselves up and prepared to leave. Molewhisker and Blossomfall were looking around outside as they were waiting to get into the truck when Molewhisker spotted something.
"Hey Blossomfall, is that a lizard?" Molewhisker asked as they went over to the garage where the thing was located. The two of them walked over for a closer look.
"It's not a lizard its a frog. Let the frog go." Blossomfall told Molewhisker who was guiding the frog to the grass. The frog bounce up into the air as it landed in the grass. Blossomfall took out her phone as she snapped a picture of it. The frog would hop away into the dark underbrush. Poppyfrost and her friends came outside as they were wondering what the commotion was about.
"Hey, what did you guys find?" Poppyfrost asked as she was wondering what they found.
"We found a frog, it hopped away but Blossomfall got a picture of it." Molewhisker replied as Blossomfall showed her phone to Poppyfrost.
"Nice, I'm glad that the frog is okay so we'll say goodbye to Thunderstar and Violet Dawn and return for them tomorrow." Poppyfrost mewed. She looked back to Violet Dawn as Poppyfrost had some questions for her. "What about the towels should we take them back?"
"Come back for them tomorrow as we will have them waiting for you and we will wash and dry them for you." Violet Dawn mewed that there was no need to stress over them. Poppyfrost nodded as they all piled into the truck and bidded the two cats farewell.
"See you tomorrow afternoon." Poppyfrost told them as Blossomfall started the truck up. They began to drive away as Blossomfall waved goodbye as they drove off into the darkness.
Half an hour would pass as the cats would return to the hotels as they were looking forward to tomorrow.
"I don't know what everyone's plans will be?" Honeyfern asked as she and her friends were making their way to their rooms.
"I want to dig another hole." Molewhisker replied.
"Go swimming in the waves with the Chomp-chomps." Ivypool gave her input. Blossomfall giggled as she decided now was a good time to call it a night.
"I will see you tomorrow morning." Blossomfall giggled as she entered her room. She and the others began to settle down for the night as tomorrow was a new day with new opportunities.
The fun was already getting started.
[A/N]: Nothing much happened other than the first full day at the resort and tomorrow will bring new adventures to the characters as well as new events that will happen to our characters. The vacation is beginning to pick up. See you later.
