Chapter 14: The PirateBay Zone:
"One night, somewhere along the seven seas, there was an emasculate sailing ship called the Jolly Swanson.
Twas a pirate ship made out of maple wood, had white sails, a pirate flag on top and had cannons located within the ship.
Everyday, the Jolly Swanson would sail between the computer world and the island of Genesis, smuggling crates of pirated software and hardware to the main lands. Where the loot would eventually be sold to the highest bidder.
But black market eBay buyers fail to realize, that the majority of these crates and packages sold by these pirates also contained various pieces of malware. Which would eventually compromise victims' computers. But then again, that's the risk everyone is willing to take just to pirate anything from the black market eBay, Arrrg!
Still though... who knew that one day, that there United Anti-Virus movement would turn to a group of pirates just to help them on their mission. Well, I guess I can take the lead to explain exactly what happened between me and that there anti-virus academy." Said a green mysterious robot who stood atop the Jolly Swanson as he watched the sun rise just by the ports.
Meanwhile, just by the docks, Void and the 3 hedgehogs were outside and walking towards the ports.
Sonic wasn't impressed that their journey has taken them by the waters,
"Okay, so we made it to the docks, but how in the heck are we gonna save the girls this way?!! And if we have to travel by sea to reach the island of Genesis, which boat do we take?" Sonic complained, "And did I mention I hate water?"
Upon looking at the boats that were docked, Void looked up at a pirate ship that looked beautiful and immaculate.
The wood was maple colored and shiny, and the sails were completely intact; as if the boat was built the day before it was to be taken out at sea.
Looking impressed, Void looked at Sonic, Shadow and Silver and pointed to the large and beautiful pirate ship that he just saw.
Void and the 3 hedgehogs slowly approached the ship to walk towards the platform in order to climb aboard.
But just then, a huge green armored robot wearing a captain's hat while wearing pirate attire and an eye patch jumped off the ship's observatory. As he jumped, he was holding onto some tied rope as he landed in front of the heroes.
He then drew his sword and aimed it towards the intruders,
"Arrrg, what in the blistering barnacles is going on here?!!!" The pirate shouted,
"Calm down sir, we come in peace!!!" Void shouted as he puts his hands in the air while the hedgehogs followed suit.
The pirate slowly approaches the intruders and aims his sword directly at Void's neck,
"Who ye be?!!! And what business does ye have with the captain of this here vessel?"
Void swallowed his saliva and began to respond with honesty,
"My name is Void Ranger. I'm a student for the United Anti-Virus academy. These are my hedgehog friends Sonic, Shadow and Silver. We arrived here to ask for your permission to commandeer this boat to rescue our friends who are trapped in Genesis."
The pirate laughed, "BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! Y'all wish to commandeer me vessel?!!! Ha!!! It is to laugh, BWAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!"
Void was not in the mood to laugh, "But it's true sir. My friends have been kidnapped by Optical Illusions and I need your boat to reach them."
"Arrrg!!! I find that there excuse quite amusing to listen to!!! Do ye honestly think I'm gonna let you have my ship?!!! BWAHAHAHAHAA!!! And who was that their virus syndicate you just spoke of?" The pirate responded, thinking that this whole situation was a prank,
"Optical Illusions." Void responded with a stern look on his face,
The pirate's laugh was abruptly cut short when Void mentioned the virus syndicate,
"Blistering barnacles, did you just say... Optical Illusions?!!!"
"Yes sir. Optical Illusions, the virus syndicate responsible for threatening to destroy the computer world with those virus payloaded missiles." Void responded,
The pirate lowered his weapon and walked away from Void and the hedgehogs as he began to reflect the events prior to the battle aboard the defense platform.
"Listen kid, you wouldn't believe me if I told ye... But I was the ingrate who sold those virus infested missiles to Optical Illusions last year." The pirate confessed while looking down in sadness.
"I honestly thought these missiles would be used to defend that their computer world, not destroy it." The pirate explained,
"And who told you such lies?" Void asked,
"Why, that there minister of course, Total AV." Confessed the pirate as he turned his head towards the heroes.
"What did this minister promise you?" Shadow asks as he was curious to hear more,
"Me and me crew were promised buried treasure beyond our wildest dreams." The pirate confessed,
Void face palmed himself while looking unimpressed, "Mister pirate sir, we all know that's b*t! You're in the computer world, there's no such thing as buried treasure."
"But how in the blue blazes do those pirates keep getting rich?" The pirate asks as he began to panic.
"They've been mining for their treasure." Void responded, "They built computers with the highest standards possible. And they use them to mine for their treasure."
The pirate began to think about it,
"Hmmm, maybe I should give it a shot soon." The pirate said as he was pondering,
The pirate then approached the heroes and began to demand a payment for his services,
"Alright ye flee bitten hedgehog, what does ye have in value that's in it for me?!!!"
"Tell you what. How about if you help us get to Genesis, the 3 of us will reward you with half our rings. How does that sound?" Sonic asked as he began to bargain,
"SONIC!!! ARE YOU CRAZY?!!!" Silver shouted as he was outraged with Sonic's bargain,
"Relax, we can always fetch them back." Sonic reassured him as he slapped Silver's shoulder.
"Ouch, why didn't I see this coming?!" Silver said as he held onto his shoulder in pain.
"Hmm, rings huh?... Very well then!!! Welcome aboard the Jolly Swanson, me hardies!!! Climb aboard, as we are ready to sail the seven seas!!!" The pirate shouted as he took his hat off and bowed before the heroes.
Void bowed before the pirate as the hedgehogs stepped on board,
"Thank you sir. By the way, what is your name?"
"They call me Captain Cyber Greybeard." Cyber responded while bowing back towards Void in respect,
"So mister Void, ye blue little scallywag. I understand that ye wish to sail into Genesis. But does ye have that their permit to travel to Genesis?" Cyber asked as he crossed his arms together,
Void bowed his head looking disappointed, "I'm afraid not, as a student of the U.A.V, we are forbidden from ever setting foot on the island."
Silver then approached the robots to chime in a suggestion, "Do you think you can help us sneak inside Genesis?"
Cyber shook his head no, "Arrrg, I'm sorry. But no permit, no permission, no sailing and no service. Tis that simple."
Silver was angry that he was ready to punch the captain,
"GRRR!!! IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA HELP ME SAVE DANIELA!!! THEN I'LL SWIM THERE MYSELF, YOU ROTTEN!..." Silver shouted,
But Void quickly clotheslined Silver right before he was ready to attack,
"Please excuse him Captain, his girlfriend was one of those victims captured by Optical Illusions." Void apologized,
"Well... forgive me, ye blue little barnacle. but I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask ye to disembark from me vessel immediately." Cyber responded and gestured for the heroes to walk the plank,
Suddenly, a voice from the docks shouted towards the heroes with a familiar voice,
"That won't be necessary!!!" Shouted Hacker as he, ClamWin and Norton approached the ship; ready to board.
Norton then shows off the permits to sail towards Genesis.
"Wait a minute!!! Minister Norton, Mistress ClamWin and Hacker, what are you doing here?!!! And how the hell did you manage to acquire permits to sail to Genesis?!!!" Void asked while looking shocked,
"What does it look like? We're here to help you rescue the girls, of course." Norton responded,
"And to answer your question, unbeknownst to any of you. As soon as Void Ranger told the U.A.V everything about Webroot and his whereabouts, I contacted the authorities to request a permit to travel to Genesis in order to perform the arrest." Hacker chimed in,
Captain Cyber was confused, "Wait a minute. Excuse me, me hardies, but who ye be?"
"I am Minister Norton, academic dean and minister of the U.A.V, this pink armored minister next to me is my right-hand programmer Hacker and the purple looking lady next to me is Mistress ClamWin." Minister Norton responded as he handed out his introductions.
"And on behalf of this blue little robot and his 3 hedgehog friends, I hold the permits to travel to Genesis." Said Norton as he handed the papers to Cyber for further inspection.
After a good 2 minutes of carefully inspecting the permits, Cyber then lifted his hat,
"Well, now that everything is in order... Welcome aboard me hardies, please join us on the main deck. Me crew will be serving cocktails in one hour."
He then turned his head and called out the crew who began to emerge from inside the captain's quarters.
"Look alive ye swabs!!! The Jolly Swanson departs at noon!!! Scrub the floors, get ready to set sail for adventure!!!"
"YEAH!!!" Shouted all the pirates as they began to prepare the boat before departure.
The pirates all wore aqua armor and each pirate had a distinct feature about them, some had eye patches, some had a wooden leg and others had a wooden arm.
During the preparation, a familiar ranger who wore orange armor and had a green visor for eyes and his 2 henchmen were inspecting the tasks in preparation for departure.
"Floors... check, cannons... check, sails... check, crew ready?... Check" Virus said as he was typing on his tablet while pacing around the ship as his henchmen closely followed from the sides.
Hacker looked down towards his arch nemesis Virus. He then quietly walked into the captain's quarters without a word; where he then closed the doors. He wasn't happy to see Virus on board the pirate ship.
As the pirates swabbed the deck, released the sails and prepared the cannons. One huge pirate named Anchor who wore a black anchor shirt and an eye patch suddenly broke out into song as the crew followed suit.
"What do we do with a drunken sailor,

As the pirates were singing, dancing and getting ready to sail, Void was watching near the captain's quarters as Sonic approached him,
"Hey blue boy, is this Captain Cyber guy really a pirate?" Sonic asked looking concerned,
"Pretty much. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the smooth sailing." Void responded while reassuring Sonic that nothing bad was gonna happen.
But Sonic wasn't in the mood of relaxing. As he looked down towards the water, he began to feel sea sick.
Void slowly approached the blue blur and asked him, "Hey Sonic. Can I ask you a question? And be honest with me."
Sonic turned his head towards Void and responded, "Sure, what would you like to ask me?"
Void gave him a stern look, "Sonic The Hedgehog, is it true that you hate water?"
Sonic looked down towards the water and then back to Void. "Yes, I hate water. I drown every time I get inside it."
Void then looks down at the water and slowly begins to remember what minister Kaspersky told him hours ago.
"Sonic... listen to me. Not everyone like water. Believe me, we are robots, we are easily susceptible to water damage if we come into contact with it. But there will come a time once in your life where you will eventually have to overcome your fears, in hopes to better yourself and everyone around you. Do you understand?" Void asked as he slowly placed his hand on the blue blur's shoulder.
But still being the salty blue blur he was, he slapped Void's hand away from his shoulder and walked away from the blue robot.
"Wow, so much for trying to lift his spirits up, I guess." Void said to himself looking towards Sonic while feeling disappointed.
As Void watched on, he couldn't help but think about if he and the pirates have set sailed together before.
As the Jolly Swanson finally began to set sail, Void decided to walk inside the captain's quarters where he saw Hacker sitting on the captain's chair and typing on his laptop which he brought along. Hacker was not in a happy mood,
Void walked up to him and looked very concerned,
"Excuse me Hacker, but what are you doing here? You're missing out on all the beverages on deck. Why don't you join us?"
Hacker looked at Void with a very stern look as he continued typing,
"Hacker, talk to me. Why stay locked inside when everyone is outside and having a good time?" Void continued,
Hacker looked at Void once again and finally responded,
"Minister Norton has ordered me to set up Captain Cyber's firewalls, so that in the event of an intrusion attack or if this ship becomes infected; we'll still have the firewalls to prevent any viruses from entering this vessel." Hacker explained.
"I see..." Void responded as he looked at the pink armored ranger who wasn't in a happy mood,
"Tell me Hacker, how long have you been a programmer for the U.A.V?" Void asked,
Hacker bowed his head in shame and closed his eyes. "I've studied programming in the U.A.V. for ...30 years."
Void became shocked as he backed away towards a wall, "What?! 30 years?!!! You've been programming for over 30 years?!!!"
"Yes, for over 30 years, I've still been a student for the U.A.V." Hacker replied as he continued to type.
Void was looking more concerned than ever, he walked closer to Hacker and asked,
"If that's the case, then what prevented you from graduating?"
Hacker closed his eyes and began to explain a secret that the U.A.V would always hide from any average student.
"Well, actually... I was able to pass all 3 exams except for one. Tis what the U.A.V likes to call... The graduation exam. The most difficult exam in the entire U.A.V academy."
Hacker then turned his head and began to explain the exam that prevented him from graduating,
"The graduation exam is simply... All 3 exams simultaneously. The U.A.V wants to see you set up the firewalls, detect and remove viruses, and disassemble scripts while recovering the system files... All while the computer is on the verge of blue screening."
Hacker then turned his back and continued typing on his laptop,
"I unfortunately never passed the graduation exam, I made 5 attempts to pass this exam. And in all 5 attempts, I always failed during the 3rd and final stage which is disassembly and recovery."
Hacker then approached Void with a very stern look,
"Listen to me Void, disassembly and recovery is no joke. You need to understand the essence of scripts, coding and programming. Without any of these, you'll never be able to pass the 3rd exam, let alone the graduation exam."
Hacker then resumed typing on his laptop, "Until I finally pass the graduation exam, I will forever be a servant to Minister Norton and the U.A.V."
Void looked sad towards Hacker, he didn't like seeing anyone feel hurt, he walked up towards Hacker and offered him a hug,
"Hacker, do not lose hope. You just need to practice on your time management. In doing so, you should be able to breeze through the exam no problem." Void reassured him.
"Thank you for the motivation, Void. I really do appreciate it." Hacker said as he slowly hugged back,
"But on a serious note, is it true that Webroot betrayed us and is working for Optical Illusions all this time? Is it true that one of the greatest ministers has been the enemy all this time?!!! Is this true?!!!" Hacker yelled as he released Void from the hug,
Void bowed his head and looked sad, "Yes Hacker, tis true. Minister Webroot is working for Total AV. He's holding Team 182 hostage on the island of Genesis, and he's getting ready to sacrifice them to a huge monstrosity of a virus called Elite.
It can delete data on computers and mobile phones, it can scam victims' credit cards. It even performs deep learning through the victim's use of their devices. Worst of all, it also includes a stealth mechanism which causes disinfection to become impossible.
Hacker, the surveillance footage from the academy doesn't lie, we witnessed all the incriminating evidence needed to charge Webroot with treason. And we need your help; now more than ever.
If we manage to fight Elite and delete it from the equation, I might put in a good word for you to Minister Norton. Hopefully, he'll finally let you graduate from the academy." Void explained,
Hacker hugged Void once again,
"Thank you Void, I really needed that boost of confidence. I really needed that." Hacker responded as Void hugged back.
Suddenly, their hug was cut short as the sirens began to blare and a booming noise was heard from inside the ship.
"Attention, system shutdown initiated. 60 seconds til' reboot." Said Anchor as he shouted from the observatory atop the ship.
Hacker began to freak out, "System shutdown? But that's impossible, not a single virus has been able to pass through the firewalls... Unless..."
"Unless Cyber and his crew are smuggling pirated software, to which the loot contains a nasty surprise inside. I mean, they are still pirates after all." Void explained,
"So you're saying that this virus is already present in memory, despite already installing these firewalls?" Hacker wondered out loud,
"Not just any virus... Sasser. The only virus I know that can cause system shutdowns that loop every 60 seconds after reboot." Void explained as he pieced together what Anchor recently shouted.
Hacker then returned to his laptop to continue setting up the firewalls.
"Void, you need to practice for your virus detection and removal exam, see if you can destroy that Sasser worm and report back to me for updates. Now please excuse me, I have a firewall to finish installing."
"Yes Hacker, right away Hacker." Void said as he bowed before him and headed outside to investigate.
On his way out, Cyber and his crew were all cowering around the ship. Realizing that something was wrong, Void turned to a familiar orange and green visor ranger who was nearby,
"Virus Ranger, what are you doing here? And what the hell is going on?!!!" Void whispered,
"Shhhh. Shut your mouth Void, there's a virus in the cargo hold." Virus whispered back,
"You still didn't answer my other question."
"After the space platform was destroyed last year, myself along with my 2 henchmen; Caseem and Abdil were planning to change career to join a pirate crew." Virus answered,
Void then looked at his 2 henchmen, "Wait a minute, Caseem and Abdil? What the hell are you both doing here?!!! Last time we saw each other was near the firewalls during my first exam!!! What the hell happened to you both?!!!"
Caseem and Abdil stared at each other before looking down towards the robot, "Well sir, after Kaspersky delivered what we believed to be by far the worst inspirational war speech ever. We decided to split and meet up with our good friend Virus here aboard the Jolly Swanson." Caseem replied.
"But gentlemen, you are aware that abandoning your post is a violation of the U.A.V's rules and regulations, right?" Void asked as he gave the henchmen a stern look.
"Screw the rules. There's no need to worry at this point. This here crew and that there United Anti-Virus movement are now square. No need to feel worked-up about it." Abdil responded.
Void looked at the 3 members standing before him and took a deep breath while trying to calm himself down. The blue robot then turned his attention towards Virus and brought up the fraudulent incident that happened last year with Optical Illusions.
"But what about the money that Total AV stole from you?" Void asked,
"No need to worry about that. If the 3 of us do well on our expeditions, Cyber will reward us with half the treasure. And I'll be hallway done with recovering what we lost."
Virus then pointed to the opening of the ship that leads into the cargo. "But you gotta help us, there's something in there." Virus whispered while looking terrified.
Unafraid and determined, Void gets out of hiding and draws his sword as he approaches the opening.
Sonic, Shadow and Silver quietly follow Void as they all jump one at a time into the hole leading straight into the cargo room.
Once inside, they began to observe their surroundings. The cargo room was full of wooden tiles everywhere. And at almost every block, was a pile of wooden crates that were locked and taped shut.
"Hmm, I wonder if there's pirated software inside these containers." Void questioned as he walked towards a pile of crates and touched one of the taped boxes.
Suddenly, they heard booming sounds from across the room.
One crate was shaking and trying to tumble over.
Void drew his sword as the hedgehogs took up their fighting stances.
"What the hell is that crate doing? Why is it making too much noise?!!!" Silver shouted,
"I dunno, but it looks like it wants to come out and box. Ha!!! Get it? Come out and box?!!!" Sonic chuckled as he tried to make a pun,
Void looked at Sonic unimpressed as Shadow became enraged,
"OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD SONIC!!! THERE'S NO TIME FOR JOKES!!! MARIA IS IN DANGER AND YOU JUST WANNA JOKE AROUND?!!! I SHOULD DESTROY YOU FOR THIS!!!" Shadow shouted as he charged up his power.
Just then, Void stepped in between them in attempts to break up the fight, "Hedgehogs, that's enough! Please direct your anger on whatever that thing is within the crates. Now c'mon, help me push this crate overboard before it..."
But just before Void could finish his sentence, the crate's top cover busted open and emerging from the crate; a 2 headed worm began to slither towards the heroes.
The worm then began to go for a straight bite towards Sonic, Sonic dashed away from the worm as it hit the wall.
The worm then turned around and coiled itself as it was trying to recover.
It then directed it's attention to Shadow and Silver. It jumped in the air and slammed it's body onto the 2 hedgehogs.
Sonic then ran towards the Sasser worm and attempted to perform multiple spin dashes. The first 2 hits were a direct hit, but Sasser caught on to what Sonic was doing and counter attacked Sonic during his 3rd spin dash.
Silver then tried to use his telekinesis powers against Sasser, "TAKE THIS!!!" Silver yelled,
But upon releasing the worm, Sasser was furious towards Silver. It jumped towards Silver and struck him head on towards a wall.
Finally, without even giving Shadow a chance, Sasser jumped in the air and slammed it's body onto Shadow.
Angry and frustrated, Void approached the Sasser worm and threw his sword towards Sasser like a boomerang.
Luckily, the sword slit Sasser's stomach, causing the worm to coil up and roar in pain.
The worm then returned to it's fighting stance and prepared to strike, but little did Sasser realize, Void was holding a smaller sword with an electrical shock stick attached to the blade behind his back. It was his network tap which he used to disable and reverse engineer any virus or software against their will.
As the worm jumped forward to bite the blue robot, he side stepped and sliced the worm with the network tap; causing the worm to glitch out and disobey it's orders.
Once the worm was disabled and it's codes were reverse engineered, the worm then began to sniff out the crates.
After sniffing the crates, the worm then began to go crazy. It slammed the crates into walls, picked up the crates and body slammed them to the floor. The worm even managed to bite the crates open causing spyware and trojan horses to run for cover.
Luckily for Void, the worm bit, pounced and smashed itself onto every virus that was present within the room.
When all the hidden viruses were deleted, Void walked up to Sasser and began to pet the worm,
"Good boy Sasser, good boy."
Void then quickly drew his sword and stabbed the Sasser worm through it's mouth. And with that, the Sasser worm was deleted, along with all the trojan horses and spyware that were hiding inside the crates.
As Void ran to help the hedgehogs back to their feet after they took major beatings from the worm, Captain Cyber and his right-hand pirate Anchor entered the cargo room by jumping inside as they held onto some ropes.
Cyber then grabbed Void's neck and began to confront the blue robot,
"Grrrr, what happened?!!!" Cyber growled as he demanded answers.
"Sasser sir, a worm that tried to infect you and your crew by rebooting every 60 seconds indefinitely." Void explained as he released himself from Cyber's grip.
"But thanks to these hedgehogs and this network tap. The Sasser worm is no more." Void said as he waved his hand towards Sonic and his friends while showing off his network tap.
Suddenly, Anchor stepped towards the destroyed crates to inspect the damage. He then turned to his captain and asked,
"Captain Cyber, forgive me for asking. But where in the hell did you purchase this pirated software? Did you buy them off the black-market eBay again?"
Cyber looked at his right-hand man and then to the blue robot. He then bowed his head in shame and confessed,
"Well... I may have agreed with Total AV to sell some pirated crates of hardware and software. But after what just happened in this here cargo room with that there virus... I guess we can say that this deal is over, and that we hereby declare war against Optical Illusions!!!" Cyber shouted as he lifted his sword in the air while his crew followed suit.
Cyber then gets closer to Void and looks him directly in the eye,
"And I assure you... Total AV will taste my fist in his face."
Cyber then walks away, leaving Void in the cargo room to tend to the injuries of his fellow hedgehogs.
Later that night, Norton was looking out into the dark ocean below and enjoying the nightly breeze as Cyber's ship continued to sail off into the night.
As Norton continued to enjoy the breeze, Mistress ClamWin opened the door from the captain's quarters and walked to join Norton near the edge of the deck. She then turned her head and got closer to Norton,
"Minister Norton, I was hoping I would speak with you sooner."
Norton turned his head to look at ClamWin,
"Mistress ClamWin, out of bed at this hour? You're looking terrible as usual." Norton snarked,
"Cut the b*t Norton, is it true that Minister Webroot has betrayed us? Is it true that Webroot is working for Optical Illusions, and that everything Void Ranger said has been validated?!!!" ClamWin asked as she was demanding for answers.
Norton shook his head in disbelief, "Nothing has been officially validated. We still have yet to hear from Webroot. But as far as Void's accusations are concerned, we have seen the surveillance footage. And it has never lied to us before."
Norton then gets closer to ClamWin,
"Honestly ClamWin, I would rather trust Void ranger with my life than to trust someone who would eventually backstab me in the near future." Norton confessed,
ClamWin wasn't happy to hear Norton's response,
"So Norton, you're telling me that Minister Webroot; one of our founding fathers of the U.A.V academy had setup this whole scheme, just to get our students kidnapped and sacrificed to a virus that was developed behind our back; just so Total AV can destroy our lovely academy?!!!"
"Mistress ClamWin, if what Void says is true, then Webroot has declared war on the United Anti-Virus movement. All we can do for now is hope that everything Void said hasn't come to pass. And if Total AV's intentions are to attack the U.A.V, then we'll be ready." Said Norton as he got closer to her.
As ClamWin and Norton were just about to kiss for the very first time, Captain Cyber and his right-hand pirate; Anchor interrupted their moment together and removed his hat,
"Arrrg, Ministers Norton and ClamWin, look alive ye swabs. We're just about to land home. Prepare to disembark as we hoist anchor tomorrow morning at..."
But suddenly, as Cyber was explaining the disembarking process, 5 computer controlled solar beams from a nearby RCH-1 struck the ship; causing a portion of the deck to be destroyed.
Scared and panicking as they got hit. Cyber walks towards the front of the ship and pulls out his telescope to seek out whatever attacked them.
Sure enough, at least a mile away was an enemy ship that was approaching the Jolly Swanson, it was being controlled by Gigabot and his army of nanobots.
As the heroes arrived to assess the situation, Void was shocked when he took the telescope from Cyber and looked through it.
"Who be these scurvy rats?!!!" Cyber asked,
"Oh no!!! It's those nanobot clowns again!!!" Shouted Void as he was terrified to see the nanobots once again, "But how the hell did they survive in the Tech Alps?!!!"
Norton placed his hand on Void's shoulder and looked down at him,
"Simple my child... You cannot destroy the nanobots as they are. You must destroy them from the source." Norton responded,
Void then suddenly had a revelation, "The game consoles... Of course!!!"
Just then, Anchor walked onto the deck and stood next to Cyber as he was awaiting orders, "Orders captain?"
"Arrrg! Tell the crew to arm the proton cannons. This means war." Cyber ordered as he looked over towards the enemy ship.
Anchor then turned around and began to yell at Cyber's crew, "Orders from the captain!!! Arm the proton cannons!!! This means war!!!"
Suddenly, the ships began to sail closer and closer towards each other. As both ships were about to sail next to each other,
In the enemy ship; the Gigabot paced left to right around the deck and barked his orders, "Prepare the RCH-1s, give these poor b*s a taste of solar power!!!"
Back on Cyber's ship. Anchor walked again towards Cyber ready for more orders,
"Arrrg!!! Listen carefully ye scallywag, all proton cannons prepare to fire at will." Cyber ordered,
"Yes sir." Anchor responded as he once again barked orders towards the crew, "Orders from the captain!!! All proton cannons prepare to fire at will!!!"
The pirates and nanobots from their respected ships began to simultaneously load their thermal cartridges and aim the cannons towards their target. Unfortunately for Cyber, he was at a disadvantage as the nanobot's ship was armed with RCH-1s which are guided proton cannons, while his crew only had standard proton cannons.
But with no intention to back down, Cyber was determined and ready to sink the opposing ship and delete all the nanobots on board.
Just then, Cyber began to hear the dreaded human-like computer voice he never wanted to hear,
"Danger. Malware reloaded and ready, evacuate immediately." Said multiple female computer voices,
Without hesitating, the nanobots opened fire with their RCH-1s and attacked the side of the ship causing massive damage.
As the crew members of the affected area tried to evacuate and fell into the ocean, their bodies bursted into binary code as they disintegrated.
"What the hell is happening?" Void asked as he was looking terrified at what was happening to the crew.
"Water damage. When a computer falls in the water; finished. End of story. Game over. The motherboard is instantly fried." Norton responded.
Void swallowed his saliva as he was looking terrified. "Gulp."
Meanwhile, in the weapons room of the ship, Virus was walking down the stairs to where the cannons were being armed. He walked towards his henchmen who were manning 2 of the 8 cannons on the side.
When Virus finally joined his buddies, Caseem and Abdil both looked at Virus. Without a word, Virus responded by nodding yes.
With the green light given, Cyber's crew began to fire back on the enemy ship, hitting the front of the shop and sending a couple of nanobots into the ocean.
Without hesitating, the crew then quickly loaded more thermal cartridges and fired once again towards the nanobots. This time, it was the side of the ship that took damage.
The Gigabot walked towards the edge of the ship where the damage was made, and simply growled in anger.
"KILL EVERYTHING!!!" The Gigabot ordered as the nanobots loaded more thermal clips and prepared their photon cannons to attack.
Back at Cyber's ship, ClamWin cautiously walked towards the edge of the deck, "What the hell does he think he's doing?"
Both Norton and Cyber quickly joined her to observe the nanobots preparing their RCH-1s once again.
"Avast, ye ingrates!!! Show them ye mean no mercy!!!" Shouted Cyber as he turned his head to bark more orders towards his crew.
As Cyber's crew continued to fire back on the enemy ship, this time hitting the rear of the nanobots' ship. He heard the dreaded computer voice once again,
"Danger. Malware reloaded and ready, evacuate immediately." Said multiple female computer voices for the second time,
The enemy ship opened fire and guided their energy beams towards the front of the ship.
Without hesitating, Cyber and the heroes made a break for it and ran as fast as they could towards the rear of the ship while the front exploded; sending more of Cyber's crew tumbling into the watery grave below.
Finally having enough, Cyber picks up a conveniently placed megaphone near the steering wheel and shouts, "FIRE!!!"
"Fire!!!" Repeats Virus upon hearing the captain's orders as the crew loaded the last of the cartridges and
The crew then opened fire on the enemy ship, and it was a direct hit, the last of the energy beams struck the interior of Gigabot's ship causing every last nanobot to abandon ship and disintegrate into the mysterious fathoms below.
One nanobot ran towards Gigabot and attempted to convince him to attack them one more time,
"Gigabot sir, we have them on the ropes!!! We can still beat them!!!" The nanobot shouted,
But the Gigabot looked around the deck to check if there were still any RCH-1s that were functional to deliver the final blow. There weren't any working RCH-1s in sight. All the RCH-1s were blown to pieces. Some were broken in halves while others fell into the water and disintegrated.
"Negative. We've lost all fire power... Abandon ship." The Gigabot said with a disappointed look,
Realizing that he's been defeated; as he watches his ship sinking slowly, the Gigabot climbs to the top of what's left of the ship and gives captain Cyber a soldier salute before going down with the ship and slowly disintegrating. Thus, Cyber and his crew have sunk their ship fair and square, and that Void and his friends have defeated the nanobots once again.
As Cyber, what was left of his crew and our heroes were watching the enemy ship sink, Anchor bent down towards Void and asked him,
"What the hell was that thing, was that the SS Sentinel?" Anchor asked,
"Yes mister Anchor, that was in fact the SS Sentinel." Minister Norton responded while looking towards Anchor, "Powered by Optical Illusions, and armed with RCH-1 guided proton cannons, this bloody ship was designed for one single purpose... Search and destroy."
"But why would that there enemy try to gun down me ship?" Cyber asked looking confused,
Void turned to face the captain and gave him a stern look,
"Haven't you figured it out captain, tis a message. We must all be ready for battle by dawn." Void announced as he drew his sword.
Void then turns to face the sunken enemy ship.
"Cyber and crew, stay behind and take care of the wounded. As soon as the hedgehogs are back on their feet, we're gonna try to sneak in to save the girls. If all goes well, or if our plans backfire; either way, we need to mount a full-scale assault on the island of Genesis."
Void then stepped towards the edge of the boat and pointed his sword towards the sunken nanobots ship as he barked his very first order to Cyber's crew.
"Captain cyber, pirates!!! Full speed ahead!!! It's time we end this Elite virus, once and for all!!!" Void shouted,
"Orders from the captain!!! Full speed ahead!!!" Shouted Anchor as he and the crew began to sail off into the night once again.
