Chapter 16: GENESIS:
Meanwhile, in a courtyard; just outside the military base. There was a blue pool containing the white garble data that was bubbling. It was the blue screen memory dump.
As the final preparations were being made. The nanobots opened up the dungeon doors and SNT and her friends who were still tied up with ropes; were being led into the courtyard by an army of nanobots.
The girls were very sad, as they lost all hope and thought that their lives were finally about to come to an end.
With one last attempt to scream their voices out loud, the girls cried, "LET ME GO!!!" SNT shouted,
"Release us fast!!! Or you'll be sorry!!!" Maria shouted,
"What did we ever do to you?!!!" Daniela cried,
"I SWEAR TO GOD, I'LL KILL ALL YOU ROBOTS!!!" Nicole yelled.
But the nanobots didn't listen to their cries for help and proceeded to tie more ropes in preparation to suspend the girls over the blue screen pool.
Once the nanobots pulled onto the ropes, the girls were suspended in the air as the nanobots positioned them as they were ready to make them fall.
"AHHHH!!!" Cried Team 182 in unison as they swung around and struggled to get free.
"SOMEBODY HELP US!!!" Maria cried out loud,
"PLEASE HELP!!!" SNT yelled as loud as she could,
Just near the pool was a podium with a book placed on top. As the nanobots rolled out a red carpet towards the podium, Webroot and Total AV approached the podium ready to begin the sacrificial ceremony.
Suddenly, Total AV stepped onto the podium and opened up the book. He then began the ceremony to sacrifice the maidens.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here tonight to witness the sacrifice of these 4 beautiful maidens, in exchange for our lust for power and for the strength of our newly developed Elite virus."
The girls continues swinging and struggling to loosen up the ropes,
"SNT!!! DO SOMETHING!!!" Maria cried out loud,
"HELP US SNT!!! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!" Daniela yelled,
"I can't!!! I'm all tied up!!! SOMEBODY HELP US!!!" SNT shouted,
"If I can get out of these ropes, I want to strangle that b*d!!!" Nicole shouted in anger,
Total AV then turned the book to the next page,
"SNT, Maria Robotnik, Daniela the cat, and Nicole the cat. Do you all wish to be sacrificed, in the name of viruses and malware all across the computer world? And in the name of Optical Illusions and other virus syndicates everywhere?" Total AV asked while taunting the girls.
"NEVER!!! YOU'LL NEVER GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!" SNT shouted as she shook her body left and right, trying her hardest to break free from the ropes.
"SNT, is that the blue screen memory dump you were warning us about?!!!" Daniela asked as she was looking down towards the blue pool.
"I DON'T WANT TO BE A VIRUS!!!" Maria cried,
Webroot smiled and crossed his arms as he enjoyed watching the girls squirm and struggle.
"Any last words... Team 182?" Virut smirked,
Nicole turned her head towards the ministers and shouted, "Yeah!!! Go f*k yourselves!!!"
Total AV looked at the girls unimpressed as he turned the book to the next page,
"These 4 beautiful maidens have refused to repent. These evil softwares were created in a laboratory by the one and only Doctor Eggman. As a result, tis only fair to send these kinds of software... BACK TO HELL WHERE THEY BELONG!!!" Shouted Total AV as he closed the book and snapped his fingers.
Just then, the nanobots began to push the rope forward which caused the 4 girls to be lowered closer and closer into the blue screen pool.
"Well, this is the end..." Daniela said as she began to shed some tears.
"Goodbye Daniela, Nicole... Maria, I'm gonna miss you!!!" SNT sobbed,
"GOODBYE SNT!!!" Maria yelled as she cried her heart out,
Nicole just bowed her head and remained silent for a moment to accept her fate.
But all of a sudden, a shadow appeared above them, the girls looked up and saw Void Ranger using his sword to scratch the walls as he slid down towards the girls.
He then bounced off the wall and cut the ropes causing the girls to fall into the blue screen pool.
Void quickly grabbed the ropes and pulled the girls away from the pool with all his might.
But as he grabbed onto the ropes that were pulling the girls away to safety, he felt a force pulling him back.
He looked down and saw Gigabot, who was in very bad shape after being the only nanobot who survived the attack on his armored ship hours ago. Gigabot pulled onto Void's leg as he tried to pull him down in the blue screen in order to send him to his death.
Realizing what was happening, SNT lowered her head and bit the ropes tied to her tails. She then began to spin her tails as fast as she could. And the force of her spinning tails was just enough to carry as many people as she could. Void quickly kicked the Gigabot in the face; causing the gold nanobot to trip backwards and fall into the blue screen pool. SNT then used all of her power to fly the group away from the blue screen and into safety.
Once the girls were away from the pool, Void proceeded to untie the girls one at a time.
Once Void finished untying the girls, they all grabbed on to him and sobbed on his shoulders.
"Void, oh Void. Thank goodness!!! Not only did you save me, but you saved all of us!!!" SNT cried as she held onto his neck and kissed his cheek.
"Come here you cute little robot!!! I just wanna hug you forever!!!" Maria cried as she nuzzled onto Void's left shoulder.
Soon enough, Daniela was the first to stop crying.
"Void ranger, how did you know where to find us?" She asked,
"And where are those anti-virus softwares you promised us?" Nicole asked,
"Ladies, please calm down. One question at a time. The anti-viruses are waiting for us at the docks. And to answer your question Daniela... Let's just say that I brought some help." Void answered,
"MARIA!!!" Shadow shouted as he ran towards her,
"Shadow!!! I missed you so much!!!" Maria cried as she ran to him and kissed him,
"SILVER!!! Is it really you?! I'm so happy that you came for me!!!" Daniela yelled as she and Silver both ran towards each other and began to kiss.
"Daniela!!! Oh Daniela, I'll always love you!!!" Silver responded as he was excited to see her again,
"Hey Nicole, did those robot jerks hurt you?!!!" Sonic shouted as he ran towards her.
But instead of running towards Sonic, she stepped to the side and stretched her foot forward, causing Sonic to trip over and fall face first to the floor.
"That's for being a jerk!!!" Nicole shouted,
Nicole then grabbed Sonic by his chest and kissed him, "And that is for saving my life. Honestly though, you have no idea how much I wanted to use Amy's hammer against you." Nicole confessed,
As the hedgehogs and Team 182 were having their romantic moments together, SNT walked behind Void and wanted to have a moment of privacy with the blue robot.
"Hey blue boy, look behind you." SNT said while flirting,
As Void turned around to look at SNT, she quickly grabbed Void's neck and kissed him,
"Thank you for rescuing me and my friends Void, you're my life saver." She complimented.
"I'm always happy to help SNT. But I'm afraid this adventure still isn't over. We still need to get out of this military base as soon as possible." Void said looking nervous while holding SNT's hands.
SNT nodded yes as they then took up their fighting stances while staring towards the evil ministers who were still present in the room; watching everything unfold.
Total AV turned his back away from Void and SNT and gave Webroot his final orders,
"Minister Virut, install Elite and finish them." Total AV ordered as he made his escape by walking through a computer ad teleporter.
Acknowledging Total AV's orders, Webroot picked up a nearby megaphone and shouted,
"Nanobots, you heard the minister, deploy Elite and take them down!!!"
The nanobots all walked towards a couple of computers positioned near the courtyard and began to type on their keyboards the procedure to install Elite onto the system.
Suddenly, the entire military base began to shake wildly; as if Genesis was having an earthquake.
As the tremors grew stronger and stronger, Void grabbed onto SNT as she closed her eyes held onto him for dear life, the other girls soon followed suit as they all held onto the 3 hedgehogs.
Once the shaking finally stopped, emerging from the blue screen pool, was a giant 3 headed worm with crowns on it's head, metal armor on it's body and a red visor in it's eyes.
The heroes were all terrified to see the monster that stood between them and the exit.
"So, this 3 headed worm... is Elite." Void said as he looked up towards the worm looking scared as ever.
With no time to lose, Void quickly turned to the 3 hedgehogs for assistance.
"Sonic, Shadow and Silver, get SNT and Team 182 out of here!!! I'll handle this pathetic freak of nature." Void shouted as he drew his sword towards Elite.
"NO!!! I won't lose you!!!" Cried SNT as she grabbed onto him, "If you're gonna fight Elite, then I'll fight along with you!!!"
Void pulled SNT's waist closer to look her deep into her eyes,
"SNT, listen to me. Your friends are more important. You have to take good care of them, do you understand me? You need to help Sonic get them out of here!!!" Void shouted,
Unable to hold back, SNT began to cry as she kissed his cheek,
"Good luck against Elite... please be careful... and please come back alive." She said as she was shedding tears.
"Don't worry SNT, I'll be back. I promise." Void responded as he planted a kiss to her lips,
SNT and her friends then began to make their escape from the military base; the same way the hedgehogs entered. Thus, leaving Void ranger behind to face the Elite worm.
Standing his ground, and with no one by his side this time, Void lifted his sword and took up his fighting stance as Elite slithered closer and closer.
"Alright Elite... Show me what makes you different than the average worm!!!" He shouted,
And with that, Void's most difficult virus battle had begun.
Elite slithered towards Void as he ran towards the worm with his sword in hand,
but before Void could slash or stab the worm to deliver some damage, the worm quickly raised it's head and headbutted Void to the ground at top speed.
As Void slowly returned to his feet, the worm then jumped into the air and slammed it's body onto poor Void.
The worm then quickly slammed Void repeatedly into the wall like a game of ping pong, with Void being the ball and only one player.
The worm even went as far as to grab Void with it's mouth and slam him to the ground stomach first.
Poor Void was losing, not only was he getting his rear end re-arranged, but this was also the very first time he fought a piece of malware that was much more dangerous than Magistr.
The worm then jumped into the air and slammed it's body down onto Void once again.
When poor Void returned to his feet. An armored vehicle driven by Webroot and a couple of nanobots drove into the area where Void was fighting Elite.
Webroot reached into his side compartment and pulled out a KA57 Sovette pencil gun. He then placed the gun under his arm and opened fire towards Void, sending a hail of Stuxnet capsules to attack him and cause his armor to explode.
"AHHHHH!!!" Shouted Void as he collapsed to the floor,
Once Void collapsed, Webroot laughed as the nanobots floored the armored vehicle away from the battle in hopes to make their escape.
Meanwhile, back at the pirate ship, as Minister Norton continued tending to the injuries that the pirates suffered after the ship battle that occurred yesterday. He then heard the sound of Void screaming in pain.
Without second thoughts, Norton quickly bandaged up the pirate's injuries he was taking care of, and ran towards the deck where he abandoned his post and ran off into the military base.
"Hey Norton!!! WAIT!!! Where are you going?!!!" Shouted ClamWin as she watched Norton run off into the military base.
"Mistress ClamWin!!!" SNT shouted as she was happy to see her.
ClamWin raised her arm and gestured the animals to get inside the pirate ship as quickly as possible. "Cmon girls, get inside this instant!!! You'll all be safe here." ClamWin shouted as Sonic and his friends ran onto the deck and took shelter.
Before joining her friends, SNT slowly walked towards the edge of the deck towards the military base and began to wonder, "Void Ranger, where are you?"
Back at the military base, the Elite worm continued its assault on poor Void such as jumping into the air and slammed its body down on him. Grabbing Void with its mouth and slamming him to the ground stomach first. Raising it's head to headbutt him. And slamming Void towards the wall like a game of ping pong.
Losing hope and running out of time. Void bent down on his knees in pain and slowly began to ponder.
"Dammit, how in the hell am I supposed to delete this thing?!!!" Void contemplated if he had finally met his match.
All of a sudden, Void suddenly remembered a trick that Norton taught him.
Void reached for the Sonar protection glasses that he took from the academy and looked at them while trying to remember.
"Sonar advanced protection. The latest innovation of the U.A.V. Tis the very latest and greatest defense mechanism for advanced detection and removal." Norton announced as he waved his arm towards Void,
Norton then stepped on to the podium and began to explain the functions of Sonar and how it will shape the virus war for many years to come,
"Now usually, standard detection rules imply that every anti-virus must perform a system scan in order to detect and remove all viruses found on the system. Once completed, the computer would have to be cleaned out in order to remove any remaining traces of malware left behind. Now imagine if this whole process is entirely automated for you." Said Norton as he used his remote to show off some slideshows of the standard virus removal process.
"If in about 20 years from now, Sonar advanced protection becomes the industry standard for all anti-viruses, then we can just sit back, relax and enjoy a nice cold glass of ale while Sonar completes the job for us." Norton announced as the programmers and ministers cheered for their superior.
When Void's memories finally faded away, he stared once again at the glasses.
"Sonar advanced protection, of course. I can use Sonar to fight the Elite worm and delete it from existence." Void said as he was having a revelation.
But he immediately began to have second thoughts of putting the glasses on, he shook his head no.
"No. I cannot do this!!! Regardless what Norton promises, Sonar still goes against the rules and regulations of the academy. Plus if I want to pass my next exam, Sonar will be prohibited at all times. I have to defeat this worm the way the U.A.V academy intended"
Void slowly returned to his feet and raised his sword towards the worm.
He then began to walk towards the worm as he swung wildly in hopes to slash the virus.
But because the worm had deep learning features integrated into its codes, It already knew exactly what Void was trying to do and simply just slithered away from Void as he continued to swing his sword around left and right diagonally.
The worm then proceeded to jump in the air and slam its body onto Void,
But Void caught on to Elite's pattern and slid under the worm to avoid its attack.
Upon returning to his feet, Void thought. "If I have to beat Elite, I have to use his deep learning mechanism against him... By beating him at his own game."
As the worm prepared to tackle Void into the wall for round 3 of ping pong, Void quickly rolled out of the way and loaded a thermal clip into the base of his sword.
He then aimed his sword towards the worm and fired an energy beam, causing a direct hit to the worm... Or so Void thought,
Void was shocked to discover the worm was still standing and unaffected by his attack,
"The stealth mechanism..." Void quickly remembered, "Contains anti-debugging features, which makes detection and removal impossible to destroy."
As Void stood still while trying to process Elite's capabilities, the worm raised it's head and headbutted Void back to the ground twice; causing serious injury.
"AHHHH!!!" Shouted Void as he laid on the ground in pain,
"VOID RANGER!!!" Yelled a familiar voice coming from the distance,
It was Minister Norton, and he was running towards the Elite worm with his sword in hand, as Norton continued running, he loaded a thermal clip into the base of his sword and fired an energy beam towards Elite.
The worm finally lifted it's head in pain as it jumped over the wall and began to slither away from Norton.
Once the worm escaped, Norton bent down towards Void and helped him back to his feet,
"Void Ranger, are you alright? More importantly, are you nuts?!!! Don't you realize that it's too dangerous to fight zero-day malware without Sonar protection?!!!
Don't you realize that using Sonar protection could have saved your life from that evil monstrosity?!!! Without Sonar, you would have blue screened to your death." Norton yelled as he checked Void's body for injuries.
Void bowed his head in sadness and hugged the minister,
"Forgive me Norton. I was just practicing for the next exam of virus detection and removal. The U.A.V rules and regulations clearly state that Sonar advanced protection is prohibited at all times during the second exam!!!" Void responded as he began to cry,
"Void listen to me. To hell with the U.A.V and their exams. Right now, your safety is my highest priority. Do you understand?!!!" Minister Norton shouted as he held Void's cheeks and gave him a stern look,
Void finally stopped sobbing as he slowly nodded his head yes,
"And now we must leave this hell hole before more viruses show up to infect us." Norton shouted as he picked up Void who was injured as he tried to carry him out of the military base.
"Don't worry Void, I'm here to get you out of here." Norton promised as he carried Void towards the exit,
Suddenly, as Norton carried Void into the garage of the base, Norton and Void immediately took heavy fire by Stuxnet capsules, which caused them to explode and fall to the ground.
"Ahh Void and Norton, welcome to the beginning of the end for the U.A.V. We hope you both enjoy your permanent stay here in Genesis. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!" Laughed an evil familiar voice that only Void and Norton knew too well,
Down, but still not out. Norton and Void slowly opened their eyes to see the Elite worm slowly enter the room as it was slithering towards them. And riding the Elite worm on its body like a horse was their old friend; now turned enemy Virut. And he was armed with his sword and a KA57 pencil gun.
As both Norton and Void struggled to get back on their feet, Sonic radioed in through Norton's walkie talkie to communicate with Void,
"Hey Void, the girls are finally safe and sound, but where are you right now?" Sonic asked.
"VOID, PLEASE BE OKAY!!!" Cried SNT as she began to talk over Sonic looking worried.
"Sonic, you fool!! Find Captain Cyber and order him to set sail off this island and keep the girls away from Optical Illusions, do you understand me?!!!" Void shouted in pain,
There was a moment of dead silence coming from the walkie talkie, until Sonic finally responded,
"Very well Void, if that's how it's gonna be... so be it. Take care of yourself out there, and kick their butts."
"VOID!!! NOOOOOO!!!" Cried SNT as Sonic hang up the call; causing her cry to be cut off by static.
Void and Norton then slowly returned to their feet to confront Webroot,
"Minister Webroot... why? Why did you betray us like this?" Norton asked,
Virut quickly hopped off the Elite worm and began to pace in a circle around both Void and Norton.
"Would you both like to know why? All of my life, I have dedicated my skills and knowledge towards the United Anti-Virus movement.
For many years; since the very birth of our academy, both you and ClamWin were well known anti-virus softwares that end users trusted all over the world. Did I ever get any recognition for all my hard work and effort since being part of the U.A.V? I THINK NOT!!!" Roared Webroot,
Void and Norton then drew their swords and aimed them towards Webroot.
"So you became rogue software in retaliation. A malicious piece of internet fraud that misleads users to pay for fake malware removal tools in order to install more malware onto a victim's computer!!!" Norton chimed in,
"Wow, you really held a grudge against the U.A.V didn't you?" Void asked while looking surprised,
Webroot turned around and pointed his sword towards Void,
"Honestly, you have no idea how much hell I went through just to become a minister for this Vindock awful academy. I PASSED ALL 4 EXAMS ADMINISTERED BY THE U.A.V!! AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET?!!!" Roared Webroot,
Webroot then lowered his sword and quickly calmed down as he continued to pace in a circle around his enemies.
"Norton, you were ranked the very first minister of the U.A.V out of the other 62 with 5 stars. Second was ClamWin, she was the 45th minister and the first female mistress... 3 stars. But because her codes are open sourced, she's still decent for anti-virus software.
...And then there's me, Webroot. I was once ranked number 18 on Macrosoft's anti-virus awards with 4 stars. And yet, not a single form of recognition was awarded to me for my skills and effort!!!" Webroot shouted,
As Void and Norton walked towards Webroot to try and apprehend him, Elite jumped in the air and slammed it's body onto both Void and Norton, injuring them in the process.
Webroot then walked towards the injured robots and continued his monologuing.
"So I decided to enroll into a different academy in hopes to improve my training to hopefully surpass you. And from there... I met my best friend and longtime business partner for over 40 years... Total AV.
Together, we engineered the perfect rogue anti-virus ever created in the history of malware... You, Void Ranger." Webroot said with a smile.
Void and Norton both became shocked as they both squirmed and backed away to the wall.
"Excuse me?!!" Void shouted,
"Yes Void, I was there when Total AV created you. I was there when he gave you your very own virus name... Win32.Void.ThorF."
Void slowly nodded his head no as he was still in shock while still trying to process what Webroot had told him.
"Yes Void, you are the perfect virus. You are the rogue software that should have infected millions of computers worldwide. And we would have succeeded too... If it wasn't for your mother." Growled Webroot.
"Yes, I remember now, the day... she bought... me..." Void said in shock as he was having another revelation.
As Void was having his revelation, Norton quickly got back to his feet and drew his sword towards Webroot,
"So... you created Void Ranger as a rogue anti-virus. A virus that infects all software. And along with the dev codes you both carried... you distributed Void's payloads to the computer world; resulting in death and destruction of any poor unfortunate soul who attempted to disassemble his codes?!!!" Norton shouted,
As Norton swung his sword ready to strike, Webroot struck back by open firing on Norton with his KA57 pencil gun; causing Norton to explode and fall to the floor once again.
"Yes minister Norton, I distributed Void's payloads. And every victim that tried to inspect his codes fell victim to his destructive power."
Webroot then began to walk to the center of the room with Void and Norton closely following him,
"You see Void Ranger, when Total AV and I unleashed your destructive payloads to the world, we knew we had a winning formula on our hands. But we needed some test subjects to make this possible. As of now, everyone who tried to alter your dev codes have blue screened to their death."
Filled with rage, Void boosted towards Virut with his sword in hand, but Webroot immediately caught on to what Void was trying to do,
Webroot quickly turned around and threw a thunderous punch towards Void's face, causing Void to fly 6 feet away from Virut, and land towards Norton.
"You dare attack me while my back is turned?!!! How pathetic!!! Now I may still be an anti-virus of the U.A.V, but my scripting language is far different compared to yours." Webroot bragged,
Suddenly, the Elite virus slowly slithered towards Webroot. He then walked towards the worm and began to pet it's head as the worm began to purr.
Norton was furious to see what Webroot just did and began to shout,
"Did you just lay your hands on that virus? Are you aware that virus interaction goes against the rules and regulations of the U.A.V?!!! And that this violation can result in 15 years in quarantine?!!!"
Webroot walked towards Norton and looked him dead in the eye.
"Yes. I am well aware of the rules and regulations minister Norton. And yet, I couldn't care less at this point.
I've achieved so much to watch my own creation transform into the ultimate virus hybrid in history. And I'm not gonna let you or that blue little runt take that moment away from me!!!" Virut roared.
Void slowly returned to his feet to resume his confrontation,
"So all this time... You were the suspect behind the Elite worm. You helped Total AV engineer the outage of Macrosoft Outbox. You sent those viruses after me and AVG when I was training at the academy.
You created my payloads so you can send my stepfather to fall into a downward spiral. You created the FunSoul worm to kidnap Team 182 and tried to sacrifice them to this monstrosity... And worst of all, you were responsible for my stepmother's death!!!
And now, here we stand. Norton, myself, you... and Elite." Void said as he aimed his sword towards Webroot,
"It's over Virut. We've seen enough!!! In the name of the United Anti-Virus movement, on behalf of all the victims affected by this atrocity... You're under arrest minister." Norton shouted as he also drew his sword towards Webroot.
Furious, Virut led out one final roar against his opponents, "TO HELL WITH THE UNITED ANTI-VIRUS MOVEMENT!!! ELITE, KILL!!!"
Virut then lifted his arm in the air and gestured for the Elite worm to attack the 2 robots.
The worm prepared itself by coiling up as it growled in disgust towards Void and Norton.
The worm then jumped up in the air and struck Norton head on as Void ran out of the way,
As Norton was down, Webroot walked towards the exit where he entered the password on a nearby keypad and triggered the self-destruct mechanism before unlocking the front door to make his escape.
"So long suckers!!!" Laughed Webroot as he opened the front door and ran off,
"Self-destruct in 60 seconds." Announced a robotic voice on the intercoms.
As the worm picked up Norton and attempted to body slam him to the ground, Void jumped on top of Elite and stabbed its head.
The worm lifted its head back in pain as it let out a mighty roar while dropping Norton onto the floor.
Norton then slowly returned to his feet. He then picked up the Elite worm and body slammed it onto the floor.
Void then jumped in the air once again and stabbed the worm's head for the second time.
Furious, and with no intention of holding back, the worm let out a mighty growl as it slowly began to slither towards Void.
Terrified, Void ran for cover and hid behind the nearby walls.
The worm then performed a super jump towards the ceiling, Elite then began to measure itself to prepare for a dive attack on the blue robot.
As Void quietly slid from wall to wall; by the time he reached the 3rd wall to take cover, the worm dove itself down and power slammed itself onto Void; causing massive damage.
The worm then once again picked him up by the mouth and slammed him stomach first onto the floor.
The worm then slammed Void repeatedly for the third timer into the walls and poor Void was down for the count.
"Self-destruct in 45 seconds." Announced the robotic voice once again.
As Void was getting slammed into the walls by Elite, Norton returned to his feet as quickly as possible and ran towards the worm where he sliced the worm on its side.
The worm coiled up in pain and gave out a loud roar.
Norton then performed a wall jump and landed on the worm where he stabbed the worm's head.
Injured and in pain, the worm coiled up once again and attempted to slither away from Norton,
But because Norton started to understand the deep learning mechanism of Elite, he grabbed the worm's tail and began to slam the worm to the floor left and right repeatedly.
Norton then swung the worm in circles, and with enough momentum, Norton lets go; causing the worm to crash into the wall.
Norton laughed as he was having lots of fun, he grabbed Elite's tail once again and swung it around and around until he let go, and the worm struck the wall a second time.
As Norton slowly approaches the worm with his sword aimed towards the worm, Void slowly returns to his feet and walks towards Norton to reunite with him.
"Void ranger, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Norton asked the blue robot as he pulled out his own Sonar glasses.
"Sonar advanced protection? Of course!!!" Void shouted as he grabbed the Sonar glasses,
Without question, both Minister Norton and Void quickly put on their Sonar glasses in unison, Void then quickly drew his sword and aimed it towards Elite.
Suddenly, inside the glasses. Void saw another fake anti-virus website, this time with the Elite virus standing in his way.
Void and Norton then stood side by side and locked their swords together as one.
Together in unison, both Void and Norton loaded their own thermal clips into the base of the sword,
"Ready?" Shouted Norton looking at his pupil,
"Ready!!!" Void answered while looking back at his teacher,
As Void and Norton were preparing for their ultimate attack, Elite tried one final attempt to jump forward and bite the anti-viruses,
"OPEN FIRE!!!" Norton roared as 2 energy beams shot out from their swords. The beams finally struck the Elite worm and caused it to finally disintegrate into binary coded blood.
Void and Norton slowly approached what was left of the worm as they slowly removed their Sonar glasses.
"We did it Void, we did it... Elite has been destroyed." Norton said as he tried to catch his breath,
"We sure did minister, we sure did." Void acknowledged while also out of breath.
Norton then bowed his head looking disappointed, "Now if only the rest of the U.A.V can witness the true benefits that Sonar has to offer."
Void placed his hand on Norton's shoulder, "Minister Norton, if Sonar can be accepted as one of many anti-virus tools, I hope there will be a new rule in the near future that can allow for Sonar protection to be included during the exams."
Norton chuckled, "If Sonar was to be allowed in the exams, I would have no problems promoting you with flying colors. But we both already know that that's never gonna happen. It will take an iron fist to make Sonar a standard protocol within the U.A.V."
"Understood minister." Void responded as he bowed down to him, "Also minister. Before I forget, can you please do me a favor?"
Norton bent down on his knees and gestured for Void to whisper in his ear,
"We couldn't have done any of this without Hacker's help. But since the last 30 years, he's still been a student at the U.A.V academy and he never passed his graduation exam. Would it be too extreme if..." Void continued as his whispering was suddenly cut short as Norton stood back on his feet.
"All we can do for now, is sit back and wait." Norton responded as he and Void looked down and continued to watch what was left of the Elite worm.
"Amen to that minister, amen to that. Now c'mon, let's get the hell out of here, shall we?" Void asked as he looked up towards Norton,
Norton nodded and both robots ran out towards the exit looking as happy as ever.
"Self-destruct in 10 seconds." Announced the robotic voice for the third and final time on the intercoms.
As Void and Norton ran towards the pirate ship where everyone was waiting for them, the military base exploded behind them; causing a mushroom cloud of smoke and fire as the military base disintegrated within the explosion.
"Norton, Void!!!" SNT cried happily as her friends gathered around as everyone gave the robots a big round of applause,
Happy to see the blue robot safe and sound, SNT ran towards Void as he picked her up and swept her off her feet.
"Oh Void, I missed you so much, I thought I would never see you again!!!" SNT yelled as she and Void locked eyes.
"Oh SNT, I'm so glad your safe. I missed you so much!!!" Void responded as he held onto SNT's neck,
Both Void and SNT then gave each other a passionate kiss. Followed by Sonic, Shadow, Silver and the girls of Team 182 gathering around the couple, they all gave each other a group hug in celebration.
Meanwhile, Minister Norton walked towards Captain Cyber and Anchor and shook their hands, he then approached Virus and his henchmen and bowed before them.
"Well done gentlemen, the war is over." Norton whispered towards the captain and his right-hand pirate,
"Arrg, you mean that blistering barnacle Elite is no more?" Cyber asked as he tried to process what was happening.
"Indeed captain, you and your crew should all be very proud."
"Hehehehehe. Thank you sir, most appreciated." Anchor laughed,
Norton then approached Hacker and snapped his fingers as a random pirate stepped forward while holding a graduation hat and a diploma.
Shocked and surprised by what was happening, everyone gathered around to witness the unexpected graduation ceremony.
"By the power invested in me, and all the ministers of the United Anti-Virus movement. I hereby congratulate you for completing your final graduation exam. By helping us destroy the Elite virus. We of the U.A.V wish you, congratulations... Minister Immunet." Norton shouted as he placed the graduation hat on Hacker's head and offered him the diploma.
Hacker looked speechless as he did not expect any of this to happen.
He slowly took off the hat and looked at his diploma carefully before looking up to Norton, "But minister Norton, I don't understand..."
But Norton cut him off by lifting his hand, gesturing him not to speak. Norton then waved his hand towards Void who let out a huge smile.
Hacker then looked back art Norton and asked him, "What... what is the meaning of this?"
Norton then bent down towards Hacker and responded, "It's been 30 years since you remained a student for the U.A.V. By helping us complete this mission of setting up the firewalls here on this ship, to detecting Webroot back at the academy which led us to delete the Elite worm.
And although you were never aware about any of this, as you were tending to the injuries of those wounded the next day, you were actually disassembling and recovering as many codes as possible during this time period. And that alone is impressive enough to award you this." Norton responded as he grabbed Hacker's hand holding his diploma and placed the hand towards his chest.
Surprised and on the verge of crying, Hacker jumped onto Norton and gave him a big hug,
Norton hesitated at first, but eventually embraced the love and support that Hacker gave him over the last 30 years. With that said, Norton smiled and finally hugged him back.
Once the hug was over, Hacker walked towards Void as they both hugged each other,
"Listen to me you son of a b*h, you deserve this reward for all your hard work and effort over the last 30 years, do you understand me minister?" Void whispered into Immunet's ear,
"Thank you Void, I'll cherish this day for the rest of my life." Hacker whispered back as he and Void hugged it out like best friends forever.
Hacker then began to shed tears as rival Virus and his 2 henchmen ran towards him and gave him a group hug.
"Come here my favorite arch nemesis!!!" Shouted Virus as they hugged it out together,
"So minister Immunet. Now that you're finally a minister after 30 long years, do you happen to have an opening in the U.A.V headquarters for me and my buddies here?" Virus asked,
"Well... that depends, how good are you all with virus culture?" Immunet asked,
Virus and his henchmen suddenly drew a blank as they looked at each other. They all had zero experience with virus culture.
"Well then, Minister Norton!!! Get me 3 signup sheets when we get back!!! Looks like we have 3 new students who wish to join the academy!!" Immunet shouted towards Norton.
Finally, Norton ran towards ClamWin who was waiting for him by the edge of the ship,
ClamWin walked towards Norton as Norton approached her simultaneously,
With no turning back, Norton and ClamWin held onto each other and finally kissed for the very first time.
ClamWin was impressed, "So minister Norton. Howe long have you been keeping this secret?"
"Probably 40 years since we first met?" He responded while smirking, Norton and ClamWin then kissed each other once again.
After the kiss, Norton then walked up next to the steering wheel to lift his hands up in the air to get everyone's attention.
"I would just like to say a few words. I have a dream that one day, the virus war will finally come to an end. That software will repel against the evil forces of every last virus, spyware and other forms of malware. And that virus syndicates will no longer quarrel with the United Anti-Virus movement.
Tomorrow begins a brand-new day, and with a new day dawning... I have a dream. A dream that fate will help us repel the councils of despair, and bring new light into the darkest chambers of law and order. The black-market eBay included.
It will be a glorious day as the stars in the sky will sing together in perfect harmony!!! And so, in conclusion. The entire pirate crew then drew their swords into the air and shouted in unison, "Three cheers for the U.A.V!!! Huzzah!!! Huzzah!!! Huzzah!!!"
As the crew cheered on, everyone on board gave Norton a round of applause as Void, his friends and all of Cyber's crew celebrated their victory after finally defeating Optical Illusions once again.
Finally, Anchor stepped into the middle of the deck and broke out into song and dance once again,

Norton and his fellow U.A.V members clapped along to the beat as the entire crew chimed in to sing in a chorus as everyone grabbed their partners and began to dance the night away in happiness and perfect harmony.
Eventually, everyone joined in to sing along and dance to the chicken song. Sonic and Nicole were square dancing together, Shadow and Maria were elbow swinging in circles, Daniela and Silver were break dancing.
As for Void and SNT, they ballroom danced together; just as they danced when they first met back in quarantine last year.
And with their quest finally over, everyone danced, cheered and celebrated the night away.
