Monday would come as Ivypool woke up in her hotel room, she didn't know what was happening as it was partially empty, looking at the time, she knew what was happening, they were packing up and heading out.
"Honeyfern? What is happening, where has everyone gone off to?" Ivypool asked. Honeyfern was busy with her fur as she looked at Ivypool as she was asking that question.
"Well we need to be out at eleven at the latest and it's nine thirty already so you must've overslept. Poppyfrost and Blossomfall are packing the truck up as we are going to the next hotel. It's the one with the dolphins in it." Honeyfern responded. Ivypool got up as she wandered over to her table and grabbed a small breakfast packet and began to prepare it. "Molewhisker's next door as there is something wrong with one of his paws and he's packed up and ready to go. Dovewing and Cherryfall are helping out so we're going to be escorting the tom down." Honeyfern told Ivypool as she began to eat her breakfast.
"Yeah I heard he isn't in good shape, possibly from all of the walking he's done from the last two days, I swear to Starclan that us cats should have shoes." Ivypool mewed as she continued to eat up. Honeyfern appeared as she decided to head next door to see how Molewhisker was holding up. Honeyfern exited the room as she went next door and began to knock on it. "Hello, Molewhisker, it's me." Within a moment the door opened as Molewhisker was hobbling around on just three paws.
"Ah! My paw." Molewhisker whined as he was clearly in agony. Honeyfern looked at him as she began speaking to him.
"Yeah I understand you're in pain, hopefully we should be able to have lunch and find you something to help ease your pain." Honeyfern looked down to the injured paw as it seemed to be a combination of red and black. "Oh looks like you banged it on something and the reason why you're in pain. Me and Poppyfrost would need to check on that when we get to the next hotel room. Well, I should help you pack then."
"I've already packed up most of my stuff, I just need to get the electronics away and we agreed that we will meet at the outside of the hotel room." Molewhisker replied as they began to pack up what was left. The trip was going to be a short one but they were going to need to get to the next room when it was ready. Once done, the two cats began heading out. Ivypool should be finished and hopefully packed.
The three cats had gathered what was left of their luggage as they were now waiting at the front door of the hotel. Blossomfall's truck pulled up shortly afterward as the door opened and the remaining cats began to board.
"Everything is packed and one of Molewhisker's paws isn't looking too good, we need to get that cleaned off and hopefully ointment on there as I feel like it will reduce some of the pain and possibly the swelling." Honeyfern told Poppyfrost and Blossomfall as they began to settle in.
"Okay we should have some time to kill and I heard what happened to Molewhisker's paw. We should hopefully find a pharmacy around the area and buy some supplies and get that checked out." Poppyfrost told the others as Blossomfall began to drive away.
"Yeah the paw was red and black, it looked hard so we might need to clean that up hopefully." Honeyfern responded as Blossomfall continued to drive.
"Okay let's see any nearby pharmacies we can go to if we are to get help for him." Blossomfall told them as she continued driving.
"There's one where we're heading to tomorrow not too far off, looks like there is some place to eat next to it so we might grab an early lunch. Don't know about dinner." Honeyfern told them as they didn't know how long this was going to take but they knew Molewhisker's paw had to come first.
Fortunately, the Pharmacy wasn't too far away as it was where they were heading next and where they'll be staying for the next couple of days. Blossomfall parked the truck as Honeyfern and Poppyfrost helped Molewhisker inside of the pharmacy and began to head to the back. Blossomfall and the others looked around as they were beginning to take note of where they wanted to eat.
"Well there is a place next door though it's a sit-in and we don't know how long they are going to be?" Dovewing pointed to where they planned on eating. Cherryfall and Ivypool looked around as they liked the idea.
"Yeah but we might as well go inside and see what we can get for snacks and maybe Molewhisker will be alright. He was in pain as of last night." Ivypool told the others as she wanted to see the condition of her friend.
"I know, I think we should check up on them. Blossomfall, you and Dovewing figure out what we are going to eat, we're going to check on our friend." Cherryfall gave her the orders as the two of them entered the pharmacy. Blossomfall saluted while Dovewing was on her phone.
Molewhisker was brought to the entrance where one of the she-cats working behind the counter was sorting prescriptions. She turned to the three cats as they had walked up to the front counter.
"How can I help you?" She asked them. Poppyfrost and Honeyfern were busy trying to keep Molewhisker standing as she began to speak.
"One of Molewhisker's paws isn't in good shape, I was wondering if you were going to take a look at it to see what's wrong and what we can do about it?" Poppyfrost told her. The She-cat looked at them and nodded.
"Okay let me see what I can do." She mewed. She then guided the cats into the back as she was going to take an examination. "Okay you can lay him down here." Poppyfrost and Honeyfern did so as the She-cat began to clean up his paws to see what was going on.
"Okay so you're going to ask us any questions?" Honeyfern asked as she watched the She-cat work on his paws.
"Yeah that's it. How long has this been going on for?" She asked when did they start noticing this.
"About last night, he told us that one of his paws had been aching and it turned out it's pretty beaten up so we came to you wondering if there were any solutions to what was going on." Poppyfrost gave the answer as the paws were clean. The she-cat continued to inspect the paw as she turned with a bit of a worried look on her face.
"Well his paw is red and has several deep cuts in it from most likely walking on something rough. The good news is that these cuts aren't infected and he will recover but don't do anything rough with him like any form of walking until his paw recovers." She mewed as she got out the ointment she used to treat injuries such as this. She placed some on one of her paws and began rubbing the injured paw up. "This is supposed to heal it up within a day or two. If it starts getting beaten up again, you know where to find this."
"Okay thank you." Poppyfrost responded as she got out an ace bandage and began wrapping the paw up so the ointment could help heal the paw.
"Your kit will have to limp on three paws for the next day or two so try not taking him out on any rough activities." She told them what was going to happen until he recovered.
"That's fine, good thing we had an empty schedule today." Poppyfrost responded as the she-cat was finishing wrapping his paw up.
"You can keep the ace bandage but the ointment is in the medicine aisle so pick that up on your way out." She mewed as she placed the bandage clips on to hold it in place.
"Thank you so much." Poppyfrost responded as she decided to head out while Honeyfern took care of the costs. Molewhisker limped after her as they were going to grab what they needed and have lunch.
Poppyfrost was busy picking up the ointment as Molewhisker limped along to meet up with Cherryfall and Ivypool as they were deciding on what snacks they should get for the next room.
"I like this caramel popcorn but what should we get, cashew or Almond and Pecan?" Cherryfall asked as she wanted to get something as a snack. Molewhisker peeked his head over as Ivypool was thinking of what they should take.
"Why not both, I think Molewhisker would be excited when he learns we got something for him." Ivypool responded as she began taking some of the stuff and they were going to combine them all so they could pay for it.
"Hey look like you're picking stuff out for the room huh?" Molewhisker asked.
"Yeah it's one room according to Blossomfall as there is enough to sleep all of us." Cherryfall told her brother as she noticed his paw had been wrapped up in a bandage.
"So we're getting something for the room and we should pay. Blossomfall has told us a table is ready." Poppyfrost told the others as they made their way to the checkout counter while Honeyfern went to wait for them at the entrance.
"Okay we should be good, let's go get something to eat." Cherryfall responded as the cats left the pharmacy with Molewhisker limping behind them.
It would be another hour when they arrived at the hotel room they were designated for. They were up on the last floor as Molewhisker went to the couch as he wanted to rest. He knew his paw was going to take time to heal and he didn't want to go wrecking it. The others were looking around the room as they were amazed.
"This might be the best hotel room we have ever been to so far." Blossomfall began as she turned to her right to see a kitchen was inside of it.
"Yeah I know, well since we're not going to be going out as Molewhisker's paw needs to heal, I might as well get us a little something for dinner." Poppyfrost responded as Molewhisker opened his laptop and plugged it in.
"Thank goodness the charger is still working." Molewhisker sighed with relief. He was going to relax the rest of the day and give some time to rest. The other cats were busy settling into their rooms as today was the rest day but tomorrow was the big day.
The next day would come as some of the cats had made their way down to see what the breakfast was going to look like. Others like Molewhisker, Ivypool and Poppyfrost were inspecting the paw to make sure it was in good condition so he could walk on it.
"Well I think your paw is good enough, if any more scratches are reported, then we could use the ointment again and therefore you can continue." Poppyfrost mewed as the paw was looking okay to her.
"Okay today is the day we go swimming with the animals." Molewhisker mewed as he was excited for this.
"Okay and it's a lot of sand as well so it should feel good on your paws but try your best to limp so your paw doesn't get ripped up." Poppyfrost mewed as the three cats began to make their way down to the bottom floor.
Blossomfall and the others were waiting as they wanted to see what they could find before they took off. They weren't impressed. Three cats appeared as they wanted to find out what to do.
"Breakfast doesn't look good but free breakfast is offered at the place so we're not entirely hungry I should say." Blossomfall told them that they're better off eating there than here.
"I agree." Honeyfern mewed, the seven cats began to make their way to the truck as they were going to the cove to go for the swim.
The Cove wasn't very far away. It was mostly a short drive. Upon entering, the cats were taking a look around and they were wondering what they were going to do first, whether it was going to see the animals or go swimming with them. They were moreover excited for the event that was going to come later in the day. The truck pulled up as Blossomfall decided to let everyone disembark.
"I'm going to park the truck somewhere close and then I'll meet you inside. Get on line and hopefully I can meet you there." Blossomfall then drove off as she was going to look for a spot. The six remaining cats went into the building as they were going to wait for their place before venturing into the place. It was early in the morning so the lines were thankfully short. They got up to the desk as Poppyfrost began speaking.
"Hey we came here for the day as we will be heading to go swim with the dolphins, when will that happen?" Poppyfrost asked, wondering when they were going to do that.
"That will come at three and it's nine in the morning so for now you have a six hour window to do whatever else you want." The cat working the front desk told them when they were going to have their big event. Poppyfrost nodded as the cat counted them up as she noticed something. "I see you have six cats yet seven tickets, where's the last cat?" She asked as she wanted to figure out what was going on.
"The seventh cat went to park the truck so we're waiting on her." Poppyfrost responded. Blossomfall suddenly came running in as she was out of breath. She didn't want to get left behind.
"Sorry for being late, the parking lots are beginning to fill up." Blossomfall told them as she noticed the crowd that was coming in.
"It's fine, we just got you checked in and we're going to go walking around the place, hopefully we can see something nice and cool." Poppyfrost responded as the cats were ready to begin their journey. But before they could take a step, the cat at the front desk decided to remind them of something.
"Before you can go into the water, swim-suits are needed, this is to prevent any loose fur from getting all over the water and the fish." The cat reminded them. Getting this bit of information at hand, they began to make their way to where the swim-suits were.
"Well this place feels like a resort." Dovewing began as this was something she was more accustomed to. The cats continued to wander around as they knew they needed to get something to eat.
"Let's find something to eat first before we can go for a swim, we don't want to end up hungry?" Honeyfern told them as they were going to have to get something to fuel themselves before they were to go hitting the water.
"I suppose so, we didn't eat as we left the room in a hurry." Poppyfrost responded. She then got out her phone as two parrots were resting on the branches heading along the walkway. With a click, she snapped a photo of them. They continued to walk.
"Yeah I didn't want to spend all day finding parking." Blossomfall mewed as they entered the building. The line for breakfast wasn't long but they knew they needed to grab what they needed and get out as the cats were grabbing the trays.
"Well everything here is free so we don't need to pay for it right?" Cherryfall asked if this was going to be the case.
"Well everything except for the merchandise as that needs to be purchased with money though." Blossomfall told Cherryfall what was free and what was not.
"Oh. Okay then." Blossomfall responded. They were taking what food they needed as well as something to wash it all down with. The cats went off to find tables. Once finding tables, they sat down and began to eat their food as they were deciding on what to do next.
"So we're thinking about getting the wet suits and we're going to be…?" Dovewing asked as the cats were busy eating.
"Swim with the fishes I believe, also there are sharks we can spot, they're enclosed in a separate tank so that's a good thing as we don't want them to go nibbling on our paws." Honeyfern told the others about what was going to happen. Molewhisker was busy with his breakfast as he looked up.
"Okay. Let's finish so we can get on our way." He mewed. The cats nodded as they finished their breakfast. Honeyfern decided to clean up after them as they were going to get their suits.
It was a couple minutes later as the cats were waiting in line to get what they needed. Some of the cats could barely contain their excitement while others were bored. Dovewing waited around as she was texting on her phone. Molewhisker was waiting impatiently as the line moved up again. Now it was their turn.
"Hey, how can I help you?" The cat working the area asked, wondering how she could help. The others looked at her as they began to speak.
"Yeah can I have seven suits for all of us as we plan on swimming with the dolphins later." Honeyfern began. The she-cat working the area with the suits began studying them to see what size they needed.
"Yeah let's see, any of you want a full suit?" She asked. Molewhisker knew a full suit would do him well as it would mean his fur wouldn't get all over the place.
"Me." Molewhisker called out. He ran up as he grabbed the suit and was eager to put it on. Poppyfrost grabbed hers and went after Molewhisker.
"Hey! Let me help!" Poppyfrost called out as she ran after her kit. They were going to help each other out. The two of them arrived in the changing room as Poppyfrost was watching Molewhisker struggle to get his own on. It seemed tight for a big fluffy cat such as himself, would need help. Poppyfrost entered as she began assisting him. "Okay get the legs up, I want you to be able to see you swim." Poppyfrost mewed as she began pulling it up around his legs. Once done, she then watched as his fluffy tail came on through. Poppyfrost then zippered him up as she looked at him happily.
"Looks like I'm happy in this even though my fur feels a little… compressed." Molewhisker replied as Poppyfrost was getting hers on.
"You still look lovely, my kit." She replied as the two of them went outside to meet up with the others. The goggles and snorkeling gear were handed to them by Honeyfern who was the fastest to get herself suited up.
"You forgot these." She mewed, she then handed the gear to them as the cats took them. Once everyone had been dressed, they began wandering to where they were going to swim with the fishes. Once they arrived, the cats looked ahead as there was quite a gathering of cats in the water as they were all preparing to swim.
"Okay let's find somewhere where we could place our towels down so we can dive in." Blossomfall told them as she was beginning to look for a suitable bunch of seats. She then found them albeit that they were pretty far off but it was something.
"Let's go!" Molewhisker called out as he ran for the water with Cherryfall and Ivypool dashing after them. The three cats then entered the artificial reef as they wanted to cool off. The others followed in as the cats were wandering around the reef.
"See anything yet?" Ivypool would ask as she looked around as she was puzzled thinking they were going to spot a fish in there.
"Hey look at that stingray over there!" Cherryfall would call out. Molewhisker and Ivypool raced on over as they spotted the small stingray swimming about in a different section of the so-called ocean. Molewhisker was preparing his snorkel as he looked at Ivypool.
"I wonder what we are going to spot out here." He asked as he placed his head below the water. Only a small tube remained visible above the surface as he began swimming around as he wanted to spot something. Within a moment, Molewhisker resurfaced as he had something to say. "Hey check it out, there's a lot of stuff we can see!" Molewhisker would once again dive under as he continued to swim. The others got their snorkels ready and dived under like submarines and began to swim around.
The three cats paddled around as there were wonders worth spotting, fish swimming about in the clear waters, and they ranged in size from the length of a paw to the size of a cat's torso. They continued to swim as they were going to figure out what they could spot. They then resurfaced to see that the others were behind them.
"Having a good time you three?" Honeyfern asked as she wanted to see if they were enjoying themselves. They were on the surface swimming about as well and following the three.
"Yeah there's a whole lot of stuff down there with so many fish." Cherryfall told the others as they looked around. Fortunately, the water was clear so the cats were able to see into the water right below them and they were amazed, so many fish swimming right around them.
"Yeah you're right there are so many fish around here!" Poppyfrost responded with astonishment. The seven cats looked up as some of the workers were feeding the fish, tossing out small pellets of food. The fish rushed up to the pellets and began to eat. The cats looked astonished by this.
"Looks like it's feeding time." Ivypool mewed as Molewhisker began swimming off. Ivypool followed behind as they were going to see where this adventure was going to take them.
"Around here!" Molewhisker called out as they continued to swim their way to the back. This was where all of the sharks were located. The others followed as they swam their way to the back.
Molewhisker and Ivypool dove down as they were right where the sharks were. Gazing at the sharks that were protected from behind the glass. The sharks swam around as the others appeared behind them.
"So this is where the sharks are?" Poppyfrost asked as she was amazed.
"Yep, we're lucky that the sharks don't eat us." Molewhisker replied as they kept staring.
"I wonder what else is on the other side?" Blossomfall asked as she continued to swim by the sharks. The sharks were doing their own thing as the cats looked on ahead.
"Okay let's see what else we're able to find as the animals are fortunately not that hungry." Cherryfall would respond as they continued to swim around. They went to the front of where the rope was a couple of stingrays swam past the rope as they wanted to interact with them. Dovewing meanwhile was showing little interest in this when the stingray swamp up to her and splashed her.
"Lighten up. We will be happy." Blossomfall told Dovewing to enjoy the fun. Dovewing sighed as she looked at her.
"Well…" Dovewing turned her head up to see clouds beginning to gather over her. This meant one thing: "Well is it going to rain?" Dovewing asked as she wanted to see if it was.
"Let's hope not." Blossomfall responded as they knew they had other things they could be doing.
"Let's see what else we can do." Dovewing responded as they wanted to try all the other stuff before they were going to swim with the dolphins. The seven cats thinking they had enough began to get out of the water to decide on what they should do next to kill time.
Lunch time would roll around as the cats had looked to see themselves tired yet they had been pretty beaten up. Some of the cats sat down while Blossomfall and Honeyfern looked at the cats as they had some information.
"That lazy river was pretty violent. I think I could feel the blood spilling out of one of my legs. My Starclan, it stings like someone set it on fire." Ivypool told the others as she had received several small scratches on her leg, it was the good news that she wasn't bleeding badly or even at all.
"Well we should take it easy if my paw holds out." Molewhisker replied as he didn't know what he was going to do.
"You still worried about that?" Poppyfrost asked as she wanted to see if Molewhisker was still fussing over it.
"Yeah I mean if I want it to heal I need to take it easy." Molewhisker replied. Poppyfrost was getting ready to speak as the rain began pouring down. It was pouring down hard. The cats weren't ready for what was going to happen.
"Rain? I thought today was going to be clear?" Dovewing asked as she didn't like the rain. Cherryfall got out her phone as she began to look up what was going to happen.
"Yeah there's a thunderstorm rolling on through so all the activities are going to get delayed." Cherryfall responded as the cats didn't like this turn of events. They sighed as they didn't know what they were going to do. Molewhisker looked up at the rain as he had a request.
"Let's hope the dolphins don't get delayed." Molewhisker was praying to Starclan to make sure they could do everything on time and therefore they didn't get held up. Molewhisker's wish wasn't going to be granted.
Two in the afternoon rolled around as the cats were waiting around at a beach as they were going to be ready to get swimming. Ivypool and Molewhisker were patting down the sand hard for their own amusement.
"Is it safe yet?" Poppyfrost asked as the rain had gone and lunch had been eaten but the clouds remained as they were looking with uncertainty. Some of the workers that they were assigned to the group began to speak.
"No not yet, it's been a code red for the past ten minutes, we're just waiting for it to be a yellow so we can take you into the water." She mewed. She heard a buzzing wondering what it was as she pulled out her hand radio. "Yes? Uh… Purple? Okay." She then placed it down as she gave the news. "It's purple, lightning has been spotted very close to the area so we're going to put you all inside for safe keeping." She mewed. The others grumbled as they knew they had no way of spending time with the dolphins. They all got up as they began to make their way inside of the hut as they had to wait it out. Once inside, the cats knew that they were going to wait inside for an uncertain amount of time, it could be hours before they could go swimming with the dolphins and the park was going to be closed.
"So how long until we're able to go swimming?" Cherryfall asked as she didn't know when they were going to get into the water.
"I don't know for sure." Dovewing responded as the workers were doing their best to keep the cats entertained for the time being until the all clear had been declared.
"If the park closes at five, everyone would just go home and we wouldn't be able to do what we need to." Molewhisker responded as he didn't want to be kicked out of the park when the gates closed.
"I'm sure the weather will pass, I'm sure of it." Poppyfrost mewed to Molewhisker to not give in so easily. Molewhisker huffed as he didn't want to be waiting for hours. The other cats looked around as they were wondering if they were going to be stuck there all night.
"I hope you're right about that." Blossomfall responded as she slumped into her chair. The minutes would turn into hours and still no clear signal from the group. Molewhisker looked around as cats were slowly walking out of the park as Molewhisker was wondering if they were going to be stuck there all night. Dovewing was growing bored as well as the other cats were doing so as well. The hosts provided what they needed to keep the guests happy while they waited. And at six, waiting for nearly four hours, one of the cats came in to see who was still remaining.
"Hey. We're merging you with another group. We just got the signal." He mewed. The cats then got up as they began making their way to the second tent where they were rounding up everyone else to get them together. The others were waiting around as one of the She-cats came up to them.
"All right we are going to be swimming with one of the dolphins. Her name is Yoko and I will be taking you all with you." She mewed as she began to guide the group around to see what they were going to do. They began to make their way to where the dolphin was located as it was swimming around. "Now I want you to be careful as there are some pipes and rocks so go slowly." She instructed them. The cats began making their way around the area as they were now all in the area, it was still raining yet not as hard as it was before. Honeyfern shivered.
"Brr. The water's cold but we waited all day for this." Honeyfern mewed as she felt the water shock her fur. The She-cat working with the group came up to them as she began to speak to the group.
"Okay now this is Yoko she is a female Bottlenose dolphin and she will feel like rubber when she swims up to you and place your paw on her body behind her blow hole because she needs that to breathe." The she-cat began, the dolphin gracefully swam up to them as the cats laid their paws out and began to pet her. Yoko continued to swim as they snapped a picture of her. Once she swam by, the trainer grabbed the mix of fish, gelatin and ice cubes and fed it to the dolphin. The dolphin happily ate it as the she-cat continued to speak. "Okay she is coming around again. Same thing as always." She mewed. The dolphin swam by as the cats placed their paws out as they began petting the dolphin. Once it came around, the she-cat fed it more of the mix. "These things know how you feel and your condition so they know what exactly will happen even if they don't speak our language. Dolphins are extremely intelligent animals."
"Wait I know the fact that the dolphins make circles in the mud with their tails, trapping the fish. The fish freak out and jump over the mud net and right into their mouths?" Molewhisker asked as he wanted to make sure this was true.
"Yes it is true and I am surprised you memorize that off the top of your head." The she-cat responded as she remembered that and she figured out that someone had known about that. They were unaware of another photo being snapped when Yoko swam past them again. "Okay we're going to have Yoko kiss you on the cheek and a cuddle for these next set of photos." She instructed them as the dolphin swam back around. She turned to Molewhisker. "Since you know so much about dolphins, how about you give her some love first." Molewhisker nodded as he swam up first to where the dolphin was situated. Once there, he eagerly placed his cheek to the dolphin's snout for another picture. Once done, he went over for a cuddle as the dolphin posed for more photos. Once done, Molewhisker swam off and another cat took his place.
"You seem to be a natural at this." Poppyfrost told Molewhisker as Cherryfall was getting her pictures taken.
"Yeah, are you ready to reconsider my career choices?" Molewhisker joked to his mother as Poppyfrost laughed.
"Not really." Poppyfrost responded as she calmed down from her giggle. Poppyfrost swam up next as Cherryfall came back to her brother.
"I was never expecting a dolphin to be like that." Cherryfall mewed as she was blushing a bit.
"Yeah I know." Molewhisker responded as he was still blushing. One by one, the cats went over for their pictures and chatted among themselves as they were enjoying this. Once the photos had been taken. The she-cat was ready for their next assignment as they were now ready to swim.
"Okay I want you all to make your way to me." The she-cat began as the cats began making their way to her. She decided to feed Yoko as she was being so good. "Okay now I would like to tell you that you will grab Yoko with one paw on her dorsal fin and the other on her flipper and she will pull you along. Anyone want to step up first?" She mewed. Ivypool walked up as she looked at the dolphin. She gripped her paws on the areas where they were going to be pulled along. The dolphin nodded as it began to swim, pulling Ivypool along with it. The other cats looked on as the dolphin made it to the other side as Ivypool got off, the dolphin swam back as Blossomfall was next. She then walked over and gripped the dolphin right where the trainer expected her to do. The dolphin began to swim as it guided Blossomfall along. A flash from the camera was shot as the others went along with it. Once done, the dolphin circled around as it was ready to guide the others along as it wanted to finish the group up.
It would be more time once the cats got to know more about the dolphin and it would be time to go, they waved goodbye and they were then off. Some of the cats were cold but Blossomfall and Honeyfern turned and they were going to head off.
"We're going to get the pictures, meet us in the bathroom by the lockers where we received the suits earlier today. We need to return those." Blossomfall mewed as they were going to look at the pictures and choose which ones they wanted to take back. The others nodded as they began to make their way to the bathrooms. Once they got there, they returned their goggles as they headed inside with Poppyfrost following Molewhisker.
"Okay son, do you need any help with removing the suit?" Poppyfrost asked Molewhisker if he needed any assistance.
"I don't believe so but I will have to keep a look out for you as we don't want to spend too long there. Get me a towel so I can dry myself off." Molewhisker responded as he wanted to get himself dried before they began their way back to the room. Poppyfrost nodded as she grabbed a towel for her kit. She placed it outside of the showers for him to dry himself off. Molewhisker began removing his suit as his fur was wet and would mat together if he didn't take a shower tonight. To use a stopgap until they got home, he grabbed some of the shampoo and began rubbing on his fur to free some of it up. He then washed off and exited the shower and grabbed the towel to dry himself off. He turned his head to hear paw-steps coming to him and he looked to see Blossomfall and Honeyfern enter as they wanted to remove their suits.
"Yours off?" Honeyfern asked Molewhisker.
"Yep. Just waiting for Poppyfrost." Molewhisker replied. Honeyfern nodded as she watched Molewhisker drying.
"You need to have me take your suit?" Honeyfern offered her kindness for her nephew.
"Yeah sure." Molewhisker replied. Honeyfern nodded with a gentle smile as she grabbed the wet suit and walked off to return it as well as the snorkeling gear. Poppyfrost then exited her shower as she walked over to Molewhisker who was drying himself off.
"Well Honeyfern is returning the wetsuit so you should as well and get the stuff from the lockers." Molewhisker told Poppyfrost to get all of their belongings out. Poppyfrost nodded as she went to gather their belongings.
The seven cats had got themselves together as they were walking out of the park. They knew they needed to pick up a few things so they entered the gift shop to see what they wanted. Molewhisker knew he wanted to get something but he also wanted something for Blossomfall. Fortunately the many plush animals looking at him was tempting as he was ready to pick out something. He grabbed a dolphin and a Manatee and began making his way to the counter. Honeyfern had an empty picture book she wanted to purchase as they were going to use it for the pictures as Molewhisker placed his plushies down.
"That's what you want?" Honeyfern asked if that was what Molewhisker wanted.
"Yeah that's all I want. One of these is for the driver of the truck." Molewhisker replied as the cat ringing up the merchandise began speaking.
"That will be sixty, forty seven." She mewed as Poppyfrost got out her bag and began to pay it up. Honeyfern then bagged it as the others began walking out. "Have a nice rest of your day."
The seven cats would get to the parking lot as they were going to head for their room to rest up for the long haul tomorrow. They came out as they were surprised, the place had emptied out as they were possibly the last ones to leave.
"This parking lot is deserted, we should be able to get out with no problem getting out." Blossomfall told the others as she began leading the group to where she parked the truck, fortunately she didn't park too far away as they were able to find it very quickly. The seven cats began to board as they knew they needed to get a couple things done first before they could continue their journey. Pulling out of the parking lot, they drove away as they were now heading back for the room.
The cats decided to stop at a gas station on the way back as they wanted to fill their fuel tanks before they were going to go back so they could prepare for the long haul tomorrow. Poppyfrost was inside as she wanted to get something for her kits so they would be able to entertain themselves as this was the last time they were going to be in Florida. She came out as she got a few things.
"Okay we should be able to refuel for tomorrow's drive so let's head on back." Poppyfrost mewed as she got back into the truck.
"Yep we got a full tank and let's head back and order some more dinner, we stayed out there for way too long." Honeyfern responded. She then sneezed as this took everyone by surprise.
"Bless you, are you okay Honeyfern?" Blossomfall asked Honeyfern as she wanted to see if she was okay.
"I'm fine." Honeyfern responded as she shook the jitters off of her. They then began to drive back to the room.
Once there, Molewhisker was busy scratching his ticket as the others were planning on what they were going to do tomorrow.
"So we're heading to Tennessee, right?" Poppyfrost began as she was assessing the situation.
"Yep, we'll see how well it is over there, if we're just too tired and it's crowded, we might as well use it as a rest stop before we continue the journey back home." Blossomfall mewed as she knew that there was the chance that the place that they were staying was going to be too crowded.
"Well at least we're going to be driving through the mountains." Poppyfrost mewed as Molewhisker began to speak.
"I think I just won one hundred and fifty dollars." Molewhisker began. The cats in the room ran over as they were thinking that it was true that he had won.
"You did?! We need to cash this ticket on the way out tomorrow morning if you think you have won!" Poppyfrost called out with excitement, did her kit just win big with a huge amount of money? She gave Molewhisker back the ticket as he began to study over it again.
"Wait, nevermind it was a false alarm." Molewhisker replied and the excitement from the cats was dropped. The others began looking up as Honeyfern came into the room.
"Well we got the food, now we should have a plan for tomorrow right?" Honeyfern asked if this was correct that a concrete plan had been devised. Poppyfrost nodded as she decided to take care of Molewhisker's paw first.
"Yep, to Tennessee we go." Poppyfrost responded.
Tomorrow was going to be the hike back up.
[A/N]: Another long one for you but I want to get this story done as fast as possible as I think there will be one more chapter after this. I've merged Monday and Tuesday together since nothing happened Monday and I'll mostly do the same for the other days as well. Already beginning to work on the next fanfic or the stages of it while I finish this one. Hopefully this should be completed by the time next month rolls around. See you around then.
