Secret Note 2

Author's Note: Good morrow to all of you readers that have checked back to this story! As of this moment of me writing this, it's been about 2 months since I've last updated this story. For that, I apologize for I have no real reason for the long hiatus besides not having consistent time to write. I've honestly even had to hold back Love Note Chapter 20 and it's release for the sake of releasing Chapter 2 of this story. I know it's not very cool of me, but I do want to see a little more attention put onto this fanfic, so try to bear with me.

Before I let y'all read this chapter, I feel the need to address two questions:

1. (For any Squad/InquisitorMaster fan here) Why are Zach, Drake and Jade still in the Squad in this story?

2. Is the name for your custom character in this story, Brad, actually your name?

First off, Jade and the Twins are still part of the Squad as of right now simply based on when I started writing Love Note (obviously connected to this story). At the time, those three were still part of the Squad and there was no Z-Squad. But, just like Love Note will, I will end up writing those three off the Squad. I couldn't just simply remove them or write them off, since I still need the removals to make sense from a story-telling standpoint.

Second, no, my real name isn't actually Brad. While the character of Brad is still mostly based off of me, his name actually isn't mine. I won't tell you my real name, but I can admit that Brad is the name of my cousin. You see, my cousin irl does a good amount of editing for my writing…so in turn, I decided to create him a character. Don't worry, he does write his own actual lines as well as anything he wants when he's describing something involving his character. However, his personality overall is still quite the mix of his and my irl personalities, mainly based off his (for obvious reasons).

Secret Note Chapter 2 - Meeting a Squad Pt. 2

No POV:

"So, who's next?"

"What do you mean, Buford?" Baljeet asked.

"Well, which Squad member are you telling Phineas and Ferb about next?"

"I'm actually surprised you called me by my name for once." Phineas said in shock.

"Don't get used to it, Dinnerbell."

A small silence occurred, making things a little awkward. Only a small second passed before Buford showed an improvement of character and maturity.

"Ok, you might have to get used to it," Buford admitted. "Alright, enough of this…let's get to my favorite Squad member, Levi! Dark and brooding with a deep voice, Levi is definitely the most intimidating Squad member."

"You forgot the part where deep down, Levi is actually very kind," Baljeet commented.

"Yeah, but that's really like that with his friends and fans. He's not like that to everyone," Isabella added.

"True, but he still is probably the biggest bully in the Squad and the most relatable to me," Buford responded, crossing his arms.

"Why is that? Is it because you both are actually nice deep down and have a soft spot for their pet?" Baljeet asked, snickering.

"Are you trying to make fun of Biff?" Buford asked, tempers flaring, Baljeet clearly noticing this. Baljeet starts to run, with Buford following.

"Get back here, nerd!"

There was an awkwardness between Phineas, Ferb, and Isabella, with the sound of Buford chasing Baljeet preventing it from being too awkward.

"Anyway, then there's Jade. She's quite the…interesting character and is really weird. She's really loud, and eats rats-" Isabella started, attempting to take the reins with the explanation.

"Rats?!" Phineas asked with a mix of disgust and surprise.

"I thought the same thing. I'm not sure if she actually eats rats…but I know Jaxx doesn't! Jaxx is a farmer and actually left for 9 months after being a member for 1 month to work on his farm. He came back 4 months ago, luckily. Probably the most interesting parts of his character are his bond with Brad and rivalry with Sora."

The stepbrothers nodded in unison, both adding that to the information they had already received about the Squad. Suddenly, Baljeet had returned where they and Isabella were…somehow without Buford. While the Indian boy was obviously smarter than his bully, it didn't mean that Buford was an idiot. He'd always help out in the creations of Phineas and Ferb's inventions, but never showed his knowledge and ability elsewhere…like school.

The only exceptions to this (that at least were obvious) were in bullying, and in sports…especially football. At this point in their short lives, Buford had decided that some of his physical tendencies could be used in a slightly better way in sports. Besides, it give him a little justification for doing so. It still was surprising that Baljeet had escaped, his tired voice making his escape even more surprising.

"Brad and Jaxx have quite the bond, I say. I wouldn't be surprised if those two were friends before the Squad," the tired looking Baljeet explained. "But Jaxx and Sora's relationship is more like mine is with Buford's. It's a love-hate relationship-"

"Surprise, nerd!"

It was a quick moment, but Buford had quickly found the tired Baljeet and took advantage of it. He'd given the Indian boy a wedgie from behind, out of nowhere. A slightly loud screech later, and the Indian boy was down.

Baljeet POV:

Classic Buford. Denying our own relationship as frenemies…maybe I shouldn't have explicitly said the word "love." That's probably what triggered him, since he clearly did not understand which "love" I was talking about. I meant friend love, not love love!

Phineas POV:

Ouch, that never seems to hurt any less every time that happens…it just looks so uncomfortable. I'm not sure if I'd say Buford and Baljeet have a love-hate relationship at this point, but they do have their moments. It just so happens to not be now, unfortunately.

Ferb POV:

I can't say I'm not shocked as to what Buford did to Baljeet; Baljeet is quite smart, but Buford isn't dumb…especially physically. I do firmly believe brains beat brawn, but you need some strength in order to survive.

"Is he going to be alright?" Phineas asked me. "Especially with how often he gets those?"

Before I could answer, Buford beat me to it.

"Oh come on! I don't even do it that often!"

I looked to Buford, gave him a bit of a stink eye, and looked back to Phineas.

"He should be fine," I replied. "Just a little uncomfortable and in a little pain. Overall, nothing too serious."

"Do you think we should help him up?" Isabella asked. I thought it would be nice, but at the same time he probably wouldn't want to get up immediately. I know my brother thinks the same way, even if he isn't my biological brother. We've just grown to be like that, with a strong bond like real siblings.

"As much as I think we should, we should probably just let him recover first." Phineas replied, confirming my beliefs.

No POV:

"He'll be fine," Buford said. "So where you at now, Isabella?"

The only girl in the group only had to think for a small second about who was talked about before realizing who was left.

"Only Luca, the unpredictable "innocent" one."

Phineas' face showed a mix of scared and concerned. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"Well, he's normally a nice and kind person to everyone in the Squad…just don't have him playing games involving killing or fighting like Among Us since he goes on quite the rampage."

"Among Us," Phineas pondered. "I feel like I've heard that name somewhere."

"It's this game that came out a few years ago that got popular," Isabella explained. "It just started getting popular not too long ago. Here, I'll just show you a video of the Squad now. You'll most likely learn the game through watching, anyway."

With that, Isabella pulled out her phone and found InquisitorMaster's latest video, which was in fact an Among Us video. It had just come out a few minutes ago, and was titled, "The Squad Moves Ships in Among Us?"

"I am quite interested to see how this turns out," Ferb inquired.

"You're not the only one, Ferb." Phineas admitted.

"Oooh, I'm gonna join you guys in that!" Buford said. At this point, Baljeet had recovered enough to realize what was happening…but stayed put in his spot and without saying a word.

In the Video:

The video flashes onto the screen, but it doesn't start on Among Us…instead, it starts in Roblox; Obviously, Brookhaven. It's complete chaos as all the Squad members scramble to prepare for some sort of trip.

"Hurry up guys, we gotta get going!" A voice revealed to be Alex's says.

"You won't need to grab anything, so let's go!" Zach echoes in agreement, as he passes by Alex on screen. Soon enough, we see the Squad all gathered up near the kitchen and living room in the house…with some of them missing.

"Hey, guys," Light starts. "Where's Sora?"

"He's still sick, remember?" Jaxx replied, sighing as he had to once again remind Light about Sora's disappearance. The two were rivals, but still had their obvious love-hate relationship. There were times when the two would flirt, as well as those moments when the two would try to vote each other out for no true reason besides their rivalry. Either way, they were both still friends as members of the Squad…even if they struggled to show it most of the time.

Either way, Jaxx's sigh pretty much flew past the rest of the members. While all of them worried for Sora, they knew that they could only keep going with him in mind.

"Wait, where's Luca and Levi?" Alex asked, causing a pause within the group.

"Guys, I think I found something." Brad said, breaking the silence.

"What is it?"

"A note."

"I think she's asking what's on the note, idiot," Jade scoffed, her sprite showing her hands on her hips with an annoyed expression.

"Whatever, Jade." Brad rudely replied, rolling his eyes, as his sprite is shown in the video after Jade's.

It was in fact a note (more like a sticky note) on the refrigerator. The note's contents went as follows:

*note: Brad's the one reading the note, but the video's editing changes it to Levi's voice*

Dearest fellow Squad members,

I sincerely apologize that I will be once again late to a Squad activity…especially one as important as today. I promise that I will actually accompany you guys today, after I finish these tasks. There's still some things that I need to clear up that couldn't be held back. Don't worry about me though, as I've recruited Luca to help me to make this faster.

Levi

"Wow, that was an impressive Levi voice, Brad." Zach commented jokingly, his sprite flashing, laughing with tears coming out of his eyes.

"Thanks, Zach." Brad laughed, going along with the joke.

"Looks like we're going to have to do this without Levi and Luca for now," Jaxx said, his sprite with a hand on his hip showing.

"Yeah, but I think we'll be fine," Alex replied. "Besides, we need to get going anyway!"

Alex's sprite shown was the excited one, as she typically was during videos and in real life.

With that, the Squad proceeded to leave their Roblox house as the screen blackened again. When the screen came back to light, it was revealed that The Squad was now in Among Us. Each member was wearing the color that was associated with their themes, minus Alex who used yellow for her hair. Zach had the color pink, since it was also a theme color of his, but only one person could take one color.

They started out on the ship that would normally be used when a server was getting filled with players. Just like the Squad always did, they found a way to kind of "roleplay" that game mechanic.

"Hey, does anyone know if we're there yet?" Jaxx asked.

"Yeah, I'm just really excited to move there!" Jade added, referencing the video name.

"Well, we're halfway there," Alex replied. "Just hold on and we'll be there soon."

The screen darkened once again, quickly lighting up again to reveal the ship had landed.

"We're here, guys!" Alex's excitement just poured out onto everyone else, half of whom were "sleeping."

"Huh, what?" a formerly sleeping Jaxx asked, startled from being awoken.

"Thank goodness," Zach commented. "It was so boring."

Zach's sprite is shown on screen, clearly with a bored looking face.

"You're telling me," Drake scoffed. "I had to stay awake the whole time just to keep an eye on the ship!"

Drake's sprite had appeared, clearly with an unhappy face and having his arms crossed.

"Someone had to do it, Drake," Brad responded. "It just so happened to be us."

"Yeah, but I could've been cuddling with my Jade Mars!"

Alex, Zach, Jaxx, and Brad all snickered at the nickname, being the only ones awake to hear the mention of it. The snickering did cause the pre-mentioned girl in question to "stir."

"Drake, what's happening?" A drowsy Jade, now awake, asked.

"We're here now, my love."

"Wait, we are?" A shocked Light suddenly asked, awoken from his slumber. Unfortunately, since both he and Charli had been unknowingly sleeping together, his sudden movement had moved and woken up Charli.

"Huh? What?" A just as confused and shocked Charli asked.

"Looks like the lovebirds are up!" Brad said.

"She isn't my girlfriend!" Light yelled in retaliation, shown with his sprite's distressed face.

"Woah, he never said girlfriend, Light." Zach commented.

"Looks like someone's been thinking about Charli like that," Jaxx added, accompanied by his smirking sprite.

"I ship it!" Alex and Drake said at the same time, causing everyone (minus Light) to laugh.

"Let's just get going already!" Light directed, clearly salty, walking off.

*scene skip*

The Squad is now in front of the ship, all gathered up in a line in this order (Left to right): Zach, Jaxx, Charli, Alex, Jade, Brad, Drake, Light; All are still in their respective colors, each with an accessory. For example, Charli's character had an egg on its head and Light's character had a dark brim hat on, as well as Brad's.

Almost immediately, the Squad does their normal introductions. This is gonna be weird, since it isn't in the order of their characters standing. Also, as each of their names were called to the audience, a sprite of theirs appeared on the screen.

"Hey guys it's Alex!"

"And Zach!"

"And Drake!"

"And we're the twins!"

"I'm Jade!"

"And I'm Light!"

"I'm Charli!"

"I'm Jaxx!"

"And I'm Brad!"

"And we're the Squad!" Alex exclaims excitedly; everyone else gave a classic "Woo!"

Back To IRL for a Sec…

No POV:

"Man, do I love that intro." Buford admitted.

"Just the intro itself confirms a lot about what you guys said about The Squad," Ferb commented.

"Yeah," Phineas agreed. "I really like how Zach and Drake just shout We're the twins like that!"

"It is quite entertaining," a quiet Ferb analyzed.

"Is it just me, or are guys still wondering where Levi and Luca are?" Isabella asked, confused.

"I am too," Baljeet replied. "That letter at the beginning was kind of weird."

"Maybe they'll come back later with an answer?" Phineas asked optimistically.

"I hope so; I'm just dying to know!" Baljeet replied.

Back to the Video

No POV:

"We're playing Among Us!" Alex continues, just as excited as before.

"And today…" Zach began. "We're moving to a brand new map?"

Zach's sprite just showed up, with his mouth open in shock.

"Yup!" Alex replied. "Welcome to Polus!"

Alex's sprite flashed and showed her excitement, somewhat similar to Charl's trademark behavior.

"But Alex," Drake commented. "This isn't a new map for us."

"Yeah, we've all been here before." Light added, voicing his overall confusion about the situation. This would only be confirmed with Light's sprite's face looking very unsure with what he had heard.

"This map would only be new to Luca, who isn't even here yet." Jaxx said.

"Ok, ok. I'll just end the facade and let the cat out of the bag," Alex admitted.

"What are you talking about, Alex?" Jade inquires.

"Are you talking about Miss Misa?" Light asked, causing a heap of laughter from everyone. Jaxx laughed the hardest while even moving away from his mic, while Brad made what was more like a pft sound rather than a normal laugh. He did end up laughing, with it being slightly less hysterical than the others.

"What? No, you nerd!" Zach replied annoyed, as shown in his sprite. "Alex is talking about how we moved houses in real life!"

"But aren't we not supposed to tell them where we live?"

"You just keep asking stupid questions, huh Light?"

"That was a little uncalled for," a quiet Brad commented.

"We're not gonna tell them exactly where we live now, silly!" Alex exclaimed. "Only the fact that we even did move!"

"Yeah, guys! Let's go on our tour now!" Zach exclaimed. "Now, which way should we start first, Squad?"

"Well, I guess we should start left, my brother!" Drake replied.

The Squad, led by Zach's pink character, made their way inside the upper-left building in the map.

"This here is the normal electrical and security systems," Zach explained. "If you need to fix lights or look at the cameras, you'll probably go here. Now, come down here!"

Everyone follows Zach as he goes down, turns left and up into another room…containing simply just a tree. Either way, Zach continues on his tour.

"This here, it looks like just a normal tree right? Well, it's one of the most unique and important parts of this new place! It's called…the Royal Wood!"

That's Chapter 2! I know I once again ended this with another cliffhanger, but I do plan to fix that by making the next chapter a lot more like a normal Phineas & Ferb episode…meaning that we will see an idea and invention come up with, and you may or may not see what happens to Perry. No matter when's the next time I update, I will try to make sure that you will find out the exact information I just told you *aka pretty much a spoiler.*

Anyway, let's do some references for this chapter!

1. Now that we finished the explanation of each Squad member, I can confirm that everything we said about them is actually canon to their characters.

2. Just like Buford has Biff, Levi does actually have a pet. He has Miss Misa as a pet, who was mentioned in this chapter.

3. At the time I began the Love Note, Jaxx and Sora were actually simply rivals. But as of now, the two's rivalry has almost completely gone away and is replaced with a relationship. The two are dating, which may or may not still end up happening in this story and Love Note. But, their overall storyline will be a little bit longer and will be more detailed with a story that makes sense.

4. When Brad reads Levi's letter and the video instead inserts the latter boy's voice, cases like this actually happen in occasional Squad videos.

5. The Squad actually has and uses sprites to add to emotion showed in videos, since nobody uses a face cam. The only Squad members who have showed their face are Zach and Alex. Jade did end up showing her face, but it was in a different circumstance. Drake's face has also been seen before, along with Jade.
