This is purely a work of fiction and is in no way a real journal

6:43am No surprise, but I slept terribly. I think I've become too dependent on those sleeping pills. I'm not sure where the abandoned town I'm looking for is. I've only seen it once on an old map so I only have a general direction that I need to go. If all goes well I'm going to make it there by tonight.
10:10am Just had a thought. Hopefully there's water there. I only brought a standard canteen and half liter water bottle full. When I was writing last night I forgot to mention why Seather Corp. is such a big deal and why I have to hide out in the middle of a forest. Seather Corps. was funding the Matry Empire which was our enemy in the War of Tulips and the Iron Fists were the ones who most often engaged with their soldiers. I don't want to get caught by Seather Corp. soldiers specifically because they tend to hold a grudge especially when it comes to grudges from war.
12:12pm I had a map in my backpack but it didn't show where the abandoned town was, so I can only guess how far away I am. I am going to take a break to try to pinpoint where I am. It's not my favorite but I had a jelly sandwich for lunch. Turns out I am only about 10 miles away. That's good news, I'll have time to set up some shelter when I get there.
2:33pm Ugh, my knee is sore. Back in the war that knee got ran over by a vehicle track. It popped out of the joint. I was fine afterward, but I think some cartilage got destroyed. Now whenever I over exert that leg it gets sore. I didn't think the walk here was that tough but I guess the unevenness of the forest floor makes it a bit harder on the joints.
4:56pm Well I found the town. Almost every building was made of what used to be wood. With the condition of the wood I'm surprised there's anything left standing. I spotted a stone building that I think I'm going to sleep in, at least for tonight.
7:34pm I had some bread for dinner. Not the most appetizing after a long day, but it will have to do, tomorrow I need to figure out my future meals. The food I brought might only last another couple of days.
