Hate On Me

The storm will pass, keep your head up, look for the rainbow

"What happened?" Sam jumped out of his chair seeing his girl walking into the classroom with wet hair

"It's fine" Mercy looked at Tina knowing what was in her man's mind

"It's not fine" his raised voice telling everyone he was about to get mad as hell "Who did this?" he stood in front of her asking, his eyes demanding an answer "Babe, who did this?" his voice softened as he tried to control his anger, he wasn't mad at her

"Sam" she rolled her eyes unwilling to give him any information

"I'm going to kill whoever did this to you" he warned

"Don't say that Sam, you don't mean it" she looked into his eyes, he knew she meant what she was saying, he was already on thin ice after the three fights he and Mike had been involved in apparently defending Tina and her, and now here he was trying to get himself expelled for a bit of slushie "Please, leave it" she grabbed his sleeve aware everyone was waiting for him to explode

"Sam" Finn called "You know that's not how we deal with that kind of stuff in here"

"Oh yeah" he turned to their teacher, his tone dripping sarcasm "We put a smile on it and sing about our shit until the next hit" he snarled at him "Well that might be alright for you, but when people start messing with me I want something done, and the only language thugs like that understand is this" he held his fist up

"Sam" Finn warned "Take your seat"

"Sam" Mercy gave him her puppy eyes "Please, for me, leave it"

"I can't do that, but I promise I won't do anything right now"

"You know what it will mean for us if you get yourself thrown out of school?" she warned him, tiptoeing to kiss his lips for a second "Come on" she took him back to his seat and sat next to him, holding his hand, to help calm him down.

They'd been an item for nearly two years now, they'd initially met at church at an early age, and went to school together for a while before he moved away for just over five years. On his return they'd linked up again because he didn't know or remember anyone else, but that friendship had quickly turned into something awkward that finally presented itself as feelings, and they'd just worked with it.

He hadn't started out as a ferocious lion, he'd been a quiet, shy, forever swotting, ball playing teenager with pussycat tendencies, until his dad passed just four months ago, and then he'd turned into this angry ball of fire. His mom was at her wits end with all the bother he was bringing, he'd started binge drinking at weekends, causing fights over the stupidest of things, and he'd been caught hanging with some of the more challenging kids in the school smoking weed a few times. This had all happened so suddenly everyone knew it was connected to his father, but try as they might to support him, he pushed everyone away if not by physical force, then he'd use verbal aggression

Course there was another side to all of that anger that only Mercy saw nowadays, when he'd cry in her arms with the pain he'd got inside for missing his dad, the disappointment in his heart for the way he treated his mom, who did nothing but love him, his lack of control over his anger, it was just something that took over him, that he couldn't see coming, and it scared him sometimes.

"Sorry" he looked at her with his sad eyes

"I know" she leaned over and kissed his cheek, he was lost right now and hanging on for dear life, refusing to get help from anyone except her, at 19 years of age she knew she wasn't that person, but right now, she was the only one he'd let in.

"Guys…" Finn stopped at Mercy shaking her head telling him it was a wrong move "Ladies are you ready for the challenge?"

"Yep" Quinn put her hand up dragging Rachel along with her, Joe, sat irritated that they hadn't gone first like they'd planned just because Sam had decided to mess about. "We're actually celebrating our first year anniversary today" she smiled at Joe

"It's been a year?" Finn smiled at Joe "Good for you, congratulations"

"They're not married" Sam snapped

"Sam" Mercy tapped him

"We didn't say we were" Joe snapped back "What?" he looked at Quinn, her lips thin trying to stop him from causing another war

"Leave it" she hissed looking at Mercy, knowing if Sam let rip that was it, she, along with everyone else needed to get ready to move out the way

"No" Joe stood up determined to say his piece "Everyone's fed up with your damn angry mood swings"

"Joe" Quinn shouted across the room "Please just leave it" she stepped towards him "Let's just sing these songs" her voice warning him "You're killing the vibe"

"I'm killing the vibe?" Joe looked at her shocked

Sam hadn't looked up once since all the commotion had started, he was deep in thought about something, Mercy could see his eyes glazing over, and that he was in that other zone again, no one knew where he went when his eyes went like that. He might be thinking about his love for his dad, his hatred for his mom or just the hug he longed for from her, but if nothing else was sure she knew where he'd want to be when he came back, she let his hand go and joined the girls Rachel, Tina, and Quinn up front.

"We've chosen a classic, one we think is the ultimate break up song, it's a bit of fun too" Tina smiled at Mike

"We'll be singing 'Caught Out There' by Kelis" Mercy smiled "Because we think it's such an iconic breakup anthem…"

"And we think every girl that's ever had her heart broken has screamed these words or at least thought them" Quinn butted in

"So, on that note" Rachel looked at the band "Hit it" she smiled

Mercy: Yow, yow. yow, this song, yow, this song is for all the women out there, that been lied to by their men
Quinn: And I know you all been lied to, over and over again,

Tina: this is for y'all yow, maybe you didn't break the way you should have broke, yow
Rachel: But I break, know what um saying, so this is how it goes, yow psss... damn, yow

Quinn (Rachel): Last year, valentine's day you would spoil me and say babe, I love you, love you (yow, he's lying) and I swear"
Held you when you were sick, even ... (sucked your xxx) the whole time I think to myself, this isn't fair

Rachel (Quinn): What is this I see (no) you don't come home to me (oh, no) when you don't come home to me (man) can't deal, can't bear
You keep telling me lies but to your surprise look, I found her red coat and you're (Bitch) caught out there

They guys were rocking along to the undeniable anthem, watching their partners bring on their fierce while they danced along to the song. Something in the song must have hit a good nerve for him, because suddenly Sam looked up at them singing and smiled at Mercy "I love you" he mouthed at her

"I love you too" she mouthed back smiling, her mind doing overtime on this new mood of his, he never usually snapped out of it that quick

She was at her wits end with trying to get him to get some professional help, she was getting it from all handles, his mom wanted her to move faster on talking him around to seeking help and repairing their relationship. Her father wanted her to leave him and get on with her own studies, which made sense sometimes, but then there were quiet, intense, and even romantically sexy times, and everything seemed so worth it. `To add to all of that practical, logical thinking stuff she loved him, unconditionally, she'd listen to him talk himself to sleep every night, and make sure he was fast asleep before finally closing the call, to fall asleep herself, he was the love of her short life, but somehow she knew he was destined to be her forever

Chorus
All: I hate you so much right now I hate you so much right now ah... I hate you so much right now
I hate you so much right now I hate you so much right now ah... I hate you so much right now

Tina (Mercy): So sick of your games, I'll set your truck to flames and watch it blow up, blow up, (ha-ha-ha) tell me (how you going to see it now)
So far from sincere (I love you) fabrications in my ear drive me so far up the wall I come sliding down

Mercy (Tina): What is this I see (I don't believe this) you don't come home to me when you don't come home to me I can't deal, can't bear (I won't)
You keep telling me lies but to your surprise look, I hope you're happy since you're caught out there (yeah, you've been caught)

Chorus

Mercy (Rachel): (She's so) raunchy, so vulgar, not me, why the hell her look, she dresses (look at her) mess, what do you see (I don't know)
It's not all about cash (hell, no) not how much you flash how I dress is a reflection of me
Quinn (Tina): What is this I see you don't come home to me (uh-uh) when you don't come home to me can't deal, can't bear (told you I won't)
You keep telling me lies but to your surprise look, I got something for y'all since you're caught out there

Chorus

"That was brilliant" Sam kissed her when she got back to her seat

"Thanks" she giggled

"I'll work all this shit going on with me out soon, I promise"

"I know" she smiled at seeing the old Sam sitting there smiling

"Did I say that was good" he laughed

"Yes" she laughed "So good you just had to say it twice"

"Mr Hudson, Principle wants to see you" a student appeared at the classroom door

"Talk amongst yourself, we'll be ready for the guys contribution when I get back" Finn left the room telling them all

"Sam" Mike came over to where they were sitting "T sent me to keep you company while they get some time" he looked at Mercy "She asked me to ask you for one of your hot minutes" he laughed, watching her look at Sam

"Go" Sam smiled "I'll be fine" he watched her get up to walk across the room "Thanks" he smiled at Mike taking his fist bump "She needs a break, I'm too much for myself sometimes" he watched Mike sit down

"So, obviously no control yet?"

"She's the only person that I feel controls me right now"

"And who's there for her?" Mike looked over at Tina and Mercy talking

"Tina I hope, maybe you and of course she talks to my mom, a lot"

"Are you talking to your mom yet?"

"No" he ran his hand through his hair "Not yet, and it's not that I don't try, but I can't cope with her just getting on with life as if he didn't exist" he huffed, his voice raised enough for Mercy to look "I need to talk about something else"

"Have you been smoking?"

"Not much" he smiled "Mercy doesn't give me that much freedom to get away with that shit anymore"

"How do you feel about that?"

"Are you a fucking counsellor or something?" he laughed "Life with Mercy's good, everything about that part of my life is good" he smiled "She's got me on lock" he looked at his friend "Are you and T in trouble?"

"No" Mike laughed "When are we ever in trouble?"

"When you get into fights with me" he laughed

"Yeah" Mike laughed "When that happens, shit, do I get it"

"Did T tell you who did that to Mercy?"

"I've been told, if you ask that question I should say no" he smiled "Because the answer is no"

"I'm going to find out eventually, someone's going to be talking about it as soon as we leave here" he punched his left palm with his right fist "And they're going to fucking get it"

"You just love fighting don't you?"

"For her" he looked across at her sat talking intensely with Tina "Every damn day" he smiled "She gives everything up for me every day, I don't think she knows that I see that, but I know her parents want her to leave me, I feel the vibe every time I visit, and somehow every time she looks at me with all that going on in her head, I still see love" he chuckled "Call me a pushover, but if she can take on all our emotional shit, I don't see the reason why I shouldn't deal with all our physical shit"

"I get that" Mike knocked fists with him "Hundred percent if that was T, I'd want blood"

"And you're still not willing to give me a name?"

"And you just heard me tell you about the only time we fight" he laughed "I'm holding it together for the both of us here dude"

"I get it, I wouldn't tell you either" he laughed

"Okay" Finn walked back into the classroom "What's next?"

"We've got something" Joe jumped up

"It's an absolute anthem" Blaine looked into the crowd

"Are you…" Mike asked Sam pointing to the front

"Yeah sure" he got up smiling at Mercy

"We chose out anthem because, we agreed even though we hurt, we always play the big guy at breakups" Mike laughed

"And it's a huge anthem" Sam laughed

"This ones called 'Return Of The Mack" by Mark Morrison" Blaine nodded for the music to start

Mike: Oh, come on, oh yeah
Blaine Mike: Well, I tried to tell you so yes, I did, but I guess you didn't know, as the saddest story goes, baby, now I got the flow
Cause I knew it from the start, baby, when you broke my heart, that I had to come again, and show you that I'm with

Everyone was used to seeing Blaine's sad face he'd been that way all over the winter break and well into this semester, Kurt and he had broken up because of this kiss Rachel and he had shared. Kurt was unwilling to accept the apology from Blaine and hadn't spoken to or even looked at Rachel in months, he'd changed all his classes and of late it was rumoured he was seeing Sebastian.

All Joe: You lied to me, all those times I said that I loved you, you lied to me, yes I tried, yes I tried
You lied to me, even though you know I'd die for you, you lied to me, yes I cried, yes I cried

All Mike: Return of the Mack there it is, return of the Mack come on, return of the Mack oh my God you know that I'll be back here I am
Return of the Mack once again return of the Mack top of the world, return of the Mack watch my flow you know that I'll be back here I go

Sam Blaine: So, I'm back up in the game hustling sound running things to keep my swing whole night long
Letting all the people know, that I'm back to run the show, cause what you did you know was wrong
And all the nasty things you've done oh, oh, oh so baby listen carefully, while I sing my comeback song

Rachel was sitting there looking like she was being told off, and everyone knew there was a reason for that, she'd been the villain of the piece, tricking Blaine into the situation. Her actions has lost her Jessie, and the knife had been twisted deeper when he returned to school this semester with his ex-girlfriend back on his arm. She'd got some serious egg on her face and with the whole school knowing the lowdown she was finding it really hard to wipe it off

All Joe: You lied to me, cause she said she'd never turn on me, you lied to me, but you did, but you did
You lied to me, all this pain you said I'd never feel, you lied to me, but I do, but I do, do, do

All Mike: Return of the Mack here it is, return of the Mack hold on return of the Mack don't you know you know that I'll be back here I go
Return of the Mack oh little girl, return of the Mack once my pearl, return of the Mack up and down
You know that I'll be back round and round

As soon as the song finished Sam wasn't interested, his eyes told Mercy he needed her close, so she made her excuses and left Tina to get back to the other side of the room. He hugged her as if she'd been away for a year, some would have found his kind of love stifling, but she craved it, something else they had in common

"That was great" she whispered in his ear

"What?"

"So great I had to say it twice" she giggled "You alright?"

"I'm fine" he smiled cheekily "I need to speak to my mom though"

"Seriously" she smiled "I'll hold you to that"

"I can't wait to get into you" he leaned in to whisper in her ear

"I knew that was coming" she giggled "Your place though, my dad's home"

By the end of the session there was no indication that Sam had remembered anything about getting revenge, but by the time they hit the corridor, how wrong were they. The one Santana, head cheerleader, was always ready and willing to start things that she had no business starting, so it was no surprise when she came up to them in the corridor to pass on the news in the subtlest of Santana ways

"Trouty" she stopped dead in front of them forcing them to listen to her

"Santana?" he smiled at her; it was obvious he knew he was about to get the information he needed

"I heard you're letting the likes of Karofsky beat on your girl with no consequences" she looked at Mercy smirking "Is that right?"

"That's right" Sam smiled

"You're serious" Santana stepped back shocked

"Very" he laughed "Ready?" he asked Mercy pulling her with him to go around Santana

"Thank you" Mercy smiled up at him

"Exams start next week, I'm not about to ruin my chances of getting into college for him, just yet" he stopped outside her next class "But after that, gloves off" he kissed her "Plus we made plans, I'm not about to change your mood" he laughed, walking off to get to his science class

The end of school couldn't come fast enough for Mercy, Sam for the first time ever, had suggested things might be on the way forward for him and his mom and she was holding him to it

"Let's get home" he grabbed her hand

"Speak to your mom?"

"Did I say that?"

"You did" she giggled, as they left school, jumping in his car, to make their way over to his house "Mrs Evans" Mercy smiled at the woman as she passed through the kitchen, watching Sam grab some fruit and a bottle of water

"Mercy, Sam" she smiled at them

"Want anything?" Sam asked Mercy holding the fridge door open

"I'll share" she told him, aware he hadn't spoken to his mother yet

"Sam?" Anne stopped folding clothes "Did you even speak to me when you came in?" his look could have cut her in two "You need to stop with this behaviour" Mercy stood knowing what the outcome of this was going to be, and she really didn't want to watch it again

"I'll come back later" she let go of his hand

"No" he grabbed hold of her

"Yes" Anne snapped at her

"Sam" she tried to pull away from him

"I said no" his eyes widening, his lips thin with anger "I don't want to talk to you, I barely want to see you, you just carry on living your life as if nothing's happened, as if dad's just gone to work for the week, again"

"Sam" Anne burst into tears, and he couldn't admit it, but that hurt

"I'm off to me room, just leave me alone" he walked off leaving her to cry

Mercy said nothing, she just followed him into his bedroom, he pulled her in and slammed the door shut, kissing the back of her neck as if he'd die if his lips weren't on her, his head moving frantically as he licked and sucked moaning at the taste of her, moving down her back. Undoing her trousers his hand slid down the front of them "When did you take those off" he asked before he spun her around, pushed her trousers down and pushed her against the door, ripping himself away from her, when her arms threatened to hold him "How do you want it?" his husky voice growled as he discarded of her trousers with his foot.

"I want.." she reached in to kiss his lips, but he moved "I want you to…" she tried again and failed "Hate on me" her eyes a darker shade of hazel, showing him how much she was turned on

"What?" he stepped closer to her; she'd never gone that far with sex talk before, he was buzzing

"I want you to hate on me so hard, I can still feel you inside me tomorrow" she gasped reaching forward to whisper in his ear, grabbing his bum cheeks before scraping her nails all the way up his back, she grabbed his hair and pulled him back into her chest, his noise making her smile, now she was in control

"Condom" he gasped pushing his joggers off as he grabbed for one out his pocket, and ripped it open with his teeth, he didn't even need to be careful about putting it on, they'd used them so often it was an art he'd mastered "Ready?" he grabbed her right leg and held it up by grabbing her arm

"You're supposed to be hating on me" she gasped, her voice itching as he made his move, going in so deep it lifted her other leg off the floor, his satisfied grunts filled the room, she quickly covered his mouth "Harder" she gasped as he got faster and harder they stood staring into each other's eyes the noise of the creaking door and their breathing filling the air "I'm ready" she finally gasped, closing her eyes

His eyes rolled back in relief he'd been holding on waiting for her to say those words, his lips grabbed her left nipple and sucked it hard, she screamed out, as she always did, while he smiled at the beautiful ending of it all "You alright?"

"I'm fine" she kissed him, as they relaxed

"Was that enough hate?"

"Just right" she giggled "Now will you please go speak to your mom properly?"

"Did I say I was going to do that?"

"You did" she laughed, he thought about it for a minute before pulling his joggers up and going back into the kitchen

to do as she'd asked, who was he to deny her anything after that

"Won't be long" he kissed her quickly

She moved away from the door and opened it for him "And bring back some real food" she called after him laughing, she closed the door and leaned on it smiling to herself, there was finally a rainbow coming at the end of this four month long storm.
