Welcome back to Dragons Plus Phoenix. Last time, Spyro and Cynder called upon the forces of the Phoenix Foundation to uncover the plot the Assassin died before giving up. Needless to say, MacGyver and his team agreed to take the mission and join up with Spyro and Cynder's team back in the Dragon Realms. So how is that going to go? Read on to discover...

(Our story opens up on a panning shot of the city of Warfang, showcasing the various sights of the city we came to know from Dawn of the Dragon)

WARFANG - A VERY LITERAL BIG CITY

(As our panning shot ends, we see exactly what that means as MacGyver and company arrive and are revealed to be much smaller than the dragons walking around them)

Jack: Is anyone else getting some serious Gulliver's Travels vibes right about now, only in reverse?

MacGyver: Well your average dragoness does grow to be about three meters tall, which is taller than any human has ever been. Males peak at around 2.6 meters

Bozer: Yet our hosts are about at our height.

MacGyver: Because they're still growing from what I understand.

Jack: Wait what? They're still growing?

MacGyver: Spyro and Cynder are only in their early twenties, and dragons don't reach their full adult size until somewhere around 35 on average.

Riley: Why do you just know that?

(Just as this random discussion wraps up, Spyro and Cynder enter the scene)

Spyro: There you guys are! We must've lost you when you got to the gates.

MacGyver: Just getting used to the place. Warfang's a much bigger city than we're used to, even compared to LA.

Cynder: Trust me, we won't be staying in the city for long. It was just the only place to land your plane. Our team's waiting for you in the old Swamp Temple.

Jack: Wait, we're meeting in a swamp?

Spyro: The Guardians gave us their blessing for this occasion. Now come on, we don't have time to waste.

(And just like that we transition to deep in the swamps, where a grand old temple stands)

SWAMP TEMPLE - OUR COUNTERPARTS' HOME SWEET HOME

(As we enter the scene, we see a familiar set of dragons: one pink and the other red, paired with a cheetah and a faun as MacGyver and his team enter the room, followed shortly by Spyro and Cynder, as evidenced by shadows in the air)

Flame: (Seeing Spyro and Cynder's shadows above them) Snap to attention everybody! The bosses are back!

(Just as Flame says that, Spyro and Cynder land, and the team rushes forward to greet their team leaders)

Cynder: At ease everybody.

Ember: What's the situation?

Spyro: Just returning with some help. (Introducing MacGyver and his team) Everybody, this is Angus MacGyver and his team. They'll be helping us out with our dark forces problem.

Cynder: Angus, this is our team. (Pointing to everybody as he announces them) Ember, our tech expert. Flame, military liaison. Hunter, relentless tracker. And Elora, camouflage and espionage specialist.

MacGyver: Pleasure to meet all of you.

Elora: So you're this team Spyro and Cynder flew all the way to LA to bring in. Let's see if you're worth the air time.

Bozer: Believe me, I can tell you we'll be the best team you've ever worked with.

Elora: I'll be the judge of that.

Flame: (To Jack) Let me guess, Delta Force?

Jack: How'd you know?

Flame: (Points out a bracelet on his wrist) Death Wings. Essentially your counterparts. We can tell our kin.

Jack: Well this just got a lot more interesting.

Ember: (To Riley) I take it you're the techie.

Riley: What gave it away?

Ember: You're the only one not talking someone's ear off.

Riley: Fair enough.

MacGyver: (To Hunter) I take it you're the leader of this quartet?

Hunter: No, no. Spyro and Cynder lead this. You'll be working with them more often than me. I'm a solid third in command.

MacGyver: Good to know. Looking forward to working with all of you.

Hunter: I'll let you know, the team can be kind of difficult to work with sometimes. We're a pretty tight-knit team.

MacGyver: Don't worry, so are we.

Spyro: If we've got the handshakes and how-do-you-dos out of the way, I do believe we have a mission to get to.

MacGyver: Alright then, where do we start?

Ember: That'd be with the computer we recovered at the sight. Riley and I will start working on that forthwith.

Hunter: Meanwhile, the rest of us can head to the Assassin's hideout to see what we can find.

Cynder: Then let's get to work.

(As the group splits up, our tale ends for today)
