This is Part III of the Labor Day Special. Last time, MacGyver and his comrades entered the tunnels beneath the Assassin's cabin and found the headquarters of his terroristic operations. After subduing the guards, MacGyver found something in the place that indicated Riley and Ember were walking into a trap back at the Temple. So what's going on? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes in an unseen conference room at the Temple, where Bozer is showing Elora a strange relic from his past, his infamous George Washington mask)

DRAGON TEMPLE - GOING THROUGH WEIRD HISTORY

Elora: I'll admit, it's good quality. Though the unblinking eyes are extra creepy

Bozer: Trust me, it's worse when an international assassin wears it when he's trying to kill you. Not exactly the best way to learn what your friend does for a living.

Elora: Wait, you didn't know about what MacGyver did before then?

Bozer: Nope. Talk about a rude awakening.

Elora: I can only imagine.

(With that, Boxer's phone goes off, revealing Matty is calling him)

Bozer: You're on speaker, boss.

Matty: I was expecting an update when you arrived. What happened?

Bozer: Mac and Jack left to investigate the Assassin's hideout, and Riley's working on the guy's laptop as we speak.

Matty: Has Mac called in with anything yet?

Bozer: Nothing yet.

(Of course just as he says that, his phone rings, revealing MacGyver is calling)

Bozer: That's him now actually. Let me put him on the line. (Puts MacGyver on the line) What's up Mac?

MacGyver: (From his location) Bozer, I need you to get this phone to Riley as soon as possible. She's not answering her phone and they're walking into a trap.

Bozer: Wait, what?

MacGyver: We found something at the Assassin's hideout. His followers have infiltrated the Temple and they're going to take it over once they hook up the laptop's hard drive to the server.

Bozer: Wait are you serious?

MacGyver: We're flying back as fast as the wind will carry us. But I don't think it'll be fast enough to get the warning to Riley and Ember, so I'm counting on you.

Bozer: (As the realization sets in) We're on the way.

(Knowing the situation is dire, Bozer and Elora run off towards the server room, towards which we transition as well, to see Riley and Ember have almost finished setting the hard drive to boot)

TEMPLE COMPUTER CHAMBER - TWO MINUTES EARLIER

Riley: (Making a final connection) That should do it with the physical setup. Do we have the mirror ready on Shelley?

Ember: She's setup to record any data.

Riley: Alright then, booting up in three... two... one...

(Just as Riley is starting the boot up sequence, Bozer and Elora rush in)

Bozer: Don't boot that hard drive! It's a trap!

(As soon as Bozer says this, Riley starts ripping wires from the hard drive, attempting to stop the boot up, but it's too little too late, as the mirror system transfers some sort of virus from the hard drive to the system, causing the main computer to short out and break down, but not before activating the security doors, locking the Temple off from the outside world, and bathing everything in the red emergency lights, as the Assassin's voice comes over the loud speakers)

Assassin: The time has come my brothers and sisters! The enemy has been left vulnerable! Attack the Temple!

(Just like that, we transition to various rooms in the Temple, where the Assassin's followers have revealed themselves and started their takeover, leaving the team in the computer room with a look of shock as they realize exactly what's just happened, ending our scene for today.)
