Welcome back to Dragons Plus Phoenix. Last time, MacGyver and the company with him finished their plan to break through the security door to the Temple, by making a makeshift cannon that miraculously worked in breaking down the door. With their obstacle out of the way, MacGyver and his team entered the Temple, prepared for a fight. So, what are they up to? And what're Riley and the rest up to? Well, read on to discover...

(Our story opens on MacGyver and his team heading through the halls of the Temple, looking for any sign of their teammates. But just as they do, a set of the enemy troopers move around the corner. Thinking instinctively, Jack is about to shoot them when Flame puts a paw up to stop him)

Flame: Leave this to me.

(Before Jack can even react, Flame dashes in to the scene, disarming both of the guards before tying them up in their own gun straps)

Jack: (Seeing the impressive display of CQC) That was... awesome.

Flame: (Taking one of the guns and checking it for ammo before taking it up) Trust me, that's not even my fastest takedown.

Jack: (Sarcastically) Thanks for setting the bar so high.

Spyro: Now's really not the time to be flexing, Flame.

Flame: (Checking the sight on his gun) True. Let's consider it...

(But unbeknownst to Flame, another enemy soldier has snuck up behind them. Jack however notices, pucks up the other downed enemy's gun and shoots the enemy dead before he can even get close to Flame.)

Jack: Consider that a display of skill, American style.

Flame: (Genuinely caught off guard) Nice shooting Tex.

Cynder: Alright, everybody arm yourselves. We're going to need them as we get further in.

MacGyver: (As he's thrown Jack's pistol) Lead the way.

(As this team navigates through the corridors, we focus in on Riley, Ember, Bozer, and Elora, who we see peak out from behind a corner after some of the enemy guards walk by)

Riley: Where're we headed next?

Elora: If I had to guess, all the exits are shut from the lockdown system activation.

Bozer: Hold on, did you not hear that explosion earlier?

Ember: It was kind of hard to miss. Why?

Bozer: I've got a feeling that was Mac finding a way in. So we need to find our way in that direction.

Elora: Kind of hard to tell where it was.

Ember: Probably the main entrance if I had to guess. Seems to be the most likely entrance they blew up with whatever they did.

Elora: In that case, we'll need to cut our way through the dojo.

Riley: (Pulls up their audio only security system) How do we get there from here?

Elora: (Listens to the security system) Take the next three lefts and we'll be at a balcony overlooking the dojo. It's two rights to the exit from there

Riley: Alright, then let's get moving.

(With that, the quartet heads out, managing to stealth their way past almost the entirety of the enemy forces. But just as they arrive at the dojo, something catches Bozer's eye, and he doesn't like what he sees)

Bozer: Uh... guys... We've got a real problem here...

(As Riley, Ember, and Elora file back into the balcony, we see exactly what Bozer is so worried about. Three members of the group hooking up what looks like a safe to the statue in the center of the room)

Enemy Soldier 1: Is it ready?

Enemy Soldier 2: Just finishing the last fuses.

Enemy Soldier 3: Excellent. Soon we will avenge our Master by destroying this monument of sin. Just like the Assassin planned.

(As the three enemy soldiers continue their installation, Riley puts together the plan)

Riley: My god, that's what they've been planning.

Ember: All of this to plant a bomb in the Temple?

Bozer: It's a mass suicide is what it is. There's no way they're all getting out of here before that thing goes off. And chances are, it's only the first event.

Riley: You're probably right, Boze. This is going to be a powder keg just waiting to go off.

Elora: We'll have to capture someone along the way to get more information.

Bozer: Certainly. But right now we've got to get to Mac and tell them what's going on. Based on the timer on that bomb, we don't have much time.

(And as the group starts heading off towards their friends, we see the timer on the bomb reads only 25 minutes. And on this sight, we end our tale for today)

And that looks like a good spot to end for today. So it looks like taking the Temple is meant to be a powder keg to ignite a revolution among the followers of Malefor. Pretty simple story plot, but it works in the story. So now the teams are on their way to each other. So what's going to happen when they meet up? Tune in ext time to find out!
