Welcome back to Dragons Plus Phoenix. Last time, as MacGyver and his team made their way through the Temple entrance, and after procuring weapons from some of the enemy guards they started heading back. Meanwhile, Bozer and the rest made their way forward, but overheard that something was going down in the old Dojo, and checked it out, revealing the big plan. The Assassin's terrorists have set up a bomb, ready to destroy the Temple. Knowing they have to warn Mac and his team, the group heads forward. So what's going to happen next? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes in the middle of a firefight in the Temple cafeteria, where Flame and Jack are opening fire on a series of guards from behind cover with their captured guns, followed by a few arrow volleys by Hunter, as MacGyver works out a plan to get them past)

Jack: We could really use a plan here, Mac!

MacGyver: Working on it!

(At this point we see what MacGyver is trying to do, he's got more of his homemade black powder, a rag, and a glass bottle, then looks to Cynder)

MacGyver: Quick question, is your poison flammable?

Cynder: I... have no idea.

MacGyver: Then let's find out. (Hands her the rag) I need a little bit of it on this rag.

(Cynder, notably confused, still obliges, and pretty much soaks the rag in her poison)

Cynder: Is this enough?

Spyro: (Looks at the rag) Perfect.

(Using his sleeve as a makeshift glove, MacGyver stuffs the poison coated rag into the bottle, then taps Spyro on the shoulder, holding the bottle up to him)

MacGyver: Got a light?

Spyro: Hope this works.

MacGyver: It should. FIRE IN THE HOLE!

(And just like that, Spyro lights the poison coated rag, before MacGyver throws the bottle into the crowd of enemy soldiers, giving Flame and Jack just enough time to get to cover, and revealing the bottle to be a makeshift Molotov cocktail, which explodes into a vapor of glass fragments and whatever Cynder's poison is, each of the enemies nonverbally complaining that their eyes are quite literally melting)

Cynder: You do know that that poison is highly acidic, right?

MacGyver: (Somewhat surprised) I was hoping the flames would neutralize that.

Spyro: (Seeing the enemies) I think it amplified that, actually.

Hunter: We are very clearly not going that way.

MacGyver: Agreed. Is there another way out of here?

Spyro: Through the kitchen. We'll come back and scoop them up once the vapors dissipate.

(And while the enemies continue to writhe in pain, MacGyver and his team sneak out the back door through the kitchen. Meanwhile we focus in on Bozer and company, who are just running through the scene, curiously running into no guards. But in a few seconds we see why, as they literally run into MacGyver and company, quite literally knocking everybody over, causing a bit of a struggle as both groups think their under attack before everybody gets back up and stands apart from one another finally letting everyone see who's who)

MacGyver: Boze?

Bozer: We were hoping to run into you guys, but not quite literally.

Flame: Good to see you're all safe.

Riley: Believe me, so long as we're in here, none of us are safe.

Jack: Riley, what are you talking about?

Riley: This whole thing was a plot to set a bomb in the Temple, sparking a metaphorical powder keg to incite a revolution.

MacGyver: After sealing themselves in? This was a suicide mission through and through, wasn't it?

Jack: So Mac, what's the plan?

Ember: We were hoping you had one.

MacGyver: Get me in the room with that bomb, I can defuse it. Probably. But I'm going to need some tools.

Riley: Hopefully they'll have left something there.

MacGyver: Chances are the second we get into that room, the enemy is going to be onto us. They will not want us getting at that bomb.

Jack: Leave it to me and my scaly brother here.

Flame: (Reloading his gun) We've got all the defense you'll need.

MacGyver: Alright then, show me the bomb.

Elora: It's in the Dojo. I'll lead the way.

(And with that, the group heads towards the Dojo, where soon we see MacGyver confronted by the bomb, when his phone starts ringing, revealing Matty is calling again, which MacGyver puts on video speaker while everyone else splits up to see if the soldiers who armed it left any tools behind that MacGyver can use.)

MacGyver: Really don't have time to talk right now Matty. I'm kind of staring down a bomb right now.

Matty: Sounds like you figured out what they're up to.

MacGyver: More like we found the signal for a revolution. If the Temple blows up, Malefor's remaining followers will see it as the enemy falling and rise up to take out what's left. We've got to disarm this bomb before that can happen.

Matty: Then I'll let you get to that. Don't mess this up, Mac.

Bozer: Bad news Mac, there's no tools left here.

MacGyver: (Examining the bomb) That's... not good. This thing's got thermal triggers that will automatically set it off if it gets above a certain temperature. Not to mention wires that can only be cut by a very fine blade without setting things off.

(At this point, Spyro and Cynder realize they can be of help, starting with Cynder presenting her tail blade)

Cynder: Is this fine enough?

MacGyver: (Running his finger along the sharp, cutting it without effort) Definitely, but what about...

Spyro: (Letting a stream of icy vapor escape his mouth) No need to worry about temperature. I can handle that.

MacGyver: (Seeing the three of them must work together to do this) Alright. Let's do this.

Jack: (Cocking his gun) Alright then. Flame, Hunter, lock and load!

Flame: We're in the thick of it now boys!

(As the group makes their plan, we transition to a camera feed, where we see the Assassin's goons have been watching the entire time, and without even needing to say a word, the entirety of the enemy forces descend towards the Dojo, the image on which we end for today)

And that seems like a good spot to end for today. So looks like Mac's going to put his years as an EOD Tech to work in this mission. But will he be able to disarm the bomb in time with Spyro and Cynder's aid? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
