Narrator: As the coin of destiny is about to be flipped, let us view the entirety of the Lone Moon. Together, the people of Me-Hador relish the beauty of the brilliant moon overhead as another year ends. They recall sad partings and new acquaintances alike, but each person must still walk their chosen path alone. With each day, the presence of spring grows stronger and yet a lone moon still haunts the sky. A silent reminder, perhaps, of some inescapable truth...

(The coin flips, and lands on Kandan and Aiden)

Aiden(panting): Well, not my most extreme scheme, but it was worth it.

Camilla: Yes. We somehow managed to escape.

Daniel: This is one of the Imperial army's provisional camps. Here we can organize our forces.

Camilla: Before we go any further, I want all of you to really ask yourselves if you're certain you wish to join us. As expected, Rhonda has chosen to leave our ranks.

Aiden: Such a shame. The fates could've led her to us, but her bloodline had other ideas.

Randall: Well, if anything... When I saw our professor running off, I ran about as fast as I could to catch up.

Ronnie: But Randall. Death finds those who run without thinking. You gave no thought to the war fog. My grandfather was the leader of Lo-Mikada, and I hope for us to be allies with the Empire. I will be staying.

Marnie: W-Was this a good idea? Did I make the right choice? Oh, but my family is part of the Empire, and our professor is here...

Randall: You're fine here with us, Marnie. Though it's true that certain houses were against the Imperial princess...

Jason: I assume you are referring to my family. I must believe that the conclusion I came to was the correct one. You are the emperor now... I am the only one left who is qualified to guide you at this point.

Richard: I'm only here because I know it would be troublesome to stand against you.

Elena: I'm not just here for you, Cammy. I'm here to follow our dear professor. Of course, I don't have any territory to offer... so Danny may not even want me here.

Daniel: The greater our numbers, the better. Your reasons for being here are of no consequence.

Aiden: Look at us. We're all freaks and monsters. In the eyes of a holy society, that would be the truth, but what is it to us? Long ago, the people of this world mocked me for the kind of boy I was. Revengefully, I make this solemn pledge! This time, the conquered shall be the conqueror! We will rise to exceed the expectations of the holy society, and much more. No more hiding...

Marnie: Yes.

Aiden: No more holding back...

Randall: Yes.

Aiden: And no more kindness...

Elena: YES!

Camilla: Okay, we get the point Aiden. I think I understand where you are coming from. But now, I wish to hear of your resolve. Like you, I have risen to meet my destiny. I cut this path, and I will see it through to the end. Following me is akin to pointing a sword to all the Ancients. One misstep, and we fall to ruin. You have now witnessed the archbishop's true self. She is a cruel beast. Those who rule this world use that beast's power to fabricate miracles, all to control those who blindly believe in the Ancients. They conceal the truth and force their lies on the nobility. They mercilessly annihilate anyone who defies them. I know this because I have lived it. After what you have seen, is there any room for doubt? The Church of Hadoria has great influence and power. Their control over the lords of the Kingdom and the Alliance is nearly absolute. We are the only ones who can stop this indomitable enemy that has plagued our world for ages. We fight for humanity! For all of Me-Hador! If you dare walk this path with me, take your first step. It's now or never!

(The sound of the entire class stepping forward is heard)

Camilla: Thank you, my friends. We are the true face of the Empire, and we will triumph!

(Outside, Daniel is with Camilla)

Daniel: That was incredible, Lady Camilla.

Camilla: Thank you. Honestly, I'm relieved. They really chose to follow me... I was resolved to move forward alone if I had to, but in my heart I hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Daniel: So long as I am here, you will never be alone. Please do not forget that. And...it would seem that the professor also has a key role to play in this.

Camilla: You're right. Now, I must speak with our teacher. Please, make preparations. The messenger should be here shortly.

Daniel: Consider it done.

(Kandan is outside with Harold)

Harold(carrying gathered wood): None of us should wander alone. You, least of all. So much depends on you.

Kandan: I know. But you. You suffered alongside her, and then came to serve her. And Mystik?

Harold: She was born with her power. Besides, her ancestors had the same gift.

Kandan: Yes. Well, I guess I'd better see how Cammy is doing.

(He heads inside, and sure enough...)

Camilla: Kandan, may I speak with you?

Kandan: Of course.

Camilla: I appreciate it. I...

Kandan: What's wrong?

Camilla: I'm just...anxious. It feels like the weight of this burden is crushing me. At this very moment, on my orders, I'm starting a war. An army far larger than the one that attacked the Holy Tomb last month will soon be locked in battle. Long-devised strategies are unfolding across all Me-Hador. Leaders are deciding their loyalties and preparing to fight... So many generals and soldiers will die. It's inevitable that civilians will get caught up in the chaos as well. There will be countless casualties. With a single command, the flames of war will rage across all corners of this realm. And I am the one who is giving the order.

Kandan: This is the path you chose, isn't it?

Camilla: Yes, it is. There is no turning back. No matter how much blood flows at my feet, I will not relent. We must break the bonds that the depraved church has placed on Me-Hador. These sacrifices will allow us to create a future where we never need sacrifice again. It may seem contradictory, but it's the only way. Heh. Listen to me. I made up my mind long ago. Yet here I am, seeking your approval. Tell me the truth, my teacher. Are you happy with your decision to stand by my side. Unlike me, you can still walk away from all of this. This path leads to the death of the archbishop and the servants of the church. Can you live with that?

Kandan: I chose this path too. I wanted to be this way. I wanted to go with you. I wanted to annihilate Irma and her pathetic vision!

Camilla: I never thought... I'm sorry. It was a foolish question. I believe in you, Kandan. And you believed in me. With that knowledge, I have the strength to keep fighting. Let's go... There's something I need to say to Daniel.

Kandan: Right.

(Back at the center of the camp, a very important discussion is being had)

Daniel: Your Majesty, the latest report indicates that our main army is advancing as planned. Also, the preparations for your manifesto are almost complete.

Kandan: Manifesto?

Aiden: If it is so, then it should have a cool title. Something like 'The reality of Elysium', or 'The two sides of Hadoria'. You get my drift?

Daniel: It is not the title that matters.

Camilla: We will be distributing our manifesto to every lord within Me-Hador. We will expose the dark side of the Church of Hadoria and the foul practices of the nobles from the Kingdom and the Alliance. We will force the people of this world to open their eyes to the truth and relinquish any remaining conviction to unite against the empire. Certain nobles have already offered their support.

Daniel: There are other nobles who oppose the church. We will condemn those who deserve condemnation and forgive those who deserve forgiveness. We have already purged some of the Imperial nobles who are morally rotten. My father among them. How unfortunate.

Camilla: And soon we will invade and conquer our former home. Our main army has already departed the Imperial capital. They will arrive at the monastery in two weeks' time. There, we will join forces with them. As for us, I'd like your opinion on how we should be positioned within the army.

Kandan: We are the Imperial sword.

Daniel: Your majesty wishes to fight alongside the professor, correct? In that case, you will not be incorporated into the Empire's main army. Your squad can move freely about the battlefield under supervision of the Imperial forces... That would be most prudent.

Camilla: Now that I'm the emperor, we can't let it slip that I'm following your command in battle, Kandan.

Daniel: I fully object to the notion of you fighting on the front lines.

Camilla: Daniel. We've already discussed this.

Daniel: My apologies... I overstepped.

Camilla: Now that the details are settled, all that's left is come up with a name for ourselves. In honor at our time at the academy, how about we call ourselves the Talon Strike Force?

Kandan: I love it.

Aiden: As do I.

Camilla: I'm so happy you feel that way. I must confess that I spent all night thinking about it. I'll leave it to you to prepare the Talon Strike Force for departure.

Kandan: Right.

Jason: I asked Camilla what happened to my father. He was dismissed as prime minister and is under arrest in the Imperial capital. He always was a greedy, arrogant man. Some would say that this is the fate he deserves. And yet I cannot help but feel indignant. After all his hard work for the Empire, to be disgraced like this! I am conflicted, Kandan. I do not know what to do. As the next Duke Aegir, should I follow Camilla into battle?

Kandan: Jason, I have been by her side and yours throughout all the dangers we have been through. The skirmish against the bandits, that historical re-enactment, even the battles with Andre, Dairou, and Bellatrix. These events have prepared us for this day, and much more.

Richard: The most important nobles in the Empire are known for taking power from the previous emperor, my father included. I didn't think it possible that the Imperial princess could ascend the throne so easily. However, it seems that both my father and Randall's are supporting Camilla... Having both the Minister of Domestic Affairs and Minister of Military Affairs on your side gives you total control over the Empire's military and finances. They must have been making preparations for quite some time without anyone noticing...

Kandan: And we're the spark that's lighting this powder keg.

Randall: That could have gotten dangerous fast. If I stayed at the monastery, I would've had to fight my father! We aren't especially close, but he's not an opponent I'd want to face. I'd almost rather fight a monster! Anyway, it looks like he's going to be leading the western units. I wonder if we'll wind up fighting the Kingdom's army, and who decided to fight for the church...

Kandan: Yes.

Marnie: I don't even get my own room here! At least I had that at home. But speaking of home, Daniel told me something. He said my father was stripped of his title. I guess he did as he pleased and opposed Camilla. Wait, does that mean my father's going to be home all the time now? On second thought, I think I'm fine right here.

Aiden: That's a good idea at this point.

Elena: Camilla became emperor and raised an army, huh? Who knew the kid had it in her? I mean, yeah, of course, I knew she'd be emperor eventually, but... The more I think about it, the more surprised I am. I wonder who's going to win?

Aiden: Not those fools at Elysium. We will not lose.

Elena: Thinking about it makes me scared. We're fighting the Knights of Hadoria! Still, I know you'll figure something out.

Ronnie: The Empire and Lo-Mikada were once warring with each other. But now, I have made the decision to be fighting with the Empire. It is a choice of irony, I feel. But I am having no regret. My belief is with you and with Camilla.

Carol: Excuse me, sirs. I believe this is the first time we have met. My name is Carol. I have the great honor of leading Lady Camilla's personal guard. Her majesty is hard on others as she is on herself. She may seem composed, but that is only because she conceals her more passionate emotions. For that reason, she is often misunderstood. But now she has you by her side... I find that most reassuring. I look forward to working with you.

Aiden: As do we with you.

Vince: Name's Vince Archambeau, sirs. I'm not very high in the ranks yet, but I'm more or less a general. Just like Randall, I am from House Bergliez. My mother married into House Bergliez after I was born, so my position within the family is rather lowly... But I'm determined to make something of myself in this battle to bring glory to my part of the family, for the sake of my mother and sister!

Kandan: And you shall.

Aiden: All right. All right– listen up! We have our orders–Frontline duty, and I mean front! Down and dirty, just like they taught you.

Camilla: We will soon arrive at the academy. Forcing a surrender here is extremely significant, both strategically and symbolically. Of course, this is personal as well. This is where we all came together to learn and grow. I have no intention of yielding to our former classmates, so I ask that you prepare yourselves for anything.

Richard: I'm not thinking about friends right now, and I'm certainly not prepared.

Randall: Blast it, don't go around saying things that lower morale before we even get started! I'm ready! Let's go! Let's fight!

Elena: I have nothing to lose aside from my friends who are here with me. Does that answer satisfy you?

Ronnie: I have been ready for this since leaving my land of home. I will fight and win!

Marnie: How can you prepare to fight? Maybe I can prepare to prepare...

Jason: There is no reason I cannot be prepared. It is my duty to stand up and battle!

Camilla: Thank you all. Now, let's talk strategy.

Daniel: As the raiding force, we will attack the area nearest to the monastery. The Knights of Hadoria certainly won't stand down after they catch sight of Her Majesty and the professor. At the same time, the remaining areas will be surrounded and annihilated by the main army. In other words, we are the decoy that must suppress the enemy's most elite soldiers.

Camilla: We know more about the area near the monastery than anyone else in the Imperial army. Still, we must prepare for the worst. It's possible we will have to face the archbishop's true form-the Stormbringer Fight with all you have, but don't be reckless. As promised, I will leave the command to Kandan.

Kandan: There shall be no hesitation! We will not lose.

Daniel: Naturally. With both Her Majesty and yourself on our side, defeat is impossible.

Aiden: Everybody know what's going on? Everybody know where they are going?!

Squad: OOH-RAH!

Aiden: Everybody ready?!

Squad: OOH-RAH!

Aiden: Let's do this!

Camilla: This will be our first battle as the Talon Strike Force. All the more reason to prevail!

Narrator: Kandan and Aiden were more than ready to destroy Irma and her intentions! But...(As the coin flips over to Alvin, Dean, Logan, Oona, and Tyson)What of the family they left behind?

Irma: Unforgivable! I cannot believe that the Essena Empire would embark on such a violent course of action.

Sampson: The fault is my own. I failed to see the wickedness within young Camilla's heart.

Dean: Really? Is she wicked?

Sampson: She plotted with ill-meaning strangers to achieve her own ambitions and defiled the Holy Tomb. If that is not wicked, what is? Or perhaps her ambitions are even grander than we know. Perhaps she is planning to make herself a false deity by demonizing the Church of Hadoria...

Tyson: That is never to be! Even if I do not have what I truly want, I will not stand for this insurrection!

Dean: Neither will we, but this goes far beyond a mere insurrection.

Irma: Essena received its very name through a divine oracle. To injure the ancients is a sin most foul that shall not be forgiven nor forgotten. We must stop the Empire...and quickly.

Annabelle: I have returned, Irma.

Irma: Welcome back, Annabelle. Were you able to discern the Empire's movements?

Annabelle: Their main troops are marching towards Elysium. It is said that they will join forces with an army under the command of Sporedite carrier Nina, who is also called Hexina and arrive within two weeks.

Sampson: Two weeks? That is not enough time! It will require all of our efforts just to prepare our defenses before then. We must send notice to all surrounding villages at once. We must order the residents of Elysium to flee for their lives.

Annabelle: It will be done.

Dean: Another Sporedite wielder?

Alvin: Nonetheless, Oona and Kenneth won't care either way.

Logan: Yeah, but this 'Hexina' might have some backup. If so, then we could be in trouble.

Irma: Um... Tyson...listen closely. If our enemy invades the monastery, I will have no choice but to stand upon the battlefield. If something happens to me...I am entrusting my sacred duties to you.

Tyson: Really?

Irma: You must have guessed it by now. The truth of who you are. Or perhaps I should say, your lost memories are surely beginning to return. I have acted all these long years as a mere proxy for you. But the duty is yours and yours alone. Only you can lead the people of this world.

Tyson: Oh. Well, I shall do what is right to do so.

Dean: Come on, we got us an invasion to quell.

Kenneth: Grr... I'll have that girl's head. Just you wait...

Oona: Patience Kenneth, we shall make an example of this Sporedite wielder. AND THEN WE WILL DESTROY THAT WOMAN!

Braddock: The Empire is moving quickly. Camilla must have been preparing for this for a while now. If you really think about it, she must have been planning for this even before you got the Sword of the Creator... Of course, she was always a step ahead of us. We were blinded by the ball and the Battle of the Eagle and Lion, and everything else... Then again, we must be dealing with another set of her friends, one of which has a Sporedite!

Logan: Yes.

Luke: His Highness calls for the head of Camilla. For me, that is cause enough to fight.

Alvin: Aw Luke, not you too. I mean, come on! First my friend and sister, and now you? You're truly all right with that?

Luke: The hatred of His Highness is also my hatred. Any other feelings I may have for her are irrelevant. And if Camilla was responsible in any way for the Tragedy of Kiadan, that is something I cannot ignore. If that is the case, then she is my enemy.

Alvin: You saw it too, didn't you? The boar's true nature. He's hidden his desire for revenge pretty well. But now it's stirred up. Well, regardless. That girl's starting an all-out war, isn't she? But an enemy is an enemy, no matter who they are. Don't let compassion for her get in your way.

Crista: I'd want to agree with you, but even I know where this could all lead...

Cassidy: Once the Imperial army reaches the monastery, we'll have no choice but to fight...

Donovan: What's going to happen to us?

Alvin: Everything will be all right.

Donovan: I believe you. With the knights on our side, and especially with you, Alvin, I know we can do this!

Zane: Things must be pretty crazy in Kalos about now. My father must be beside himself. I don't get it. Why did Camilla make enemies with the nobles?

Crista: I have no idea.

Zane: Me either... Of course, even if we did get it, what do we do about it? I hope this all gets sorted out quickly and safely. I'm worried about my father.

Nora: I guess we have no choice but to fight, have we? Oh, but why would Camilla do something like this? I'm sure we'll be all right though, Crista. The Ancients will keep us safe.

Katie: I've known His Highness since I was a child, but I've never seen that side of him before. He seemed like a completely different person than the one I know...

Eric: The Empire's aggression cannot stand. But if we are going to attack them now, we must be honest with ourselves about our chances of success. It goes without saying that I will fight the Imperial army with everything I have, for as long as I am able. But House Gloucester's territory is adjacent to Imperial lands. Let us proceed with caution.

Wallace: You said it, bucko.

Jordan: I hear the Alliance's territory will be in danger if we don't get rid of these Empire guys! If the Alliance is in danger, that means my sister's in danger too! There's no way I'm gonna allow that. It doesn't matter how many guys they throw at us, I'll beat 'em all! These muscles aren't just for show! But first, I gotta get some food.

Logan: Okay...

Ricky: You know, Dean, I'm glad that I came to the Academy. I feel accepted here. I've learned so much. Honestly, I'm surprised at how much I've grown. So, I will not let the academy be destroyed. It's important to me, and I will protect it!

Dean: I feel the same.

Ricky: I feel braver just hearing you say that Dean. We're gonna win this, Dean!

Kristy: So, Camilla, the one who calls herself the Shadow Knight, was connected to those strange beings. The Imperial army might be using even more terrifying methods than we know. You had better be cautious, Logan. Any amount of carelessness might prove to be our undoing.

Logan: I will.

Samantha: At times like this, I just feel so anxious, you know? But you'll watch out for me there. Right, Dean?

Dean: I will.

Ava: What is Camilla even trying to achieve? She wants to destroy the church so badly that she'll take on anyone who doesn't fall in line? I don't get it.

Wallace: Her ideals are in conflict with yours.

Ava: I just can't believe she'd start a war over it. Not to mention using such nasty tactics to get her way. Could Captain Janus' death have also been a part of her plan?

Wallace: That, I do not know.

Tyson: Well, you guys seem to have mixed feelings.

Dean: I'd say my brother isn't even getting that wartime spirit, even if he was imprisoned alongside us.

Alvin(finally losing it): SHE HELD ME AGAINST MY WILL AND YOURS! i WAS FORCED TO ROT IN THAT CELL FOR A CHUNK OF MY YOUNG LIFE! Well, not this time. THIS TIME, SHE, AND HER MASTER WILL KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO ROT FOR YEARS ON END!(Oona is shocked and impressed)

Crista: Guess even he knows what must be done.

Aegis: Listen up, everyone! The Imperial army is upon us. If you can fight, pick up a weapon! Everyone else, hurry up and evacuate! We have the protection of the Ancients on our side. We have nothing to fear. Victory will be ours!

Paula: You guys ready?

Dean: Almost.

Paula: Well, hurry up. I don't need to tell you that the situation is dire. We have some support troops from the local nobles, but the army we're facing is immense. No matter how you look at it, we're at a disadvantage. To make matters worse, the enemy is being led by a Sporedite wielder. Do not underestimate how extraordinary her abilities are.

Samantha: She's here already? Talk about impatient!

Braddock: If we don't stop them, the academy will be destroyed. Prepare for battle, everyone!

Kristy: We will stop this warrior and her rampage!

Ricky: Our opponent is formidable, but if we work together, we will not fail.

Jordan: Enough talking! Let's go!

Rhonda: I shall fight with all that I have. It is an honor to fight alongside each of you!

Samantha: Logan, Braddock… You'll lead the way, won't you? You won't let any of us fall, right?

Kenneth: They're here. At long last.

Alvin: It seems this will be a battle to remember. About time.

Donovan: I'll never give up, no matter how outnumbered we are. I'll fight to the very end!

Zane: Hm, I should have made a move on the Imperial princess before things got this far. It could have changed everything.

Nora: We have the goddess's divine protection on our side. All that's left to do is to try our best.

Cassidy: All we can do is fight as best as we can. Though...if I'm being honest, I'm really scared right now...

Katie: We can't just hand over the Kingdom and the monastery. We'll stop her, no matter what it takes!

Luke: Your Highness, you do not seem...well.

Kenneth(In an insane tone, chuckles deliriously): Unwell, you say? What's gotten into you? Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm so happy I can hardly contain myself. My father, my stepmother, my dear friends? They want her head. They want her life! They've whispered as much to me. And the chance to answer their pleas has arrived at long last!

Oona: Yes. Make an example of this Sporedite holder so that she will serve as a warning to all who would follow her master's lead.

Dean: Honestly, you three can't think of anything else besides blood?

Alvin: Well, we can. It's just that we don't want to, that's all.

Logan: Whatever. Just, for our sake... Don't act rashly. We're all in this together.

Kenneth(in a maniacal tone. Laughs dementedly): Of course, of course! But don't mistake my intentions. Camilla will die by my hand, and mine alone.

Oona: Yes. But first, let us show this Sporedite wielder what's coming for her!

Braddock: Oh man. I wanted to talk to Irma first, but as expected, that won't be possible. What did she hope to accomplish at the Holy Tomb? What happened to you as a baby? There are still so many things I need to know. The same goes for the real origin of the Crest Stones and the Heroes' Relics. As for Hadoria and Novox…just how much of their mythology is true?

Logan: We know so little.

Braddock: It's true. But lucky for me, I refuse to die with so much still unknown. Hey, Logan… All joking aside. Can we possibly survive this battle?

Logan: We'll find a way.

Braddock: That's all we can do, right? If we gave up, the god of fate wouldn't be happy. I'm a lot of things, but I'm not the kind of man to just roll over and die in a place like this. I have my own ambitions to see to. There are things…dreams…that I must see come to fruition. And I've been thinking. I want you to see those dreams realized as well. On top of all that, there are still so many secrets out there, just waiting to be uncovered. We can't let that stand, can we? So, Logan… No, scratch that. You're so much more. You're my ally and my friend. Teach… Friend… None of those words quite capture what you've come to mean to me. We may not be connected by blood, but I believe our bond goes deeper than that. Now that we know each other, our hearts are connected. Even if our paths diverge and we're forced to say good-bye… I know that we'll meet again. And so, for lack of a better word, I gratefully call you my friend, and I hold fast to the belief that this isn't it for us. No matter who or what you really are, I'll always be on your side. You can't count on much in this world, but you can count on that.

Dean: Hey guys, we can't just let our wild bloodhounds take all the glory, now can we?

(Outside)

Knight of Hadoria: I have a report! The enemy is within the walls. They're about to break the defensive line!

Luke: The archbishop and the defensive line both require our assistance. We must protect them until reinforcements get here.

Hexina: Milady will have her prize, foolish followers of Hadoria. That fortress is a tiny island surrounded by a sea of darkness. And the tide rises against you!

Knight of Hadoria: Report! The enemy has taken the entrances there the reinforcements were heading!

Braddock: So long as we can recapture the east and west strongholds, we might be able to call in the reinforcements...

Hexina(to herself): Milady did say that if all else failed, we'd have Lord Cronos backing us up. But still, I will prove myself to both her, and my sister!(Aloud)Primal Knight, don't let anyone near your point!

Primal Knight: Of course, Mistress.

Hexina: Morgoth, keep any pests off your turf!

Morgoth: If you insist.

Hexina: Mega Knight, Tsunami, you're with me.

Mega Knight: And on the frontline too!

(Driven by their bloodlust, Kenneth, Alvin, and Oona massacre the warriors stationed to Morgoth)

Morgoth: Lady Camilla held you in such high esteem. In the end, however, it seems like you are nothing more than a slave to the ancients. Allow me to cut you loose from this burden, by erasing you from this world!

Oona: You wish!

Morgoth: I can afford to fall back. We still have the advantage.

Luke: One stronghold secured.

Logan: Hey, just what kind of warriors are you?

Primal Knight: Heh, as if you knew. This battlefield is too chaotic... for us to kill each other upon… Still, if you wish to fall here, then I will honor that wish!

Logan: Never!

Primal Knight: The time is not right... I will wait for the next opportunity…

Braddock: All right, we took back both of the strongholds. Let's keep up the momentum!

Dean: You said it!

Hexina: You cannot win. The armies of the Dark Ones, like all their powers, are limitless!

Alvin: Bring it on!

Mega Knight: Haha, now it is time for the Mega Knight to show his stuff! A wonderful chance to earn some recognition! I'll be the one to take down the academy and all it stands for! But for someone who isn't so special, here's what I plan to do. Since you are a determined little man, I have no choice but to distinguish myself in this fight!

Alvin: I couldn't have said it better myself!

Mega Knight: Argh! I'm finished. I'm loathe to say it, but I must retreat...

(Alvin shoots an arrow from his crossbow, and it puts a dent in Hexina's ego)

Tsunami: You! I will not allow you to get any closer to Mystik's sister!

Dean: Mystik has a sister? Wow didn't see that coming.

Tsunami: I was there, you know? I was just an armless girl, yet they kept pouring. Every inch of my body had just been flooded, and they still weren't satisfied! I was screaming and straining, and they still weren't satisfied! My entire body transformed, and my arms were restored. My life was changed forever by Her Majesty... Now, I lay it on the line. For the Empire!

Dean: Yeah, not like we haven't seen it all from you guys.

Tsunami: Cammy, I'm so sorry! I can't keep going! I must retreat!

Kenneth: Well now, Ms. Hexina. You're late. I... We are all tired of waiting. Now, let's separate that sick head from your neck, shall we?

Hexina: Heh. You never were one for patience. But hey, I'd like to do the same thing to you. It is my specialty after all.

Braddock: Here she is- the mighty Sporedite holder- looking pleased as a dog with a stick. What exactly happened to make you this way?

Hexina: I'm simply seeing through a promise I made to myself and Milady a long time ago.

Braddock: Isn't this much force excessive? Thanks to you, my own long-held ambitions are nearly destroyed.

Hexina: If you don't want them to be destroyed completely, I suggest you turn tail and flee. That is, if you still have some fight in you, which I highly doubt you have. And as for the rest of you... I wish you were someone whose heart could be swayed by the words and deeds of Milady. If it were so, I would have done anything to make you my ally... But now, you are nothing more than a nuisance. And I take pride in crushing any nuisance to my mistress, even if it is you!

Dean: Let's do it!

(Oona, Logan, and their cousins combine attacks)

Hexina: You fought well. But now, your fight is over. Send in our reserve troops and give Lord Cronos the signal!

Irma: What… is this?!

(In the distance near a town by the outer walls of the academy, a large reserve of Empire soldiers is seen charging towards it. On a cliff overlooking the approaching reserve, Tyson looks on.)

Tyson: Even though we are cornered, I will never lose hope!

Irma: Of course... Everyone here, young and old, is in your hands.

Tyson: Thank you Irma, for everything. But now, perhaps it is time to expel these invaders!(He transforms into a horned dragon called Wing-Horn)

Hexina: So, the Wing-Horn do exist.

Irma: No. I will not allow another Red Canyon tragedy to happen here.

(Irma transforms into the Stormbringer and takes flight towards the reserve. Meanwhile, Braddock and Kenneth are seen fighting off straggling Empire soldiers. Braddock notices the approaching reserve while Kenneth busily fights on)

Braddock: What is going on?

(Both dragons land and proceed to attack the reserve, forcing them to retreat back. The town is destroyed in the process. As some Empire soldiers watches the battle unfold, one of the soldiers quickly notice four Demonic Beasts charging towards the fight.)

Empire Soldier: What now?

(The four Demonic Beasts pounce on the pair, knocking them down and pinning them both against a monastery wall.)

Oona: I've gotcha covered bro!

(She uses her Relic to help the two and attacks one of the Beasts. As both dragons knock away the Beasts, part of the wall, which overlooks a large abyss, is destroyed with a Beast falling to its death below. The remaining Demonic Beasts are crushed by rubble in the ensuing collapse of the wall.)

Logan: Man, I didn't know you had it in you to do something like that.

Tyson: Yeah, I guess you could say...(He notices Cronos)You?

Logan: Cronos!

Cronos: Nice work, lady and gentlemen. You've up and secured your own demise!(He launches a ball of energy that knocks the five back towards the now-exposed abyss. The ensuing explosion causes them to fall into the abyss below. The Stormbringer lets out a horrified roar as Logan and co scream and falls to a apparent doom into the darkness below. The scene fades out, as the coin flips back to Kandan and Aiden.)

Sampson: Friends! Our opportunity for victory will come, but first we must see to our defenses!

Daniel: The city's defenders are trying to stall for time. We must crush them swiftly. We should be wary of ambushes as well.

Aiden: Aye.(He uses his Kunai to take out some warriors alongside Broadedge and the Mechtanium Force)

Carol: Just what we need! I knew Her Majesty's allies would help us out.

Vince: Let's see if we can make these fools scream for mercy!

Brett: Right behind ya!

Knight of Hadoria: Now! Hidden Soldiers, attack!

Overblaze: Sounds like we're stalled.

(Meanwhile, Kandan leads Marnie, Randall, Jason, and Ronnie in helping Carol with some warriors)

Harlan: If you side with the Empire... If you turn your sword on the church and the Kingdom... I care not who you are. I will end you just the same.

Kandan: Harlan, if only you saw the truth behind the cause you serve.(He strikes his first opponent down)

Harlan: In my master's name, I cannot allow myself to fall here... I must withdraw.

Sampson: You will survive this hardship! Just hold on!

Hexina: Sister, I've come to fulfill the will of the fates.

Aiden and Kandan: Sister?

Mystik: It's a complicated story right now, but all shall be revealed in time.

(The six move on to aid Daniel, Camilla, Vince, Richard, and Elena in dealing with Rhonda)

Rhonda: Kandan, why?! Do you not see the cruelty of this?

Kandan: Oh Rhonda, you could've stayed with us and answered the will of the fates. Instead...(He strikes her down the same way)

Rhonda: Must protect...Elysium... I must protect...everyone...

Sampson: Retreat while you still can, Rhonda! I beg you!

Rhonda: Understood... Stay safe Fa-Brother!

Aiden(after he and the other five have dealt with the backup and reunited with the others): Aw, how cute.

Blood Trooper: We will lend the Empire strength...

Aiden and Kandan: Huh?!

Camilla: Don't worry. We're allies now... I understand you must have many questions, but they'll have to wait until after the battle.

Kandan: Look who's all alone!

Sampson: Traitor! I will not forgive you for turning on Irma!

Kandan: Neither will I for following a decaying practice!

Irma: Sampson, Rhonda, Harlan... You put your lives on the line to protect us. I would have preferred to have more time to prepare, but we cannot delay any longer. Come forth! Protect Elysium from these despicable rebels!

(Two Golems appear at the drawbridge, while four Church Soldiers position themselves in front of Irma.)

Aiden: Well, lookie who brought the big guns.

(Paula and two more Church Soldiers take the left flank)

Paula: I'll crush them all.

Kandan: I always wanted to see which of the Heroes' Relics was stronger.

(Quinn and two more Church Soldiers take the right flank)

Quinn: Her enemies are my enemies.

Vex: Kid's got some backbone, but is it enough?

(Paula and Kandan face each other as Aiden and the others take on the golems)

Paula: I trusted you. Lady Irma trusted you. I won't let you live after what you've done.

Kandan: Is that so?

Paula: As long as I have Thunderbrand Kandan, you're not going anywhere.

Kandan: The power of two legendary figures is with me, I can never be stopped!

(Their clash sends shockwaves throughout the land, until Kandan defeats Paula)

Paula: Lady Irma, I'm sorry. Please stay safe.

Irma: All is well, Paula. You must not die here.

(Kandan gives off a wicked smile as he approaches Quinn, who is cornered by Aiden and the Blood Trooper)

Quinn: I'll protect Lady Irma against anyone! Even if it's you, I'll fight ya as hard as I can!

Kandan: Brave words, for so little backbone. But can you keep it up?(While his opponent does not have a Relic, the fight is still intense)

Quinn: Lady Irma, I couldn't fight hard enough. I'm sorry...

Irma: Quinn... Your sacrifice will not be in vain.

Kandan: Now, it's just down to the three of us.

Irma: You... How dare you betray me... You worthless piece of garbage... I will punish you myself!

Kandan: Yell all you like, I have made my choice, and I have no regrets!

Irma: Grr... No matter your reasons, I cannot permit you to go on living any longer!

Camilla: The feeling is mutual. I must put a stop to your reign of tyranny!

Irma: You must know what a fool you are! The greatest of sins is to make an enemy of all the Ancients!

Camilla: I have only made an enemy of the church, not of the faith.

Irma: What's wrong with all you people!? Why you gotta be such haters!? Raaaargh! I will not...allow Elysium...or my mother to fall! Arrrrgh!(Transforms into the Stormbringer)

Stormbringer: You will not be forgiven!

Camilla: Kandan, look out!

Imperial Soldier: Oh no. The castle is crumbling! We must escape!

Daniel: Kandan, take cover!

Camilla: KANDAN!

Narrator: In Imperial Year 1181, the new Essenan emperor, Camilla Toussaint, led a strategic assault against all Elysium. Though her own losses were great, her foes had no choice but to surrender. Archbishop Irma commanded the Knights of Hadoria, leading from the front lines against the Imperial army. After a hard-fought battle, she was forced to retreat to Fhirdiad, the capital of Kalos, where she must now plan her next move. Meanwhile, on another side to this, Sporedite wielder Hexina's own assault faltered, but still managed to pull through. With this single attack, the Essena Empire officially launched its offensive against the Holy Kingdom of Kalos and the Evo Alliance. The unification of Me-Hador has begun. Well, now. It sounds like our heroes seem to be walking different paths at this point, doesn't it? And as new players emerge, it seems pretty clear that this war game has officially begun!
