Zuma immediately started walking around school and looking for Chase, hoping he was here.
She looked everywhere and asked people if they had seen him, but no one saw him and she couldn't find him anywhere.
Finally she gave up and sat down in the empty chair, head in her hands.
It was her only chance to talk to him, and he wasn't even here.
Just then, she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Zuma looked up, hoping to see chase, but was very disappointed to see it was Skye.
- What do you want? Zuma asked rudely.
Skye didn't even flinch at the rude voice, as she had expected it to be.
- Listen Zuma, I know you hate me, but I really have to tell you something ... Skye told her as she sat down next to her. She took a deep breath and continued ... Okay, so I know you know Chase went to my party and I know you probably got a video of us kissing ... I just wanted to say I did set him up in some way. He didn't want to kiss me, but I surprised him and told my friends to take pictures ... I'm really sorry Zuma, I was selfish and now I can see that I did real harm. Chase really loves you and I made a mess so I just wanted to say that nothing is his fault and everything is mine. Skye admitted with an apologetic expression.
- So he was telling the truth? Zuma thought and began to feel even worse.
- Well thank you for being so honest Skye, I really appreciate it. Zuma thanked her with a slight smile.
- No problem, and when you chase you can tell him I'm sorry?
- Definitely.
- Well, I have to go now. Thank you for listening. Skye told her with a smile and went out onto the dance floor.
When Zuma watched him disappear into the crowd, she thought she could see the hair of a "princess" or Marta Miller if you prefer.
Zuma got up and came to take a closer look and it was definitely Marta.
- Marta! Zuma called and ran to her, loudly tapping her heels on the floor.
She know Ryder had come with Marta, and she hoped they knew where Chase was.
Zuma reached Martha and grabbed her arm to get her attention.
- Zuma? Where have you been? Ryder is looking for you! Marta asked, surprised to see her here.
Ryder told her about Chase and Zuma's argument and how he tried to bring them together.
- We have to find Ryder. I want to talk to you. Marta told her and grabbed her hand as they started walking so that she would not get lost in the crowd.
He turned and ran to them.
- You are here! Zuma, you have to come with us right now, don't ask questions and I already asked your mom and she agreed. Ryder told her quickly and pulled her to the exit.
- Wait where ... Zuma started, but Martha said firmly.
- No questions asked! As they walked across the parking lot towards Ryder's car.
Everyone got in and Ryder started driving.
- You look really nice Zuma, I love your hair! Marta told her when they left the parking lot.
- Thank you, but I really want to know where we're going. Zuma told her.
- You will see. Martha simply said.
A few minutes later they pulled into the driveway in front of Ryder's house.
- Chase is at home. You'll thank me later! ... Ryder told her with a smile ... The door is open so you can just come in and my mom knows so you don't have to worry. Chase is in his room.
Zuma squealed with excitement, quickly got out of the car and ran to the front door.
Chase was sitting in his room, bored of bouncing the ball against the wall.
He lay down and closed his eyes, but opened them quickly when he heard the front door open with a thud and the sound of heels tapping on the floor and the stairs leading up to his room.
He sat up in bed confused and before he could think about what had happened, the door to his room opened and the lights came on, making him blind his eyes.
- Chase! He heard him shouting none other than Zuma.
He quickly opened his eyes to see a zume rushing towards him, all dressed up from dancing.
Before he could think about what was happening, she hugged him tightly and kissed him all over his face, covering him with a lip gloss.
- Zuma ?! ... He finally said when she sat up and stopped kissing him ... Zuma, what are you ...
It was cut short when Zuma hugged him as if her life depended on it.
Then she started crying on his chest.
- Chase, I love you so much! I didn't want you to cry! I do not hate you. love you more than anything else! Please forgive me, I didn't mean to hurt you! She was crying.
Chase could barely understand what was happening.
But he heard her say she loved him, and that was all that mattered.
Happiness filled his heart as he hugged her closer.
He gave her back all the kisses and wiped away her tears.
- Don't cry, Zumi. I forgive you. Alright ... you don't have to be sad, I'm not mad at you. he whispered to her with a smile on his face.
He finally made her look at him, and though her face was wet with tears, it was still beautiful to him.
He pressed his lips against hers and gave her the most loving kiss he could.
- I love you honey. He told her, drawing her into another hug.
- I love you too, Chase ... She told him ... I will always be. Let's just make a promise that we will never lie to ourselves again.
- Well I promise ... the chase told her with a smile and kissed ... You look so beautiful by the way. I love your hair.
- Thank you. Zuma thanked him with a kiss.
Marta and Ryder returned to dance while Zuma stayed with chas and they had their own dance in his living room and they couldn't be happier.
They both knew there would be more rough roads in their relationship, but that night they made a promise of love, trust and honesty.
And none of them planned to break that promise ...
