After waking up Henry goes back to the house with the child who is playing outside again, he approaches the child and introduces himself and the child introduces himself to Henry (his name is Peter Pastor) and Peter plays with Henry and although Peter was initially skeptical about Henry carrying the glass bottle Henry just said he is carrying it because he wants to collect and Peter has fun playing with Henry who seems nice and well-mannered while Henry is formulating his plan to kill Peter with the bottle as Henry especially wants to kill Peter because he reminds him of his cousin Mark who he tried and failed to kill.
Henry has since talked Peter into playing with him at the secluded area where he was staying when suddenly Henry says "Hey Peter" who responds with a "yeah" and smashes the bottle on Peter's head, Peter then falls down and Henry holds his hand on Peters mouth so he can't be heard screaming and stabs the bottle into his neck and into the jugular vein, which kills Peter in less than a minute, Henry enjoyed killing Peter and seeing the fear and pain in his face. After killing Peter, Henry walks towards Peters house, throwing the bottle down a storm drain on the way. Henry then goes into the garage which has been open all day, fills the mini bike up with gas and then walks the mini bike away from the neighborhood then starts the bike and rides to northwestern Indiana over the next 8 hours, after stopping and sleeping after arriving in northwestern Indiana, Henry once again steals clothes and a wig and disposes of the bloody clothes and bathes in a river, he also steals some orange spray paint which he paints the minibike so if it is reported stolen no one can recognize it and then goes to buy more gas for the minibike.
After filling the bike up Henry finishes the ride to Chicago and buys a lot of fruit to sell to people to make more money to sustain himself, he goes door to door selling fruit to people for more than what he paid for the fruit and he sells a lot because he manipulates people into thinking he is a poor starving kid in dire need of money and ends up making $400 for it in just one day.
The next day Henry bought more fruit to sell in a different neighborhood and made another $400. The day after while Henry was buying more fruit he saw a newspaper about Peter's body being discovered, which did not scare Henry at all. At the end of the day Henry made $500 for selling the fruit for a total of $1200, then Henry sells the minibike for $600 and after that Henry found an old couple who he manipulated into letting him live with them for a while.
After settling with the old couple Henry started mapping out his plot for revenge again and tortured and killed a lot of animals too help him stay patient and expose his survival too quickly, However he did plot to kill more children while he waited and started digging a hole to bury the animal bodies and his next murder victims, when the old couple asked him about the hole he manipulated them into thinking it was for a water line.
