Bonded By Love-Ch 20
Derek and Penelope stepped off of the elevator and were met by the rest of the team, Hotch handed her a file and said, "I need for you to find all of the financial information and anything that our victims have in common and call us on the jet".
Penelope said, "yes sir" and watched as the others stepped onto the elevator, Derek walked over to her and handed her the keys to his truck and said, "here sweetness, take these and drive my truck home with you okay"?, she said, "but" and before she could say anything else his lips were on hers.
The team all stood there smiling and watching the two kiss, they pulled apart and Derek said, "take my truck, I don't want you walking back and forth to work". She sighed and said, "alright, alright you win, you win I'll drive your truck" and she stood waving at her team of heroes as the doors closed.
She sighed and then turned around and headed back to her lair to get started working on getting the information that Hotch had asked for. It was only a matter of a few minutes before she said, "well this is interesting" and she hit a few more keys and said, "you sneaky little vixen you".
Penelope let her fingers fly across her keyboard as she had several searches going at the same time and by the time she was finished she was able to find out that all of the victims had made several large deposits for the same amount $100,000 dollars into their accounts within 3 days of each other.
She bit down on her bottom lip and hit a few keys on her computer and said, "sir, I was able to get the information that you asked for", everybody looked up from their paperwork and she said, "all of your victims all had large deposits to their accounts and all deposits were within 3 days of each other".
Dave said, "how much were the deposits"?, Penelope said, "$100,000 each sir" and Reid said, "was their anything else that our victims had in common Garcia"?, Penelope said, "well they all went to the same high school and graduated with honors, but, other than that I wasn't able to find anything else".
JJ said, "did any of our victims have any children"?, Penelope said, "only the first victim Shelly Winters and the last victim Sheena Wallace, each had a daughter". Derek said, "are the children around the same age"?, Penelope hit a few keys and said, "yes, they are both 4 years old" and she popped up pictures of both children onto the computer screen.
Emily said, "they could pass for twins", Penelope pulled up their birth certificates and said, "no father was listed on either birth certificate Em but I'll dig a little deeper and hit ya back, Garcie out" and Derek couldn't help but smile at her before the screen went blank.
Penelope said, "alright, now think Garcia, where could you look up information that's not on their birth certificates" and then she remembered that none of the victims were married soooo maybe the two that had kids were artificially inseminated" so then her fingers went flying once again across the keyboard.
She sat and looked at picture after picture before the two victims pictures popped up onto her screen, she said, "bingo, nowwwwwww let's see if you have the same donor". She did her thing and was able to find out that both children were fathered by the same donor a Robert Collins so she hit a few keys on her computer and saw the smiling faces of the team in front of her.
Hotch said, "what were you able to find out for us Garcia"?, she said, "well sir the reason their was no fathers name on the birth certificate was that both women were artificially inseminated". Derek said, "and who was the donor, were you able to find that out goddess"?, she said, "but of course, the donors name is Robert Collins and i just sent his last known address to your phones".
JJ said, "you rock Garcie", she said, "awwww thank you, now you guys be careful, Garcie out" and the team watched as her face disappeared again and the screen turned dark. Dave said, "she's good", Hotch nodded his head and said, "she's without a doubt the best analyst I've ever seen and I'm so glad that she agreed to come work with us".
He then looked at the team and said, "when we land Derek I want you and Reid to go to the address that Penelope sent us and see what you can find out". He then looked at JJ and Emily and said "and I want you two to go to the last crime scene and check it out and Dave and I will go to the ME's office and see what we can find out", everybody nodded their heads yes in agreement.
