It was raining outside. It was that time of year Chiron and Mr.D opened the weather barrier to water the strawberries.
The demigods had to stay in their cabins.
Since it was early morning, naturally, the Apollo kids rode with the sun. But as the clouds clouded the sunny skies, many Apollo kids had the hope that they could sleep in longer.
"So.Tired!" Kayla said
"Quit being so dramatic!" Austin said rolling his eyes
"I mean, when's the last time we had hope to sleep!" Said Gracie
Will sighed
"At least you guys are year round! I have homework!" Addison complained
"Yeah! Enjoy your math!" Will chuckled
"You're mean!" Addison said sticking her tongue out
"Maybe I am, but you guys wouldn't last a day without me!" Will said
"Technically, we spend almost all the time without you!" Kayla retorted
"Yeah. Either you're overworking yourself in the infirmary or making out in the hades cabin with your boyfriend!" Gracie said from the top bunk, high giving Addison.
Will blushed hard
"Uggggh! You guys! I'm trying to go back to sleep so shhhh!" Jerry complained.
"Nope! You're staying awake with us!" Addison said.
"You guys are horrible!" Jerry announced
"Yeah, we are. But you love us!" Austin said.
"We're all a mess!" Addison said rolling on her bunk and intentionally falling down.
"We let her be my assistant therapist?!" Will asked, smirking, pointing to Addison
"You suggested it." Kayla pointed out.
"Yeah! You love me bro!" Addison said
Will kicked her hair aside "Sure." He said
"You're just mean to me because I prank you!" Addison said
"And you brought the others into it!" Will said
"All in a days work for a legacy of Hermes!" Addison said
"The convincing comes from Venus, probably." Austin said
"Yeah. I keep forgetting Addy is Roman and Greek!" Kayla said
"Venus is my great grandma or something" Said Addison, finally getting up from the now, rock cold floor.
"She looks old enough to be your big sister at the least." Gracie said.
"Dad doesn't look as old as a dad of over six kids should either!" Addison pointed out.
"True." Gracie said
"AAAUSTIIN! Do something!!" Kayla whined
"Yeah! Play something!!" Addison suggested
"Why me?!" He asked, "Tell 'Mr.You won't last a day without me' to do something!" Austin said grumpily
Will chuckled, "You know how people expect Apollo kids to be all sunny? You think we could ever actually pull it off?" He asked
"Us?" Jerry said snickering, "No way!" He said
Austin shook his head
"Nope!" Kayla said hanging upside down from her bed.
"Nah." Addison said smiling painfully
"Lol no!" Gracie said casually.
"Yeah. Didn't think so." Will said
"Wait is Dawn still sleeping?" Kayla asked realising that one of them was missing
"Nope." Replied a voice from above Austin's bunk.
"You okay?" Asked Will
"I'm good. Just listening." She replied
"Where did the rest of us guys go?!" Austin complained
"Yan's in Summer school." Will replied plainly
"Oh crappy saxophone drums!" Austin said
They all started laughing
"W-was that supposed to be a curse?!" Dawn questioned
"Nice to see you alive again!" Addison added
Dawn rolled her eyes at her sister.
"Yeah...I'm trying not to curse. Addison said that maybe it would help if I said something else." Austin said
"No that does not help!" Will said. Will pointed at Addison, "You're fired! You need therapy!" He said
Addison sighed in relief. Then, she said something, knowing how it would go down.
"That would be nice." She said smirking
Will understood, he replied, "While we're talking let me offer you some free advice."
"Talk less." Chimed in Austin
"Smile more!" Gracie sang
"Don't let them know what you're against or what you're for!" Kayla went along
"You can't be serious." Dawn said, in a voice that sounded like she was telling the truth.
"You wanna get ahead?" Jerry sang
"Yes." Will chimed
"Fools who run their mouths off wind up dead." Addison continued
"Uh yo yo yo yo yo!" Kayla sang
"What time is it?" Austin said pointing to Addison
"SHOWTIME!" She replied singing
"Like I said." Dawn continued
"I think that's enough." Will said smirking, "For now, at least. It stopped raining, but tonight at the campfire, we jam Hamilton!"
They all cheered as they ran out to continue their daily routine.
And that night, at the campfire, Cabin 7 shined out their inner Hamiltrash!
