Bonded By Blood-Ch 24

Penelope smiled as she stood standing at the double doors watching Derek work, he looked so sexy in his Henley, the way it showed off all of his muscles was making her heart race. He looked up and saw her standing there and grinned, she blushed and he said, "liking what you see gorgeous"?, she winked at him and said, "yes, very much so angel fish, very much so" as she then started walking toward him.

She looked around and said, "where is everybody else"?, Derek said, "they're already gone, they're gone to mommas house, she's fixing a big dinner for everybody to enjoy together before you and I head out of town". Penelope said, "I still need to pack a few things", he said, "no need, momma and my sisters have already got our bags packed and ready".

Penelope said, "wowwww, they are really on the ball", Derek closed the file in front of him and said, "i hope that you're not mad about momma going to your place and packing a bag for you", she shook her head and said, "of course I'm not mad, I appreciate that". He walked closer to her and pulled her into his arms and brushed his lips against hers in a soft but oh so passionate kiss and when they pulled apart he rested his forehead against hers and said, "I can't wait to be alone with you".

Penelope said, "well I guess being alone with you for a while sounds good to me too", he laughed and said, "ohhhh you guess it sounds good huh"?, she laughed and said, "who am I kidding, I get to spend some time alone with my sexy boyfriend, of course I'm loving that idea" as she then leaned in and kissed his lips.

Derek moaned against her lips and said, "I can't tell you how much I have missed those lips of yours", she said, "how about you tell me all about it later"?, he grinned as he grabbed his coat and said, "I'll do more than tell you, I'll show you how much I've missed you and that sexy body of yours" and she grinned and said, "promises promises" as they walked to the elevator wrapped in each others arms.

The ride to the Rossi mansion didn't take long and soon they were pulling up in front of the house, Derek got out and walked around to her side and opened the door, he then held out his hand to her. She slid her hand in his as she climbed out of the truck, he brought her hand to his lips and kissed it and said "shall we sweetness"?, she said, "we shall sugar, we shall" as they then made their way toward the door.

When they got to the door they turned to see Dave and the others standing in the driveway and Dave said, "Kitten, we have a surprise for you", she said, "surprise, what kind of surprise"?, Fran grinned and said ,"the good kind" as Derek and Penelope then started making their way over to join the others.

Dave said, "here you go" as he handed her a letter and said, "this is from your brothers" and she grinned as she opened the letter, tears streamed down her face as she read the note. She wiped away the tears and said ,"ohhh they say that I have another surprise that you're suppose to show me and that they will all be coming for a visit in a few weeks".

Everybody watched as Dave walked over to the tarp that was covering something in the driveway, he said, "here's your surprise" and he pulled the tarp off and Penelope squealed, "Ester, on my goodness, it's Esterrrrrrrrr" as she ran toward her cadillac with a huge smile on her face, once she was behind the wheel Dave tossed her keys and said, "here you go kitten" as they landed in her hands.

She said, "ohhhh how I've missed you Ester" and Derek said, "I knew you would love this surprise", Penelope said, "how long have you known about this surprise"?, Derek said, "ohhhhh since before we left for our last case". Penelope said, "very sneaky Mr. Morgan" and he walked over and leaned down and kissed her gently on the lips and said, "now do you see why I wanted to wait untl later tonight to leave"?, she said, "I do".

Derek said, "and our bags are loaded in the trunk sooooooooo we'll be taking your baby with us", she said, "yesssssss, I love that idea", she then rubbed her steering wheel and said, "did you hear that girl, you're going with us on our trip". Fran said ,"alright let's get everybody inside and eat some dinner now that Penelope has seen her surprise" and Penelope climbed out of her car and intertwined their fingers and said, "lead the way angel fish, lead the way" as they followed the rest of the family inside to enjoy a delicious meal together as a family before they headed off for their much needed alone time together.
