Bonded By Love-Ch 27
Over the next several days Derek and Penelope had gone on a few long, romantic walks, had romantic picnics and sat and talked about their future, they were in love their was no doubt about that. Time passed by fast and it was their last night at the cabin and they were laying wrapped in each others arms after another passionate round of love making.
Derek kissed the top of her head and said, "I can't believe that we have to go back tomorrow", she looked up at him and said, "me either but I really loved being here with you handsome" causing him to smile as he leaned in and claimed her lips with his. When they pulled apart he said, "I had an amazing time with you too sweetness, so many things have happened since I met you and I don't regret anything and I look forward to what happens next".
Penelope said, "me too my love, me too", she sighed and he said, "I love you baby girl", she said, "and I you Derek, you are the love of my life and that's never going to change, you're it for me". He grinned at her and said, "that's good to know and I feel the same way about you, their is nobody else for me, not now not ever"
Derek rolled over for a second and pulled open the top drawer of the bedside table and pulled out something before rolling back over to face her, she looked at him and said, "is something wrong"?, he said, "no sweetness, nothing's wrong, everything is perfect". She watched as he sat up, she felt her heart racing as he put the small box in his hands and opened his mouth and readied to speak.
He said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, you are the love of my life, you are the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with, have beautiful babies with and grow old with", her heart felt like it was going to burst from her chest as he took the ring in his fingers and said, "baby girl, will you marry me"?, she said, "a a are you sure that I'm what you want"?, he said, "I'm one million percent positive, you're the woman I want, I love you with all of my heart".
Tears streamed down her face and she said, "I love you too Derek", he said, "well then will you please marry me",?, she said, "yes, yes, yes" and he smiled at her as he slid the ring onto her finger. He then reached over and grabbed his cell phone and snapped a picture of her hand and sent a group text with the heading. "SHE SAID YES".
It was only a matter of a few seconds before everybody from the team and her brothers were sending congratulations texts to the newly engaged couple causing them both to smile. Derek laid his cell down and the took her face in his hands and said, "you are so amazing, so beautiful, so sexy and all mine baby girl, all mine" as his lips descended on hers.
Penelope couldn't believe this, she was now engaged, she was going to marry Derek Morgan, the sexiest man she'd ever seen in her life, this couldn't be real, this couldn't be happening to her, it had to be a dream. She pulled away and said, "is this a dream or is this really happening"?, Derek rested his forehead against hers and said, "this is real baby girl, this is soooooo real" as his lips found hers once again.
She smiled and said, "I love you, I love you so much" he rolled her over onto her back and said, "I love you too, more and more with each passing day sweetness" as his lips once again found hers. As they started their next round of passionate lovemaking in the background the sound of their moans filled the room as they worked together to bring each other what they desired most, sweet, sweet release.
Derek and Penelope made love all night long and finally passed out from exhaustion wrapped in each others arms as the son was coming up with beautiful smiles on their faces, they slept for a few hours before packing their bags and heading back to the hustle and bustle of the city and work.
As the cabin got further and further out of sight Penelope sighed happily knowing that the best for her and Derek was waiting to come and she grinned knowing that she couldn't wait, she couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with the sexy man beside her, she wanted it all and she wanted it with Derek.
She laid her head on his shoulder and closer her eyes and it was only a matter of a few minutes before she drifted off to sleep resting on the shoulder of the man she loved with all of her heart.
