The next morning came fast with the men out in the pool house with the very nervous groom and the women were inside helping Penelope get dressed and ready for the biggest day of her life. Penelope sat nervously looking down at her hands as Emily put the finishing touches on her hair, she was still in disbelief that she was getting married to the love of her life today, it still didn't real real to her at all.
JJ looked over at her and said, "earth to Garcie, come in Garcie", Penelope looked up and said, "huh, what, oh sorry Jayje did you say something sweet pea"?, JJ laughed and said, "are you alright"?, Penelope said, "oh yeah, I'm fine, it's just that I still can't believe that this is real, that I'm actually getting married today".
Fran said, "well believe it honey because today you become my daughter-in-law and I for one couldn't be happier", Sarah said, "today I get another sister, a sister that will always love and honor my lug head of a brother". Desi laughed and said, "you are like a breath of fresh air Penelope and we love you, welcome to our family", Penelope said, "awwwww guys, thank you, thank you so much, you really know how to make a girl feel welcome".
She then looked at the smiling girls and said, "soooooo how are things going with my brothers"?, Sarah and Des looked at each other and then at Penelope and said, "uhhhhh, well" seconds before the room erupted in laughter. Meanwhile out in the pool house Derek felt someone tugging on his pants, he looked down to see Henry standing there, he said, "what's up squirt"?, Henry said, "I think you're going to need these".
Derek looked at the socks in the boys hand and said, "I thought i put those on already" and Henry laughed and shook his head and said, "nopeeeeeee you didn't uncle Derek" as he put the socks into Dereks hand and then ran back over to a smiling Spencer Reid, Derek said, "thanks pretty boy" and Reid said, "anytime Morgan, anytime".
Dave and Hotch stood in the corner laughing and Derek said, "so I forgot to put my socks on, bigggggggg deal, I'm nervous alright, alright, there, there I said it okay, I'm nervous". Payton smiled and said, "nerves are normal on your wedding day, or so I'm told, I have no personal experience in this area yet though" and Dave said, "ohhhh yes, nerves are totally normal".
Hotch said, "I remember the day that Dave married Fran, even though he had been married two times before he was well how can I say this discreetly"?, Reid said, "he forgot his vows, the man of the hour forgot the vows he spent weeks working on". Dave said, "ohhh like you're so perfect, you were going to go out to marry JJ without your pants, so back off kid" causing everybody to laugh as they tried to imagine Reid standing up in front of a lot of people without his pants.
Paul grinned and said, "it's almost time for us to go get P isn't it"?, Payton glanced down at his watch and said, "yes, yes it is", he looked at Derek and said, "are you ready to get married"?, Derek blew out a deep breath and said, "I'm sooooo ready for this, I love baby girl with all of my heart and I promise that from this day forward I'm going to show her how much I love her everyday" and Payton grinned and said "we're going to hold you to that" as the other men nodded their heads yes in agreement as they watched the brothers then walk out of the pool house and head up toward the main house to get the bride.
The women were all still laughing as they heard a knock at the door, Desi walked over and opened the door and smiled as she saw the four brothers standing there in front of her. She stepped aside and said, "Penelope you're brothers are here", she stood up and said, "how's Derek"?, Patrick laughed and said, "nervous but good, how are you"?, Penelope said, "a little nervous but I can't wait to marry Derek".
Penelope grinned as the women all hugged her and made their way toward the door, JJ and Emily stopped and turned around and JJ said, "we'll wait on you by the back door", Penelope said, "we'll be right there". Payton said, "are you ready for ths P"?, she sighed happily and said, "let's get this party started" and her brothers laughed as they all followed her out of the room and down the hall toward the stairs that led to the others and the start of her new life, her new life as Mrs. Derek Morgan.
