"This is great!" Gutsy says as the smurfs are playing and singing in the kitchen the next morning.
"How crazy is this? There are little blue people singing in our kitchen!" Grace says happily.
"So you're sticking with your this is actually happening theory?" Patrick asks.
"What else could explain it?" Alexis asks as she catches Brainy as she goes flying before he lands on her toast.
"Nice catch also sorry." Brainy says as he sees a squished the toast he landed on.
"Eh. I could do without eating bread for one morning but no problem." Alexis says as she takes the toast Brainy landed on and tosses it.
"Okay. It says here Smurfs are mythical creatures from Belgium. Also known as Schtroumpfs... Documented by Peyo." Patrick says as he looks at his laptop.
"Also says that they bring good luck. Like leprechauns to the Irish." Grace says.
"That sounds cool." Alexis says.
"It says they're mythical girls." Patrick says.
"I'm so sorry Master Winslow." Papa Smurf says as Gutsy lands on Patrick's laptop.
"That was great." Gutsy says.
"Well they look pretty real to me." Grace says happily.
"Me too." Alexis says.
"Okay to review. You guys come from a magic forest where you live in oversized mushrooms. You're being chased by an evil wizard. And you're trapped in New York until there's a blue moon... And you like to use the extremely imprecise term smurf for just about everything." Patrick says.
"Smurfxactly." Brainy says.
"And you're all named after your personalities?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Yeah." Brainy says as Alexis smiles at him.
"Wow. That's cool." Alexis says.
"Do you get your names when you're born or after you've exhibited certain traits?" Patrick asks as the smurfs agree with his statement.
"Master Winslow there must be something about the blue moon on your magic window machine." Papa Smurf says as he looks at Patrick.
"Just what is this magic searching device?" Brainy asks.
"It's called a laptop." Alexis says as she takes a drink from her cup.
"And right now I'm using Google on it." Patrick says.
"Google." The smurfs say in amazement.
"Okay. Blue moon. A full moon that occurs twice in one month. A figurative construct... Much like yourselves. But the moon itself doesn't appear to be blue." Patrick says much to the disappointment of the smurfs.
"No cause for alarm my little Smurfs. If we're to open the portal home I'll just have to smurf us a potion to invoke the blue moon." Papa Smurf says.
"You hear that girls? They're only staying till an actual blue moon rises. Which could happen if the little blue Santa man makes a magic potion which at this point, seems completely plausible." Patrick says.
"Of course the stars will need to be perfectly aligned. And when that might be is hard to determine without the proper instrument. Master Winslow might I borrow your stargazer?" Papa Smurf asks.
"My what-whatzer?" Patrick asks confusedly.
"He doesn't have a stargazer. Do you?" Gutsy asks.
"This is all my fault." Clumsy says sadly.
"We're all gonna die. We're all gonna die!" Brainy shouts fearfully.
"Smurf out of it scaredy-brains! One Panicky Smurf is enough!" Gutsy says as he goes over to Brainy.
"Besides Papa had a vision and everything turns out smurfy. Right Papa?" Smurfette asks as the smurfs look at Papa Smurf.
"Yes, yes. It all turns out just fine." Papa Smurf says as he smiles.
*Timeskip*
"What? You two had one outfit on and now you're wearing something completely different." Smurfette says as she sees Alexis and Grace walk into the room.
"Oh these old things? They're not anything that pretty looking but hey they're comfy." Alexis says.
"Yeah. It-" Grace then gets cut off by Papa Smurf.
"Now Smurfette they probably got the other ones dirty. Let's not embarrass them." Papa Smurf says.
"Sorry." Smurfette says.
"It's alright." Alexis says.
"If it means anything I think this one looks good on you too." Brainy says as Alexis smiles at him kindly.
"Oh. Well thank you Brainy." Alexis says as Brainy smiles shyly.
"Thanks for letting us stay in your mushroom Miss Grace. It's really nice." Clumsy says.
"Well thank you. I'm glad you like it. I like our little mushroom too. But you know somebody wants a bigger mushroom." Grace says as she gestures to Patrick.
"But then you'd be further apart." Smurfette says.
"You said it sister. Okay my sister and I've gotta go. I've got an appointment. I've got a baby on the way so..." Grace says.
"Wait, wait. We can't just leave them here alone without an adult." Patrick says worriedly.
"I'm 546 years old." Papa Smurf says.
"Of course you are." Patrick says.
"They'll be fine. They'll be fine." Grace says before she and Alexis leave.
