AN: Three years into the future and Bonnie comes to regret some big decisions she made in the past.

Bonnie finds herself alone in a prison world with a sociopath siphon witch who becomes obsessed with her.

Through flashbacks, we see the events that led to this point unfold.

Please heed trigger warnings because Kai is cray cray and this is where that part begins, thank you

***UPDATE I added a few extra sequences here with Kol and Bonnie's intimate convo, and Kai's proximity spell and I realized I had to change the time jump from two to three years, to have the start of it all be the year Kol was undaggered.

Also, it should be noted that I do not own these characters

Prison world of

Mystic Falls, 1994

"So you're going to be my tour guide for 2013 right?"

"What?" Bonnie did nothing to hide her contempt for Kai. Kai Parker, a sociopathic murderous teen boy that had massacred most of his own siblings in 1994, being imprisoned in an abandoned world, and doomed to live out eternity repeating the day he'd committed his heinous crimes, as a result. In addition to his being severely unhinged, he possessed a strange ability to wield powerful magic by way of siphoning magic from a witch. Every time he'd done that to Bonnie, it severely weakened her and she came to the conclusion that if Kai wanted to, he could kill her just by draining her magic. Fortune was not on her side when she ended up stuck alone in the prison world with him.

She would've rather been in any other time or place if only she could be with Kol. Or hell, even Damon. Just not stuck in 1994 in some maniac's personal hell. She glanced around and noticed a metal bat in her peripherals.

"I just think we should stick together, ya know, for moral support," Kai gave a not-so-subtle wink. "Being stuck here in 1994 might have made you a little crazypants. I would know, I'm an expert in crazy." He smirked at that last sentence.

I didn't think it was possible for anyone to talk more than Damon, Bonnie thought. If she could hear his voice then, she'd at least have a piece of home still with her. She'd never be truly home without Kol and Bonnie knew she'd never know peace without him. She could accept that since she figured fate was punishing her for letting Esther drive her apart from her literal soulmate. For his own protection, she'd told herself. A noble move, in the name of love. When it was all said and done, Bonnie didn't think she'd survive it. Correction, she knew she wouldn't and if it wasn't for Damon, she wouldn't have. Now she was wondering how she was going to survive this prison world without any of the most important men in her life.

She refrained from gloating at the fact that he wasn't going anywhere, Kai just didn't know it yet. Instead, she just rolled her eyes and let out a heavy sigh. "Let's just get this over with."

"Yeah, let's."

To Bonnie's surprise, Kai seemed to wipe his usual smirk off as he brandished a peculiar object known as the ascendant and held it up for Bonnie to grab. When she took hold of the ascendant, her fingers brushed against Kai's. She quickly repositioned her limbs so that each witch was touching the ascendant but not one another. If he noticed this, he gave no indication as he committed ardent focus to the ascendant in their hands. Bonnie began chanting.

After a few minutes, nothing happened. She frowned and restarted the spell. When nothing still happened she fell silent and looked at Kai who grew impatient.

"Keep going Bonnie, you were just doing it!" He demanded.

"I can't Kai, it's not working." She looked confused. "That's so strange.."

A dark expression crossed Kai's face and he let go of the ascendant to grab her wrist with both hands, but he didn't siphon her. Bonnie's breath hitched softly, as she strived to show little fear. Kai's voice was eerily calm, despite the look in his eyes. "You wouldn't be holding out on me, would you, Bonster?"

"You're hurting me, Kai." She let out a soft groan, her jade eyes blazing with a glare.

"What did you do?" He demanded.

"Let me go so we can figure out what the hell is going on and why the spell isn't working!" She hissed.

"Sure thing," his eyes sparkled something evil as he released his grip so suddenly that Bonnie fell to the ground, dropping the ascendant which morphed into a coke can as it hit the floor.

Kai's eyes nearly jumped from his sockets at the realization. He knelt down just staring at what should have been where what should have been his ticket to freedom, the ascendant, lay. " Well, I'll be damned, Bonnie Bennett. You've been fucking with me this whole time."

Bonnie knew she had a meager amount of time before Kai unleashed his psycho on her. With a silent spell, she summoned the metal bat to her hands as she stood up.

"Yes, you will!" She screamed as Kai looked up just in time to see a flash of metal come crashing down on his left ear. He reached out his hand as he stumbled fully to the floor and Bonnie brought the bat down a few more times on his head. Kai's body jerked a few times before he became still. This was the second time she'd killed him in two days. Not that she was keeping score but if anyone deserved it, it was the family massacring sociopath. Still, she knew she had to move quickly. This was his hell and he would always reanimate. If he found her when he was alive again, Bonnie was certain he would kill her, and she didn't know where her latest death would lead her.

She grabbed Miss Cuddles and her bag and hurried back to the Salvatore crypt to wait it out. She knew the Salvatore boarding house would be the first place he would look for her when he came to. She was counting on that so Kai would walk into her magical trap.

Mystic Falls 2010

Their first official date was nothing short of magical. Bonnie couldn't stop swooning when Kol escorted her home, and that was probably because Kol couldn't stop kissing her. He told her it was because now that they were official, he didn't want to let her go.

"I should go inside," Bonnie whispered against his lips.

"I don't like the sound of that. The last time you kissed me like this, you declined to see me for two whole agonizing days. When I say agony, I mean-"

"Agony of the worst kind, you already told me," she released a soft laugh against his lips and gave him a quick peck. "I'm not going to hide from you anymore."

Kol leaned back and searched her face. "Is that a promise?"

"Yes,"

"Very well then," Kol said, pleased. "I shall hold you to your word. Kiss me again," he prompted, teasing the corner of her mouth with his tongue. Bonnie pulled back and held her finger to his lips while Kol pouted at the loss of proximity to her face.

"One more kiss,"

"Two more," before she could utter another word he'd reclaimed her lips. He worked his tongue around, making sure to explore every inch of her mouth while his hands caressed her hips until he had her sighing with desire as he pressed her against the outer wall of her home.

The door opened, prompting Bonnie's eyes to snap open while Kol didn't seem to notice, being so caught up in Bonnie's kiss. Abby stood in the doorway. Embarrassed, Bonnie broke contact and pulled away, to Kol's discontentment.

"Why," he sighed. Then he noticed Abby, which visibly annoyed him even further.

"Bonnie, it's getting late. You should say goodnight." She said flatly.

"Right, sorry." Bonnie looked at Kol with all the excitement of a giddy schoolgirl, who was crushing hard. "Thank you for a wonderful evening. Goodnight, Kol,"

"It was my pleasure, sweetness," Kol moved to kiss Bonnie again, grabbing Bonnie's hand…

"Good night, Kol!"

… but stopped midway due to Abby's impatience. Mother and boyfriend exchanged glares.

"I shall go then. Thank you for accompanying me this eve, darling." Kol kissed Bonnie's hand, letting his lips linger for a moment before he zipped away at vampire speed. Bonnie's hand lingered in the air.

"Put your damn hand down, girl. You look like a lovesick fool. And get in here and tell me all about your date!"

Bonnie squealed and stepped inside, shutting the door. "Well, there's not much to tell, besides we've officially cemented our relationship! Wait, why did you just rush him off?"

"Bonnie, don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you, baby. But the guy was standing here on my porch, sucking my daughter's face off, getting carried away. I had to,"

Utterly embarrassed on the outside, Bonnie tried to deflect. Inwardly, she thought Abby's motherly concern was badass. Like a piece of her that had been missing all her life was finally intact. "Abby, this is no longer your house. Dad's-"

"Not here baby girl, so that means I'm responsible for you." Abby stroked her cheek. "I just want you to be careful and remember who you're dealing with before you get to the point of no return."

Bonnie didn't have the heart to tell her that point had been breached. "He won't hurt me," she assured her mother.

"Not physically, no," Abby said, grabbing her hands. "But once you take that step, it changes everything. Kissing him like that-"

Bonnie pulled her hands away. "Oh my God, Mom, please not the sex talk. We're nowhere ready for that and Kol knows it. We talked about it the other day."

Two nights prior

After Bonnie wasted Esther, Kol planted a huge one on her and just moments later, she was in his bedroom at the mansion with him lowering her to his bed. Naturally, she freaked, worried they'd go too far.

"Kol, no," she pressed a hand against his chest as he kissed down her neck.

"You have single-handedly saved the lives of my siblings and I despite the fact that I have greatly upset you, judging how just moments ago you would not even face me. I only mean to show you my gratitude, love. As well as express remorse for my harsh truth earlier. My delivery was uncalled for."

"You're a firecracker, aren't you?" She whispered, running her fingers through his hair.

"Quite explosive, my dear. But, I cannot remain cross with you, darling. I know there are things about me you don't yet understand."

Bonnie narrowed her eyes. "That's more reasonable than you've ever led me to believe you're capable of."

"I wasn't lying when I said you bring me peace. When you nearly perished from opening the portal, I worried I'd never know peace again, having just had but a moment of it after a thousand years. All I want is you, I'll go mad if I can't have you. I swear it," Kol declared, pressing himself into Bonnie. "Why are you tormenting us both? I know you want it too. You've told me all about your erotic fantasies that got you hot," he whispered in her ear, emphasizing the T in hot. As he spoke he began to grind his lower half into her and Bonnie felt moisture ruining her underwear. "Does that feel good?"

How clever of him to wait until that opportune moment to bring up Bonnie's intoxicated confessions, she mused internally. Indeed, Kol was a sly fox who knew how to manipulate situations to his advantage when needed. However, in Bonnie's eyes, this was not needed. She had no intentions of being deflowered in Klaus's home of all places and she was sure that after their public display of affection, everyone believed that's exactly what they were doing at the moment. Clearly, Kol didn't care but Bonnie didn't want her first time being everyone's business. It ruined the intimacy of the moment.

"You would use that against me," she shook her head and pushed him off of her, sitting up. "What happened to-" she mocked a deep voice and an English accent. " -I can wait, love, I want to protect your virtue ?"

" I don't want to wait, I want you now, Kol ." He smiled triumphantly after he mocked Bonnie with his own impression of her, and her perceived petulance.

"I didn't say that !"

"Body language, love. You proceeded to straddle me twice, once in your darling cheeky knickers. Do you have any more like that?" Kol pulled on the flap of her jeans and saw a thin, single strap wrapping around her waist. It was her G-string. Kol's eyes lit up as Bonnie blushed profusely. He hooked his finger around it. "Oh, I like this one better! Less is certainly more,"

Bonnie slapped his hand away. "Kol! I'm serious. It's a big step and I don't want to complicate things between us. I don't want this to be purely physical." She lowered her eyes and mumbled something inaudible even for a vampire.

"What was that, love?"

"My friends have told me it hurts. For the first few months."

"It will if you aren't properly prepared and your body isn't relaxed."

"Relaxed?! Yeah, right. Rebekah says you're only hanging out with me until we have sex."

Kol sighed. "Are you really just going to keep coming up with reasons to refuse me? Why would you even listen to her? She falls madly in love with any man who gives her attention, then sleeps around when her heart gets broken. If anything, she envies the fact she doesn't have a man to dote on her the way I do you."

"It's not just her. Esther told me the same thing," Bonnie gulped, somehow finding the courage to speak her mind through her growing frustration of the nagging fear that Kol targeted her for one reason. "That you do it to everyone, you just want to take my innocence and probably kill me."

"And she paid for those asinine comments with her life. How is it you don't understand by now that I will never hurt you? If sex with you was all I wanted, there have been multiple opportunities for that. I could have done that the night we met or the night you invited me into your home with or without creating the blood bond. What about the day you consumed cannabis and couldn't keep your hands off of me? I could have healed you with my blood, taken yours, and there would have been no hope in preventing our union."

Bonnie lowered her eyes as she blushed.

"In each case, it would have been spectacular! I've waited and wanted for no one, ever. Only you." Feeling his sincerity gave birth to perplexing emotions within Bonnie. It was all very romantic, intimidating, and excruciating at the same time. "And it torments me so, my resolve nearly crumbled the day I thought I might lose you. If you were anyone else, we would have gotten to it by now. Understand I am trying Bonnie, but it has never been easy for me. Do you remember the last vision we shared?"

"You couldn't kiss me or even come near me without being in some sort of spell-induced agony." Bonnie shuddered remembering that.

"Precisely. Sweetheart, I would go insane if that were to happen," he smoothed her hair away from her face.

"I don't think we have to worry about that now that Esther's gone."

"I pity the fool who would try anything of the sort. May whatever god they believe in have mercy on their soul, because I would not," he murmured with such conviction, it nearly frightened Bonnie.

"Don't talk like that, Kol." Bonnie gazed into his eyes with an imploring emerald stare as she whispered, "Are you sure that's not all you want from me?"

"You haven't had much romance in your life, have you?" He let out a soft chuckle and sighed.

"What's that got to do with anything?"

"Bonnie, my beauty. I want everything from you," Looking pained, Kol heaved a deep breath and pulled Bonnie into his lap, wrapping her legs around his waist. He just held her there, resting his head against her chest, likely listening to her heartbeat, which had begun to relax into more a steady rhythm. It felt so right, so blissful, and dare she say wholesome? It seemed the lust monster had taken a back seat in order to grant serenity to the notion that she was being objectified. It was the very apparatus needed to put her mind at ease. "I don't want you to ever think I would treat you that way, but I will not hesitate if you ever..."

"I just need time, Kol," Bonnie rested her head on his shoulders and closed her eyes.

"For you, darling, I'd wait a thousand excruciatingly dreadful years," he said into her bosom.

There was something in the way Kol spoke those words and the emotions she felt coming from him that told her he wasn't being dramatic at all, but dead serious.

"I feel like we've come to an understanding," Bonnie assured Abby, who clamped her hands over her mouth. "What's this?"

"You're practically all grown up," Abby whispered.

"Oh, Abby," Bonnie laughed and hugged her. "I'm just glad you're here and you care." Abby previously had appeared so apathetic and devoid of emotion. Bonnie knew being a vampire only heightened the emotions you already have so Abby displaying the motherly concern was already part of her psyche. She figured in Abby's human life, her lack of warmth was due to her guilt over missing so much time, thinking Bonnie hated her. Now as a vampire, her love for her daughter was unmasked. For the first time since she could remember, Bonnie actually had a mom.

Prison world

Mystic Falls 1994

Realizing she must have fallen asleep waiting for Kai to come to, Bonnie woke up suddenly to see that it was dark, but not as dark as she imagined it would be in the Salvatore crypt. It was softer too than the hard floor she'd collapsed on. Something wasn't right. She used her hands to prop herself up and felt pillows.

"Oh no..." She cried out in a small voice as she realized she was on the bed in her room at the boarding house. Kai must have found her asleep in the crypt and brought her back here. What about her magical trap? She ran to the bedroom door and threw it open. She shrank back in horror when Kai was standing there. He had a devilish grin on his face as he took a step forward.

"Miss me, Bonster?"

She was then flung backward with his magic, landing on the bed as he advanced. She immediately sat up and vowed to show no fear, lifting her chin up defiantly. "Of course not. But since getting rid of you didn't work, I'd say we're even. You shot me with an arrow and tried to leave me here and I've tried to get rid of you in return."

"You're trying to get even?" Kai laughed hysterically. "Sooo dramatic, Bonnie. Besides, we're not close to even. I'm really hurt. You betrayed me when we were supposed to get out of here together. You stole the ascendant, bashed my head in, tried to abandon me for that dickhead Damon. You know he doesn't actually care about you, right? The dickhead moves faster than lightning and yet he couldn't grab you in time to warp you both out of here? Are you really buying that?"

"Mind your own damn business, Kai. And don't act like you care about me, you're a sociopath. You don't even HAVE feelings for me to hurt!" Bonnie snapped.

"Right. Well, let's just say the feelings that I would have. But," he sighed. "I'm willing to let all that go. For now. Just tell me where the ascendant is and we'll call a temporary truce."

Now it was Bonnie's turn to laugh. "I don't have it, Kai! We'll have to scour this huge empty world for centuries! I spelled it to smithereens. The ascendant is divided up into hundreds all over the globe, it will take us a lifetime to find all the pieces! Inuyasha couldn't even help us."

"Who?"

"Forget it," Bonnie raked her fingers through her hair.

"Right, well you did a spell to trap me in this house, obviously forgetting I can siphon that magic right up. I'd say that's one for Kai and zero for brave little Bonbon. Brave little Bonbon, who's now all alone with the Big Bad Siphon..." He gave her a heated gaze. Bonnie suspected it was his bloodlust, he was imagining all the awful things he planned on doing to her in retribution for her deceitful ways.

Damn! So much for her magical trap. She tried another approach. "If you can suck magic up, why haven't you tried siphoning the magic that keeps you here? Because there's no way we're going to find the ascendant!"

By now Kai had reached the edge of her bed but Kai kept moving towards her, dark expression blazing in his eyes and she fell backward onto the bed with Kai climbing on top of her, holding her arms down, stopping only inches away from her face to shout at her.

"DON'T YOU THINK I'VE TRIED THAT? EIGHTEEN YEARS, BONNIE! And I don't believe you. You wouldn't want to be stuck here with me any longer than necessary!"

"Get off me!" Kai held her arms on the side of her head and she struggled to push him off but he was stronger than her and could siphon her at any point, which he was quick to remind her of.

"I haven't siphoned you, Bonnie, haven't you noticed?"

She only glowered at him in response.

"If I siphon you now, you could die. Your betrayal has me feeling a little homicidal. But," he contemplated. "if you really smashed the ascendant then you're truly stuck here with me." His breath was on her face and he looked at her lips, then licked his own, before sliding his tongue up the side of her cheek. "And you're going to help me find all the pieces of the ascendant if it takes five hundred years. Ahhh, shit!"

Kai's lick to Bonnie's face during his speech enraged her so much she did a silent offensive spell which made her skin hot as flames to touch, making him exclaim expletives as he jumped back and off the bed.

Bonnie swallowed hard and glared at him. "You'll have to just kill me, Kai. I meant what I said, there's no way I'm letting you out of here, even if it kills me. Even if it's the last thing I ever do."

Kai's face darkened for a flash, then he smirked again.

"Oh my, brave little self-sacrificing badass witch. You're so hot when you bite off more than you can chew. Get it?" He chuckled at his pun. When Bonnie only hardened her glare, he stifled his laughter and continued. "You seem tired. I'm gonna give you a night to sleep on it and we'll start our scavenger hunt in the morning."

She shook her head & softly but firmly told him no. From where Kai was standing, he mimicked gestures and magically stroked her hair gently. After a few seconds he grabbed the back of her hair and pulled her face up to his eye level with Bonnie stumbling up out of the bed to keep up with the force. He made sure to keep her at a distance so as not to make contact with her fiery skin again.

"You don't actually have a choice Bonster, so just work with me. C'mon it'll be fun! Just you and me, traveling all over the world. Kinda romantic if you think about it." She looked mortified. "And if you're feeling raw about releasing me into the world, I can always kill you once we're out. That way you don't have to live with the guilt of the fact that you unleashed a monster."

Bonnie remained silent, her hair still in his magical grip. Tears were welling up in the corners of her eyes with the pain but they didn't fall.

"But if I do end up having to kill you, what a waste of a perfectly good witch that would be. Don't you think? Wasteful?" Kai said.

A reminder of how absolutely fucking unhinged Kai truly was enough to cause a silent tear to fall.

Kai let out a whistle, releasing Bonnie from his magical grip. "Ahh well. That was a pretty intimate moment we just had, Bon. Now I'm hungry. What should we have for dinner?"

"I'd rather die, thanks." She mumbled, straightening her spine. She realized her skin spell had worn off and attempted another spell but found her magic depleted. Kai had likely siphoned her lightly while she slept. Fuck! That licking bit earlier had creeped her out significantly and she didn't want Kai touching her, ever. Of all the horrible things he was capable of, Bonnie prayed that forcing himself on a woman wasn't included. She also hoped he didn't notice the spell was gone.

"Bonnie, I told you we can arrange that later." He snapped his fingers. "Hey, you want pancakes?" Her stomach growled and the thought of Damon and his stupid daily pancakes made her long for as close to a piece of home as he could get, wishing it was him who was annoying the hell out of her.

Bonnie headed towards the bathroom, grabbing a change of clothes on the way. "I need to shower and I'll make my own dinner. I want to be alone. If I have to spend the next 500 years with you, I'll need my space sometimes."

Kai was saying something but she didn't listen as she strolled into the bathroom. Bonnie didn't really care what he had to say. She'd had enough of the torment that was him for the day. She turned the water on and stripped her clothes off. After a scalding hot shower that did nothing to wash recent events away, she emerged from the shower. She wiped the steam off the mirror to gaze at her reflection, releasing an aggravated scream upon realizing Kai stood behind her in the mirror. He was taking in her bare naked body with something dark and lustful in his eyes. She grabbed a towel and hugged it in front of her. "Get the hell out!" She screamed, wrapping it around her form. "How long have you been watching me?"

"For months," the horror of realization washed over Bonnie. Kai sucked in his breath and murmured. "Bonnie, think of the water we could've saved if only we'd showered together..."

"Fuck you!" She tried to throw a spell at him but she was too weak, from her earlier siphoning. Instead, he snapped his fingers and she was dragged towards him on her tiptoes. She nearly slammed into his hard body but he steadied her, gripping her arms gently but firmly as well, noticeably delighted when he realized her skin spell wore off.

"Yes, that's the idea, Bonnie. I'm going to fuck you, " He said as if it were obvious.

"Kai, no…" She began. This was going left fast. How the fuck is this my life right now?

"Why not? Don't be shy, Bonster! It's just us here," he whispered in her ear when she didn't respond. Bonnie didn't expect he'd realize what a stupid fucking question that was.

He kept talking, trying to pry any answer out of Bonnie.

"What better way to pass the time? Plus, you owe me for your deception earlier." He twirled a strand of Bonnie's hair around his finger.

"What's your favorite position? I've always loved-"

"None!" Bonnie hissed.

"Oh come on, now. Don't tell me you're one of those girls who acts like she doesn't like sex. You look like you know how to take a dick. That's a compliment Bon.."

This isn't happening, she told herself.

She tuned him out for a moment while he went on to describe the things he wanted to do to her and she pressed her fingers into her eyes, rubbing vigorously. He was disgusting and he wanted to violate her anatomy claiming that she owed him? And that mouth! Oh my God the mouth on this guy! Bonnie let out a frustrated yell once she'd had enough.

"Ughhh! Just SHUT UP already! I'm not going to pay you in sex! I don't owe you for trying to keep the world safe from you!"

There was heat and something dark in Kai's blue-gray eyes when he spoke, like a new personality had taken over as he gripped her shoulders and gave her a bit of shake.

"Don't you get it? You did this Bonnie. You destroyed the ascendant, trapping yourself here with me. All your self-sacrificing, and you'll only suffer for it. Did you think I would let this go?"

"What did you think would happen Kai? That I would just let you out so you go on a violent revenge mission?"

"I thought you'd be smart enough to know you shouldn't cross a person who can drain the life out of them. We could've been allies. Now, I'm just going to do whatever I want to you. And just to make sure you never get too far from me, I did a little spell. Think of it as a reverse straining order." He winked as Bonnie shuddered. "You won't ever get too far from me. I'll always be five hundred feet away, unless you wanna…" Kai held out a hand, casting a silent spell to hold Bonnie in place as he stepped away. He left the room and moments later, Bonnie felt an excruciating pulling sensation in her gut. She needed to go to him or she feared she would be magically disemboweled.

She screamed in agony. "Kai please, stop this!"

"What's that? You want me to come closer?"

"PLEASE!"

"Ehhh. Maybe if you ask me nicely, Bon,"

Oh God, this is the end! She felt like she was dying, the pain was so great. She let out a bloodcurdling scream when suddenly the pain was gone. Kai blinked into view right next to her.

"So as long as we're here-and from what you said it's gonna be a long time- you belong to me. I've decided, Bonnie Bennett." At the tail end of his sentence, Kai swiftly removed his shirt, revealing a very toned and muscular torso.

Gasping as she caught her breath, Bonnie watched Kai's eyes, cold and calculating as he spoke his next sentence in a low growl, stepping closer. "You. Are. Mine. "

Nearly three years ago Bonnie had heard those exact same words from Kol but she wasn't at as much of a disadvantage as she was now. With Kol it was never about possession, he meant for Bonnie to take her place as his mate. She wished with all her heart that she had been ready at the time, maybe things would have turned out differently and she wouldn't have ended up in the prison world, at least not without Kol. She wouldn't be here, about to have one of the most important experiences in a girl's life forced out of her by a sociopath who kept tormenting her.

Yet here she was. Bonnie had never in her life felt so vulnerable and overwhelmed, stark naked save for the towel between them and at a disadvantage because of her stolen magic and arrow wound. And to find out she was spelled to stay close, or experience the kind of maddening pain that made her want to end it all, just for relief. All she ever did was try to protect her friends from evil, and Grams told her she would be at peace. Where the hell was the proof of that promise?

She was saying silent prayers that this wouldn't happen, this couldn't happen. This hadn't even happened with her consent yet. Bonnie had always intended to save herself for Kol. God, how she wished the love of her entire existence was there now to deliver Kai a swift but finite death. But knowing Kol, he'd take his sweet time & torture him until he welcomed death. Even Damon, he would make sure Kai met his end for all the ways Kai attempted to hurt Bonnie.

It was a small comfort that he would pay for anything harm he'd cause unto Bonnie, though she didn't want the men in her life to know what she'd experienced at the hands of Kai. She'd rather take him out on her own, she didn't want Kol or Damon going postal for not being able to rectify this injustice. Even so, at that moment she was alone & defenseless to his desires. Unsure of what to do to stop this, tears welled up in her eyes as Kai inhaled the scent of her fear and apprehension, sniffing all around her neck, intoxicated by the scent of her fear. Should I cry? Guys hate it when girls cry.

"You smell so good." Kai's hands traveled down on either side of her. She stiffened and ordered her body not to tremble.

"Ohh-kay, Kai, I think you're a little high from sucking up too much magic or something," desperately trying to speak with an even voice. She wiped her tears that slowly slid from her kids and forced out a small laugh. "And you should know I have a vampire boyfriend. He won't just kill you if you do anything unwelcome to me, he'll make you wish you were dead long before he ever finishes you off."

She expected Kai to come back with some joke about he'd welcome such torture because he's Kai but his dark gaze never eased in intensity. His voice was low and husky when he spoke. "Sorry sweetie, but Damon is gone. You should accept the fact that you'll never see anyone you know or love again. It's easier to just let go,"

Bonnie said nothing, realizing she couldn't speak of Kol, she needed Kai to think Damon was the man in her life. She didn't know how crazy it would make Kai to know another more powerful vampire was her love. He already appeared to be crazy jealous of Damon.

Bonnie scoffed. "I'm getting dressed." She tried to shake him off but he held her firmly in place with his iron grip.

"I honestly want you, Bonbon. I have ever since I first found you in my personal hell. I know I come off a little crazy but trust me when I say that only makes me a great fuck." He kissed her neck and cupped her breasts, grimacing when she flinched at his touch.

Her tears began to fall bounteously at his confession and declaration. Just when Bonnie thought he couldn't get any crazier, now he was obsessing.

"Oh god, no Kai. Let me go, I don't want this."

He rolled his eyes. "Maybe we should take this to the bedroom." He said as if he didn't hear her and turned to lead her back to her bedroom, putting his hands on the small of her waist to gently prod her.

"Please Kai..I'm- I, I'll help you find the ascendant Kai, just don't do this, PLEASE!" At this point, begging and bargaining was a last resort to protect her virtue.

Kai's eyes widened in surprise as a revelation hit him. In an instant, his expression went dark & lusty again. "You mean you've never done this before?" He tsk-tsked and pulled her back into the room as she gritted her teeth.

Bonnie remained silent.

"You're a virgin, aren't you?! My little virgin sacrifice," He grabbed her waist, pressing her against his hardness, and thrusted against her core. He released a throaty groan. "God, I'm going to make such a fucking mess out of you! Mmm!"

God, he made her sick. Bonnie wanted to vomit on his smug face, preferably, in hopes that she'd disgust him as much as he disgusted her.

"Wait, wait, wait, I have the ascendant Kai," she tried quickly with a tear-streaked face.

"You're bluffing." He stopped his ministrations to grip her arms tightly and searched her face.

"I'm not, I'll get us out!" She nodded and gave what she hoped was a hopeful smile. "But on one condition.."

He sneered at her. "Let me guess, I'm not allowed to touch you? After you lied to me, Bonnie, why should I trust you? Besides, where," he slowly said. "Is the fun in that? And where is the ascendant?"

"I can't... tell you.." He tightened his grip on her arm and she let out a soft moan. "I'm not telling you Kai, I'll die before I tell you or let you defile my body. But I'll get us out tomorrow and when the playing field is level, we can have a fair fight. Unless you're afraid you can't handle me at my best."

Bonnie wasn't speaking quickly so her proposal didn't sound like she was thinking quickly on her toes in order to escape the current situation. Kai hummed a beat considering the challenge and dragging his eyes down her still towel clad form. "I'm at your mercy here & if you try this I won't ever forgive you or respect you and you're only chance at escaping dies with me. PLEASE.."

"Yes, you are.." Bonnie thought she saw his face soften for just a second before it flashed dark again.

"I don't know if I can trust you, Bon,"

An exasperated laugh escaped her. "You don't have a choice Kai, you can either work with me or you can kill me and be stuck here. Alone, again. Forever!"

Heat washed over Kai and he breathed a low growl before scooping Bonnie up and carrying her back into the bedroom. He dropped her onto the bed and she scrambled to keep the towel in place.

"You know what I think, Bonnie Boo?" He yelled mockingly. He climbed on top of her, catching her flailing hands and pressing them down on either side of her face, spelling them down so they stilled.

"I think you're full of shit, and you're out of tricks. Now relax and you might even enjoy this. I'm gonna make your first time extra special. And a little nasty." He bit down on her ear until he heard her moan in pain and began trailing soft kisses down the side of her neck.

Kai's POV

Bonnie squeezed her eyes shut and began mumbling something incoherent. Kai smirked as she said her prayers, praying for a miracle to stop this psycho. As if there was someone who could stop him. There was no one in the world who could stop him from getting what he'd been craving ever since he realized he was no longer alone in the prison world. No more Damon to keep him from his bliss that was Bonnie Bennett. Her power, her essence, even her body were all his for the taking.

His trail of kisses reached just below her belly when he felt something. What was left of Bonnie's magic began pouring into his lips. It was intoxicating as he was being imbued with the powerful Bennett magic, that he began to siphon in order to speed up the process until it clicked. She was reverse siphoning! Giving up her magic to him and in turn her life force as well. He jerked away, breaking contact.

"Bonnie, NO!"

"I will die be-before I let you..and you'll ne-never find it." A small giggle escaped her at that, then her voice trailed off and she succumbed to the exhaustion taking hold.

Ok, so she wasn't full of shit. He began a healing spell.

Mystic Falls 2010

Kol and Bonnie's POV

Practicing expression magic with Abby teaching her and Kol observing was euphoric for Bonnie. She impressed them both with how well she took to her tutelage and took control of her powers. Now that she had replenished and was practicing the proper steps to use expression, she was ready to try a locator spell, using only the energy and intentions of expression, since the cure was derived of expression magic.

Standing in the epicenter of the expression triangle enabled Bonnie to harness the magic of all three sacrifices with coaching from Abby.

"Focus in on the cure and where it is," she directed. Bonnie closed her eyes and focused, drawing her hands up. As she did a cloud of white smoke began to form in a sphere, as if she'd created a crystal ball with no barrier. The change in the atmosphere caused everyone present's hair to sway in the wind.

Bonnie opened her eyes and her normally green eyes were clouds of gray smoke. As expected, when she focused in on the cure, Matt came into view of the sphere and her cloudy eyes. "Matt,"

The sight of Bonnie with her long tresses flowing in the wind and her eyes exuding so much power in her tiny frame wrought forth an unexpected reaction in Kol when his fangs slipped out in an aroused exhalation. Odd, he thought. Typically when vampires were aroused, veins began to swarm on their faces before the fangs dropped.

"Show me where you are," Bonnie called out to the essence of the cure. The images in both the clouds in her eyes and the cloud sphere before her panned out to display a view of a crowded street.

"Bourbon Street," Kol discerned.

"Ok, Bonnie, you found it. Now you're going to release the magic of this spell by resetting your intentions." Abby gave her instructions calmly as this was a delicate situation. Bonnie had the power to wield very powerful magic but needed to approach it in a safe place and way. Her mentor remaining calm was imperative to the process. "You want your mind clear of him."

As Bonnie came down from the spell she closed her eyes. When she opened them, having reset her intentions and released the spell, her eyes were back to green. Seeing his girl's beautiful verdant gaze again made Kol hiss as he dug his fang into his lip.

"Looks like we're going to Nola, witchy." Damon appeared out of nowhere, spinning his car keys around his finger. He looked straight at Bonnie, ignoring Kol's glare.

"What do you mean, we?" Bonnie queried.

Abby looked between Kol and Damon before she flashed in front of Bonnie, startling her.

"Oh!"

"Sorry, I just wanted to say you did great," Abby said, squeezing her hands.

"Thank you, and I'm sorry, I don't know if I'll ever get used to that," Bonnie replied with a sheepish grin.

"I'll be back, ok?" Abby flashed away before Bonnie answered.

"I mean me and you. We're taking a road trip." Damon said, pulling Bonnie's attention.

"Clearly you're delusional, mate. Does the hunter's curse still trouble you?" Kol asked with a smirk.

"Kol, I've got this," Bonnie insisted. She turned to Damon. "Damon, Kol and I can go. Or Stefan and Elena. Caroline and Tyler can-"

"I know where he is and why he's there. Besides, you wanna save your crazy boyfriend don't you? Take him and you'll be delivering him into the cold hands of death, also known as Mama Original."

"I don't run from a fight," Kol stated haughtily. That Salvatore thought he could take his girl out of town irked him to no end. "If anyone is taking my girl anywhere, it will be me."

"You knew where he was this whole time? Why didn't you say anything?"

"Think of your boyfriend, Witchy," Damon said as he walked away, clapping Kol's shoulders.

"Touch me again and I'll tear each of your limbs off, mate," Kol promised with a most charming smile.

Damon scoffed and looked at Bonnie. "I'll pick you up in an hour," he said before he flashed away.

"See, that I'm used to," Bonnie gestured with her hands toward the space Damon had just occupied.

A flash of light lit up the side of Bonnie's face before she blinked and looked to Kol who was snapping photos with his phone. She smiled and posed for a few more before she asked to see them.

"Beautiful," he murmured as Bonnie reached for his phone. He held it aside, just out of her reach. "You aren't seriously going with him,"

Bonnie narrowed her eyes and cocked her head. She then pulled something out of her pocket and to Kol's shock and amazement it was his phone. His eyes shot to his hand to reveal that indeed, his phone was gone.

Scrolling through the photos, Bonnie picked the one she liked best and sent it to her own phone.

"Impressive, little witch,"

"You don't think I can handle myself?" She inquired with a raised brow.

"It would be foolish to go unprotected is what I think," he countered.

She handed him his phone and pulled his hand as she began walking. "I don't think I have a choice, Kol. Esther's body missing could mean she's been resurrected again."

Bonnie referred to the fact that Elena and the rest of the crew witnessed Esther's body being sucked into the ground, right after Kol whisked her away to his quarters in Klaus's mansion. The corpse just sank and when Klaus and Stefan tried to dig it up, nothing was there. Foul play on Esther's, Finn's, and the ancestors' behalf was suspected.

"I think Esther was here to take us by surprise because she has a weapon, and was planning on using it."

"The only thing that can kill us is a stake made out of white oak, and there are no more of those in existence. My mother needs all of our blood to complete her virulent mission."

"Exactly! You're the only one whose blood she doesn't have. What if she finds some way to kill you individually? Then she can link your brothers and your sister and before you know it, you're all dead and my first relationship is a new world record for thee shortest relationship in existence." Bonnie sighed, dramatically.

"The ultimate tragedy. How will you ever recover from the scandal? The embarrassment shall haunt you for centuries to come,"

They'd reached Bonnie's car and Bonnie reached for the driver's side door but Kol pulled her back against his chest as he leaned against the car. He inhaled deeply as he pressed his nose into her hair. Her succulent aroma was intoxicating.

"I won't allow anything to happen to you, love. Allow me to accompany you,"

Bonnie just rested her head against his chest and said nothing. She felt a wave of nausea coming and shifted uncomfortably.

"What's the matter, love?"

She sighed. It was no use, Kol could always feel her magic as it always had a way of reaching towards the magic that powers his vampirism. Bonnie could put up a front all she pleased but her magic would not betray Kol and they both knew it.

"I'm just tired, let's go." she pulled out of his embrace and opened the car door. Internally annoyed that Bonnie wasn't being forthcoming, Kol grabbed her and zipped her to the other side.

"Then perhaps, I should drive,"

Bonnie nodded as she leaned over, resting her head against the window. The feeling was stronger now. Kol took the driver's seat and gripped the steering wheel.

"Bonnie, whatever you're planning don't do it, love. It's a bad idea,"

"I have to keep you safe," she said softly. She took his hand and pressed her fingers to his knuckles before she leaned over and captured his mouth in a light kiss. Taking the bait, Kol deepened the kiss before he pulled back slightly, in a haze. He blinked, struggling to focus.

"What have you done?"

"I'm sorry," she whispered as his eyes rolled close and he slumped in his seat. She pulled out her phone and called Rebekah. "I need a favor,"

Bonnie and Damon's POV

This is a bad idea, Bonnie thought as she pulled open the door of Damon's Camaro.

"I know what you're thinking, and you're wrong. This isn't a bad idea, this is what's necessary."

"Don't do that, it's creepy," Bonnie said with an eyeroll, admitting that's exactly what she was thinking.

Damon scowled at her but fixed his gaze on her uptight ass as she leaned over to toss her duffel bag in the backseat. He noticed how her jean shorts were just the perfect length to elongate her toned legs. Must be those cheerleading muscles, he smirked.

"Well if your boyfriend doesn't kill us when we get back, we can tell him all about how we saved him from his crazy momma, who by the way, probably passed on her psychopathic genes to him, but I digress."

"You mean if he doesn't kill you,"

"Like I said, psychotic. Come on, we're saving the vampire world as we know it! And your love life. Never pegged you as the type that likes bad boys."

Yes, Kol was pretty crazy, no one would quit fucking reminding her. But he wasn't with Bonnie, she was the calm to the storm that was him. Although it used to unnerve her, she was growing content that while Kol may indeed be among the craziest, impulsive persons she's met, he adored her so much it tamed him. There was still a lot of ground to cover but he hadn't gone on many killing sprees lately and she took pride in his progress on ceasing to cause unnecessary bloodshed.

"Shut up, Damon," Bonnie scoffed as she settled in the passenger seat. Damon revved the engine and put it into drive. "Tell me what's going on,"

"So now you wanna hear what I have to say?"

"Damon!"

"No that's good, I'm glad you're finally ready to listen, BonBon. Because I've got a lot to say,"

Ten hours stuck in a car with Damon Salvatore, of all people isn't how Bonnie intended to spend her weekend but sacrifices needed to be made.

AN: This is also the beginning of Bamon as besties ;)

It's sort of following canon with the prison world but it's also a very different interpretation on how the prison world collapsed, please see vampire diaries season 6 if you'd like to know how it goes down in the show.

Also, I may be taking a writing hiatus to focus on some other projects I have going on. If you don't want me to stop yet, clap three times!

As always, if there are any errors in continuity or grammatical errors, I will hunt them down post-posting and correct them as I see them.
