Five years passed in the blink of an eye. Astra and Aithne were now ten which meant they had finally reached the age of seeing what magical powers they had. Astra already knew what they were but she couldn't tell anyone that she already knew.
Astra had spent the last four years becoming friends with Stella, Aisha, and Tecna. The four were best friends now and it made Astra happy.
Astra and her friends had all been very excited for the day of their evaluation. They all couldn't wait to see what powers they were born with. Astra smiled as she already knew but it didn't mean she would spoil the surprise for them.
Every year Alfea would open its doors to the royalty of the Magic Dimension and would evaluate the royal children. The teachers of Alfea would then find out what each daughter of royalty was the fairy of.
Aithne had been overly excited about finding out what she was the fairy of. Since Daphne was not the Fairy of the Dragon Flame it meant one of the twins were. Astra knew it was Aithne but Aithne herself didn't.
Aithne had woken up at the crack of dawn to wake Astra up so they could get ready to leave as early as possible. Astra shook her head and sighed but got up anyway.
Once the two were ready they had to wait for their parents before they could make their way to Alfea.
As soon as their parents arrived Aithne dragged Astra into the carriage and demanded that the rest of their family hurry up so she could find out what she was the fairy of.
Astra giggled as the rest of her family got into the carriage and they left the palace grounds.
As they entered Magix Astra began to feel nervous. Since she was the Fairy of the Cosmic Star no one would know what it was. The Cosmic Star had kept itself out of history and given all the glory to the Dragon of Eternal Fire which was now called the Dragon Flame.
Astra knew Faragonda would question her on how she got this unknown power. Astra knew she could not lie to the woman and so she readied herself to tell of what had happened to her. Faragonda had helped her as Bloom and so Astra knew she could not do anything to deceive the Headmistress.
As they arrived at Alfea Astra saw her dearest friends waiting for her with their families. Astra hurried out of the carriage and ran to her friends. She jumped into their waiting arms and smiled happily.
"Ra, are you excited to see what you are the fairy of?!" Stella asked, excitedly. Astra giggled as she answered, "Yes! Aithne has been waiting for ages to see which of us is the Fairy of the Dragon Flame." Aisha smirked and said, "I know you are going to be the fairy of something great. Whether it's the Dragon Flame or not!" Tecna nodded and said, "Daphne is also a very powerful fairy so it would only make sense you twins are too."
Astra smiled at her friends as they entered the halls of Alfea.
"Girls, can you believe that one day we will come here for school?!" Stella asked as she grinned. "I can't wait! Alfea is said to be the best school for fairies in the Magic Dimension," Tecna said as she showed the percentages to them.
Astra and Aisha looked at each other with smiles as they continued walking to the evaluation room.
Once there they would be called by their name and title before being led to another room that held a large crystal that would tell what powers each girl held within herself.
As the girls sat down Aithne entered with a huge smile on her face as she walked to where Astra was.
They waited and waited until the woman with the clipboard said, "Aithne Custos, Second Princess of Domino!"
Aithne stood up and ran to the woman before she was led into the other room.
Astra and the girls waited for about ten minutes before Aithne reappeared beaming while holding a piece of paper.
Before Aithne could say anything the woman said, "Astra Custos, Third Princess of Domino!"
The others wished her luck as she waved to them. Astra walked into the other room to see those she had been dreading seeing.
In the room was Faragonda, Salasin, Griffin, and of course Griselda, who had been the one to lead her here.
Astra took a deep breath before she reached out to touch the crystal. When her fingers made contact with the crystal it glowed brightly before a gold, pink, and purple orb appeared before them.
When the light dimmed the crystal said Cosmic Star. Faragonda looked faint while Griffin and Salasin looked horrified. Griselda looked beyond shocked.
It has been far too long since I have seen you four together.
Astra froze before she remembered the orb that had appeared.
Astra has been chosen as my Guardian Fairy and as such you must protect her well until she can use my power herself.
Faragonda nodded slightly before asking, "How did you come to choose Princess Astra to be your Guardian Fairy?"
Astra has not always been Astra. Once long ago she was Bloom, defender of the universe and Holder of the Dragon Flame. She was the Second Princess of the lost planet of Domino and the heir once it returned. She unlocked great powers and brought back her sister's spirit from the depths of an evil curse.
She has defeated Valtor, The Wizards of the Black Circle, the Ancestral Witches, and Lord Darkar. She was one of the greatest fairies to ever live but once her beloved betrayed her and killed those she cared for she woke me from my slumber.
She gave up the Dragon Flame and even who she once was so that she could change the future and fate of those she loved most. She is now my Guardian Fairy, Astra the Third Princess of Domino.
With those words the orb disappeared and all eyes turned to Astra.
"You have a great power within you. It is not one that can be stolen or given away. It is yours for now and forever," Griffin told the gold eyed girl.
Astra nodded and said, "I know. For the last ten years I have kept my true power and knowledge hidden as it was far too early to show who I was but the time is coming where I can no longer hide."
Faragonda smiled at Astra before saying, "You will do well. You were chosen for a reason and one day all will know just how special you are."
Astra was then given a few pieces of paper to explain what her power was to her parents before she was led out of the room.
