It felt so nice to have hands again.

Flexing them, Megatron couldn't help but smile. It felt like eons since he last moved. To once more have his body back had been a blessing for sure. One granted by the AllSpark itself. He glanced down at the key wrapped around his finger.

Hard to imagine that such a little thing was this powerful. To reconstruct Megatron from decacycles of being nothing more than a head in only ticks, it was impressive and had to be the power of the AllSpark. The same energy he spent eons searching.

Now, it was in his hands.

Smirking, Megatron glance down at what remained of the Autobot forces. The poor fools. Two of the Autobots thought that stood a chance against him, but they barely did that. It did allow Megatron to give his new body a workout to see if everything was in proper order.

Not even Starscream was much of a challenge. To watch as his form change into gray, as his very life was drained away by the AllSpark Key, was priceless. Having the traitor's face twisted with pain brought Megatron much joy.

Now, all Megatron had to do was find-

[Megatron?]

The comm brought Megatron out of his thoughts and back to reality. He had been so absorbed with his new form and plans for the AllSpark that Megatron had forgotten.

He had forgotten about his Autobot cellmate.

With being restore and the AllSpark Key in hand, Megatron didn't need to keep up the pretense with the Autobot. He could forget about the Autobot he called Orion and leave him to rust where he hung. Maybe he could put him out of his misery and fire one fusion blast from his cannon.

But something in Megatron's spark caused him to pause.

It had been entertaining to have someone to talk to during the whole predicament, someone that understood what he felt. To be trap inside your own body, to have freedom taunted in front of you by a child. To have to play nice with a foolish organic lifeform that put you in prison and harvest your body for his interest in the first place.

It was also enjoyable to chat with someone that wasn't an idiot. There were very few of his soldiers that Megatron could claim had somewhat a working processor amount them. He did enjoy someone that could hold up a conversation.

The young mech that Megatron decided to give the name Orion had a thirst for knowledge. The Autobot didn't want to know what he was missing in his memory but craved to learn about history, philosophy, politics, anything Megatron could give him. It was…nice.

He couldn't remember the last time he had done this with anyone.

It was such a shame that Orion was an Autobot…

But perhaps, he didn't have to be.

Megatron thrust back into the sky with an idea in his processor and back over to the lab's ruins. Lugnut and Blizwing followed after him, no doubt curious why he would have to return here. Everyone failed to recognize the small Autobot hidden away and still hung in the rubble of the lab. It made no difference to Megatron as he pushed a beam away and found Orion's form still there.

Megatron slowly reached out and took to stroking Orion's face. The sensation to feel the mech under his hand felt so pleasant, and Megatron didn't know until now how much he craved to touch and hold Orion in his arms physically.

[Megatron?]

Orion's voice sounded a bit worry and concern over the commlink. No doubt, he too had to worry that the enormous mech would go off without him, leaving him behind to suffer continually.

"Sorry about that, Orion," said Megatron in an attempt to comfort the mech. "Become a bit zealous over the return to my true form. Now, let's see about getting you free as well."

[It ok, I'm glad that you kept your promise.]

"Of course I did," said Megatron, standing up as the AllSpark Key glowed in his grip, answering his commands. If it could take Starscream's spark energy away by his will, who to say that it wouldn't allow Megatron to rebuild a mech from bare-bones? To remake Orion how he saw fit.

Into something better than the pathetic Autobot he once was.

Orion wasn't the Autobot Megatron first fought aboard the ship. He was something else and over time, Megatron was taken to separating the two mechs in his mind. Orion was his friend, his ally and perhaps...

Megatron continued to look down at Orion, a rare moment of kindness and mercy appeared in his cold red optics.

"Now, allow me to heal you," he said, aiming the key at his former cellmate. "It's time to free you from your prison and join me, my friend."
