After the kiss, Megatron had thought their relationship would have significantly changed. It did in some matters, but in others, it stays the same.

They would have training and sparring in the morning. Over time, Megatron found himself impress by how much Orion had improved. He knew that the young mech had the talent, their first interaction on the Autobot's ship prove that. When Shockwave contacted him and returned with information on who Orion was, Megatron found himself grinning at his luck.

An ex-Academy star cadet who clearly was going up the ranks once he graduated. If not for an incident on an off-bounds world that ended with a fellow cadet's 'death', his Orion would no doubt be a member of the Elite Guard and in the running to replace Ultra Magnus.

But Optimus...bleh, such an Autobot name. It didn't fit someone like his Orion. He was fortunate that he didn't know it anymore and Megatron wasn't going to tell him.

More so than the only member of this event to stay in the academy. Anyone with a processor could have seen Orion merely took the blame over the guilt of a friend's death. Not very good friends from Megatron understood as one threw him under the shuttle, and the other blamed the other two for what happened to her. Anyone that saw the trio's files that Orion tended to follow with whatever the other two 'friends' managed to come up with.

Megatron wasn't an idiot either. He knew Blackarachia was found on Aracha Seven. The very world where Cadet Elita-1 'died' on. It didn't take a genius to put her story and Orion's and connect them.

Orion shouldn't have been punished for an accident. Those above him should have given him help.

It seems Megatron wasn't the only one to notice promise in the former cadet as Magnus taken to giving him the title Prime and gave him command of a space bridge repair crew. Almost a cruel irony as the very small mercy Magnus had given the young Autobot allowed his greatest enemy to gain him as an asset of his own

The training became much needed when Starscream came back from the dead. One more cruelty in his life as the Seeker somehow was fortunate enough to be given an AllSpark fragment and was brought back to life, everlasting life.

Megatron had to admit; his engines rev a bit in watching Orion coming to his defence and taking care of the traitor on his own. Hearing Starscream scream as Orion used his axe to chop his head off and once more dropped his body into the river. Seeing Orion stand there with his fans cycling to cool down his overheating systems, spots of spilled energon on his frame and a look of smugness and pride in his optics.

Megatron wanted to take the young mech right there.

The Starscream incident wasn't the only thing that needed attention. They attempted to gather AllSpark fragments, the event with Lockdown with Starscream clones (Argu, Primus must be laughing at him) and more recently, were these new AllSpark created mechs that called themselves Constructibots.

So naive, being only aware of themselves for a solar cycle, it was a sparkling's game to convince them to be his Constructicons and help him in building the space bridge. It brought him no challenge, which was a shame. He did enjoy the chase.

Then, there was so much of his time focusing on reorganizing his forces. Megatron didn't think his absence for a mere 50 stellar cycles would have caused this much chaos within the ranks. He spent so much wasted time trying to gather everyone together once more for the invasion on Cybertron when he was done on Earth.

And Orion was there every step of the way. The young mech had a great tactical mind and created some creative battles plans that Megatron took to planning to make use of once the bridge was complete. They would spend cycles going over locations, know forces and those of Autobot strongholds.

Again, it made Megatron miss having an intelligent conversation with someone who would argue with him. Not just agree with everything he said.

He and Orion still had their debates once they were done with work for the solar cycle. This time Orion had the reading material to study and truly form an opinion that made them more lively. The mech certainly was passionate when trying to argue his point, and when Orion lost, he would have the adorable pout on his face.

Sitting there with Orion, drinking good oil and having good discussions. These cycles lull Megatron into a sense of ease. Those eons of everything working against him, the universe decided to reward him.

It gave Megatron a sense of calm, allowed this underground base to feel like a home.

"Megatron?"

"Hmm?" drawn away from his thoughts, Megatron found himself back into reality. He looked up and took notice of Orion standing there next to his chair. He looked on with concern, reflected fully in his still blue optics. He could never change those optics, having grown attached to the colour during their imprisonment.

The young mech stood there, two goblets of oil in his hand. Checking his chronometer, Megatron put down the datapad he no longer looked at to see it was time for their afternoon refuelling.

"You're looking a little drain. Are you feeling alright?" asked Orion, handing Megatron one of the goblets.

The warlord took it in his hand and took a sip, "It's nothing to worry about, Orion."

He didn't seem to believe him as Orion took a drink of his own. Not wanting to cause to worry him much longer, Megatron set his cup to the side and move to sweep the smaller mech into his lap.

"Megatron!" gasped Orion, trying not to slip his drink as the warlord took to nuzzling neck.

While they did have something of a domestic relationship most of the time, Megatron wasn't above taking things more physical when the mood hit him.

But he wasn't a monster. He needed to know that Orion was willing.

Having Orion moaned under his touch and having Megatron gently nip away at the wires and cables of his throat. The cup was soon enough forgotten as it fell to the floor with a clunk, spillings it's contents. Neither didn't care as Orion attempt to grab hold of something to keep himself from falling over right there. Megatron wouldn't let him as he wrapped one arm around the other's waist to keep him straddling on his lap.

The other hand took to trailing its way down Orion's front. Megatron could feel the growing heat come from underneath his interfacing panel.

Lugnut and Blitzwing wouldn't be back for a while. Sumdac wasn't in view of the moment so he could have some fun and-

Knock! Knock!

The sudden banging filled the mine, causing the two to get out of the growing haze and back to reality. Orion pushed his way out of Megatron's lap and faltered his way to the monitor console. With a few clicks of the buttons, he brought up the front entrance camera to show those two thick-headed Constructicons knocking madly.

"Ahem, it seems Mixmaster and Scrapper are back and not looking too happy," said Orion, trying to regain himself in a professional matter. Though, Megatron could see the wanton heat of lust reflected on his face.

Slag it all. How dare they ruin-

No, now isn't the time. There would be enough time later.

"Than let us see what they want," said Megatron, getting up from his chair. He started to head to the door before turning back to Orion, "Perhaps it would be best if you go and set out some of our best oil for our...guests."

"Yes, I'll go get it and maybe I'll have some time to quickly tiny up some..."

"You do that, my dear," sighed Megatron. "I'll go and greet our guests."

And maybe try not to shove his cannon into their faces.
