15 years later
Lavaria's POV
Hi my name's Lavaria Soiya and like most girls my age, I have friends and 9 brothers. Though my life wasn't always so perfect. You see just 5 years ago my father was killed in a car accident on his way to get me from Martial Arts, the same martial arts studio as my friend Ichigo Kurosaki and Tatsuki Arisawa. After losing him, I became a quiet loner who always acted out. I couldn't help it my mom died giving birth to me in a hospital run by Uryu's father and then my father died. Still I had was my 9 brothers.
It was just an ordinary day and I was running for Karakura High School. "Damn it I slept in again. Why doesn't my alarm ever go off? I am in so much trouble." I said as I ran. I saw Ichigo waiting for me outside after he told the teacher he would go looking for me.
I only been late once and that was the day after the last full moon. "There you are! Geez you had me, Tatsuki, Orihime and Chad worried about you. Sleep in again?" he said as I got to him. "Yea sorry. Stupid alarm didn't go off." I said.
The red/orange hair teen ruffled my hair and I batted his hand away causing a laugh to escape from his mouth. "I told you not to ever touch my hair Ichigo!" she said.
Ichigo's POV
I waited for Lavaria to show after informing the teacher that I would go and search for her. I knew that she had to have slept in again and kind of felt bad for her in a way cause she was always a good student. I looked up when I hear the footsteps of someone running and I saw her. I saw Lavaria standing there panting after getting to the school
I shook my head as she came over and just seeing her made me smile. She was beautiful and sweet. I had a crush on her and I knew to keep it to myself. "There you are! Geeze you had me, Tatsuki, Orihime and Chad worried about you. Sleep in again?" I asked her. I heard her response and I ruffled her hair knowing that she would hate it.
"Why did she have to act like that? Cute, adorable and sassy? She always makes my heart go nuts." he said to himself.
"Come on we got to get inside or we both are gonna be in trouble and we both know that we need to keep our grades up." I said. I saw her nod and went with her to class
Lavaria's POV
I nodded and we went to class talking. He even invited me over to his place to study together but just as I was about to answer, I heard a hollow scream and so did the Ichigo. I followed after Ichigo after he ran off to go and fight it.
"How can I see that monster?" I asked myself. I followed after him and saw the new girl running with him which that caused me to stop running towards the monster. It was weird that a monster such as the one that I had seen existed. "What is that thing? And why is Ichigo, the new girl and I the only ones who can see it?" I asked myself.
I stood there and watched Ichigo fight this monster. After only a minute Ichigo killed it and the beast disappeared. I just stood there confused and wondering what that thing was and why Ichigo was wearing some type of feudal kimono.
I saw Ichigo look at me which made the new girl look at me too and I looked away as they came over. I was a tad bit angry with what happened cause I wanted to help but couldnt cause I didnt have any skills or weapons to destroy that beast.
Ichigo's POV
I saw Lavaria looking at me and I knew that she could see me how else was she able to stand there shocked and confused and not see me. I went over to her with Rukia and I now could see that she wasn't just shocked and confused but she was angry as well.
I could see the look in her eyes. She felt useless. I knew what that was like. "W-What was that thing?" She asked.
"How am I going to tell her without freaking her out? She is my friend and someone I really like. Will she run off if I tell her? Would she hate me?" he asked himself
Before I could explain to Lavaria what that monster was I killed I heard another voice chime in. The girl who gave me the Soul Reaper powers. Rukia Kuchiki. "It was a Hollow, Lavaria." Rukia said.
Rukia's POV
"It was a Hollow Lavaria. And Ichigo is a Soul Reaper temporarily." I said. I stood there and watch her facial expression change from confusion to sadness. I knew then that I had somehow hurt her by that last part.
"How did he get the powers?" she said as she looked down. "Why was this girl so saddened by her friend becoming a soul reaper? Was it cause she wanted to fight that Hollow? No, that cant be it. So then what I never met someone whose friends were jealous of them in the soul society. Was it the same here in the World of the Living?" she asked herself
I knew I had no choice but to tell her. I told her everything that I had told Ichigo when we first met and the look in her eyes read the same as before.
She was hurt and unhappy. "Are you okay Lavaria?" I asked not knowing that she was a soul reaper as well.
Lavaria's POV
I heard the words slip from her mouth and it hurt to hear everything she said but I knew that my brothers and my father(Urahara) wouldnt be too happy if anything ever happened to me.
I heard her ask if I was alright and at the moment I wasnt happy and I didnt know why. I couldnt understand why I felt so much anger and unhappiness right now. I didnt understand why I felt like this.
"I am fine Rukia." I lied. Ichigo always knew if I was lying or telling the truth because I sucked at lying. You see Ichigo, Orihime, Tatsuki and Chad were the only ones that really knew all that I was. One of the many creatures inside me can only tell the truth. So lying is very hard for me to do but being around humans for so long you learn to pick up on their behaviors including lying.
Before Ichigo could say anything about me lying I ran off because to be honest I didnt want him yelling at me or anything. I hated showing emotion and I hated people seeing me cry.

Sorry that this Chapter is so long. I hope y'all like it. Next chapter is where Lavaria learns the truth of who she is, what she is, and what really happened to her father. She also will learn that Kisuke Urahara is her father and how old she really is. But everything Kisuke tells her isnt the whole story or a true one at that. Stay tune...
